    It's a entry and exit way located at cantonment. many years back while it was open as a only main road towards kafrul , kochukhat bazar mirpur 14 etc.todays shadinota sorony made the wide connection with above mentioned area towards mirpur turned this rojonigondha gate closed with a wall and kept a passage way for people.it is still a important gate for population in side and out side of Dhaka cantonment. It's open early morning 6:00 and closing time is 11:00 at night.

    It's just a pocket gate but have a routine which maintains by Bangladesh Army. There is a schedule for opening and closing of this pocket gate. There is a hospital very near of this gate. And obviously few shops for medicine. If you want to reach this gate from inside the cantonment, you have to come first Rojonigondha Officer's Quarter gate because this gate is just in front of the quarters gate.

    It's a pocket gate which is timely maintained by bd army.10year ago,It's the main road for kafrul residents.Then,They closed this road but there's a pocket gate now only.
