This place is perfect for hangout with friends as its location is very close to Varsity area. Their pizzas are always delicious. Among their pizzas I found the Sausage Lover’s Pizza to be the best one. Recently they have brought changes to their interior. So now the place looks more specious and very bright and festive. Previously they provided complimentary french fries for students of DU and BUET, however this offer is not available anymore. 😔

The fun part is, you can ask for ketchup, sweet chilly sauce, and mayo besides this (if you're a condiment freak like me this is the time to rejoice). Oh, and a little bonus, (I guess this holds with every menu item) if you order for more than 5 person, you get free french fries on the house. There are BBQ versions of this platter too, if you're interested.

The environment is good though the service and the foods are the worst! The staffs are quite irresponsible and do not want to response to customers! I ordered their burger and french fries, the burger was okay but the fries were disgusting!! The french fries tasted like boiled potatoes and dipped in oil !!

Pizza King is one of the oldest restaurants in Old Dhaka. It is right infront of the Lalbag Fort. Tried their chicken baked pasta and thai soup. Both of them were moderate in taste. The pasta smelled bad to me because they probably added coconut milk in it. I personally didn’t like the smell of coconut in pasta. However, people with different tastebud may get amazed with the flavour. Usually a good quality pasta feels spongy to bite but it felt like i was eating some pieces of wheat. Although chicken, cheese mushrooms were plenty but I didn’t like the taste. The price of the pasta was 320/- in the menu but I had to pay 360+ after adding the VAT. No marking was visible in the menu that the prices were VAT exclusive. I would rate the pasta 5 out of 10. I am saying again, this is my personal opinion. Others may rate it higher. The soup was better than the pasta. It had plenty amount of chickens, mushrooms and shrims. The price was 170 in the menu and 177 after addinf the VAT. They used lemon leaf along with lemon grass. Which made the soup more flavourful. I cannot say I dislike it. I would rate 8 out of 10. Pizza King has reneovated its interior but I liked the previous one that had blue clouds over the ceiling.
