Whenever I get a chance to have some asian food- I take it. And if its sushi- then nothing more needs to be said. Visited sushi samurai a while back. Gorgeous interior with a mini fountain inside. Very soothing environment with welcoming waiters . Quatro nigiri combo- contained salmon nigiri, tamago nigiri, tuna nigiri, shrimp nigiri,cucumber maki and salmon maki. Salmon nigiri was really good. Fresh salmon and all. Clear thai soup- it was so warmful and delicious. Seafood bulgogi- not sure about the actual name of the dish- it was spicy, though quantity was a little less..

Weekdays lunch timing is better if you prefer less crowded setting. As for the food, it’s perfect. If you are trying sushi for the first time, you should definitely try the California roll. Then, the salmon cheese roll (I am unsure if that’s what it’s called) was absolutely divine. Definitely a must have. We even tried the miso soup which was great too (no pictures, unfortunately).

They provide premium quality Sushi but quite expensive! Volcano rolls are my personal favorite from their menu!

A good place to have Japanese, Chinese or rather Asian food in this restaurant. Situated in a prime location of Banani road 11 where hundreds of other restaurants are located. There is always a competition among these restaurants to maintain the quality of food to keep customers happy. We enjoyed varieties of Japanese food and they were good. The quantity is a bit small but quality is good. The ambiance of the restaurant is good but we found there were too many chairs and tables and made the place a bit crowded. Probably many people come for lunch or dinner. They have lots of waiting staff as well and they are friendly and helpful. Prices of food are on the mid range.

Serves quite a good selection of food. Had the sushi, it was nice and the sashimi and ingredient used were fresh. The prawn har gao (a Chinese cuisine) was nice as well. Highly recommend it. Price was on the higher end but since the ambience and food were nice, it was worthy.

In my opinion it’s the best place for sushi in Dhaka. They have some of the classic items of sushi, chicken, beef and noodles. We tried the volcano rolls, orange chicken and bulgogi chicken dishes. I must say the overall interior and the ambience of the restaurant is very nice. The service and the staff are also top notch. I know for a fact that the salted caramel cake is the best dessert in there, but sadly they didn’t have it then. Can’t wait to visit again.

They took around 40mins to prepare the food. One item was too much salty. We ordered 2 cane of Coke which took 500 taka which was totally unacceptable.

This was my first time eating sushi and I absolutely loved it. I tried 5 types of sushi and each of them had very unique flavor. Really loved it. Their ambiance is good and the staffs are well trained. I even loved their complementary chips. If you are looking to eat sushi, I'll definitely recommend this place.

Authentic Sushi can be found here. If anyone wants to enjoy Sushi with an excellent and classy environment, this is the right place to go. Very friendly behaviour. A must try restaurant in Dhaka city. Highly recommended.

Such Tiny amount of chicken given in Ramen, also felt like i’m eating Maggie Noodles, most dishes cost at least 30% more than some other Sushi places in Banani. Two star given only for spacious sitting arrangements, food quality are average. Owner should pay attention on pricing. Other Japanese restaurants serves more foods with less price. Will never visit again.

Food is amazing. Chairs are not that comfy and decoration looks kinda bad. Lights are not placed properly for good pictures and many lights were flickering. Staff behavior is good. In the end, food quality triumphs all I guess. Rather on the expensive side. They have introduced Chinese menu but didn't try it out yet.

Neither the shushi nor the maki rolls are authentic as per taste. The seaweed was too hard, the rice was too boiled and the fish had smell - none of these are expected from authentic shushi.

Fabulous food with amazing interior decor. Comfly seating arrangements. Fresh and cozy environment. Their food are literally mouthwatering flavours and great aroma of every single dishes. The stuffs are all humble and very delighted towards every single customers on the restaurant. I recommend must to try it otherwise you gonna regret it!!!

I was there in September 2020 on our anniversary day and wanted to try some sushi 🍣 😋, we ordered sushi combo20 pices ,dumplings, 🦀 wonton ,🐙 calamari . About the food I will give 7/10 in taste 8/10 platting, 8/10 in volume or amount . Over all nice place for hangout specially for couples 💑. Like the music and atmosphere. Service charge was included so for people who are new to this place its like tips included with your bill like (500$bdt) on top of your food bills . I felt its ok for the food pricing but could be lower or more in volume in the food .food quality 👌 was on point but again you gotta pay for what you eat 🍽 that's all . I hope my comments will improve there service and help the future foodies ✌

Ordered sushi three times from this place. First time it tasted great . Second time there was no vinegar , no flavor , no salt. Just tasteless sticky rice around the stuff they put in sushi. I complained but the delivery guy was extremely persistent that I pay instead of sending it back. Third time , the sushi was made with rice vinegar and loaded with MSG so I just kept on wanting to eat more.

Sushi in Japanese means fermented rice. The fish or toppings are the secondary item. I wish they made the rice accurately rather than just give plain sticky rice. The ambiance was good, the place decor was excellent. Worth a visit!

The restaurant is has a simple but well designed environment. They also deliver all over Dhaka through Food Panda. The food is great. It’s authentic and well made. The menu is a bit pricey but well worth the quality. It’s better than most sushi places in Dhaka but lower than Sushi Tei or Izumi.

Toilet smells like urine...Sushi is not tasty..There was water coming out of this sushi..and the fish smelt a little. Izakaya in Dhanmondi is way better both in terms of cleanliness and taste. Will never visit again.

One of the best places for sushi, nigiri and maki rolls in dhaka. Tried the teryaki chicken steak bowl but it was less in quantity and the chicken seemed overcooked. But the aesthetic interior will really surprise you. Recommended

A good authentic Japanese restaurant. They also have chinese items in their menu. Though it is little expensive, but one can taste the real Japanese cuisine specially various Sushi items in that restaurant.

The quality has dropped a lot. The sushi didn't taste fresh and the large portion teriyaki salad wasn't large at all.
