I was a regular at Nerdy Bean a few years ago. Then it was replaced by new cafes around dhanmondi. I was there today and decided to have a little dessert. I ordered a chocolate mousse and iced americano. Chocolate mousse: 160 Tk. The mousse looked very cute. However, the taste was not very impressive. It was too light and airy for my taste. I was hoping for a mousse that was richer and more decadent. Iced Americano: 220 Tk. It was usual, not bad, and quite strong! Overall I had a good experience, and hoping to go there soon. I'm going to try out their coffee and shakes. Also, I loved the ambience.

The place is more attractive for their vintage style decorating over their coffee items. It's located in the basement of the building. A separate smoking zone is available but fully close doors place that is. Less waiting time is required after ordering food. Cold & hot both types of coffee are presented into their menu. A desert is also available. Price is in the medium range. The behavior of the waiter is good enough. 🛜 - free available 💳 - acceptable 🚬 - separate room is available

I had one small latte, 220tk, most probably and smoked chicken sandwich 340tk(around)...Sandwich was good..it comes with fries, but latte didn't taste like latte. I was there around 10 a.m..and only one employee was there to cover the whole restaurant which looked hard for him. And I am quite confused why restaurant allows people to do this kind of stuff, One couple came, and the girl was sitting on the lap of her boyfriend, which made me and other customers very uncomfortable. The restaurant should be strict on such behaviour. It looked like they were regular customer there. Overall, I had better coffee, so I may not go there to have coffee again. Cosy pretty looking restaurant.

Loved almost everything about it. The ambience was unique and very comfortable. The coffee was good too. A nice place to take some good pictures. The price is slightly higher than average coffee shops. But i didn’t mind because i loved the coffee. Staffs were professional too. So a great place to visit. Parking facilities is very good. So you don't have to worry about your personal vehicles. And smoking zone is also available

I haven’t been to Nerdy Beans for a while and it seems that its food quality has gone down quite a bit. Nerdy Beans is one of the most famous coffee/cafe chains in Bangladesh. As a result, my expectations were high while ordering the food and the drinks. We ordered a chocolate brownie along with an Iced Caramel Macchiato and an Iced Hazelnut Mocha. The brownie was not upto the mark. It didn’t have the taste of a good brownie. Also, the drinks felt a little light. The strong flavor of coffee wasn’t there in either of those drinks. And, the amount of sugar in each drink was too much. Moreober, they provided a caramel juice to make it even more sweet. However, the staff were professional and well-trained and the ambience is just awesome. This is truly one of the most unique cafes jn Bangladesh.

FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST- (Recommended) The English breakfast is a scrumptious meal that has a sunny-side-up egg, 3 sausages, slices of beef bacon, baked beans, grilled mushroom, half a grilled tomato, lettuce, loads of butter and 2 pieces of toasted brown bread. It made for a wholesome and filling breakfast/brunch. . SMOKED CHICKEN SANDWICH (Definitely Recommended) Two pieces of sandwich stuffed with loads of smoked chicken and cheese. The melted cheese was dripping out of the sandwich. The smocked chicken was also perfectly cooked and full of flavour. They had the option to choose white or brown bread. I went with brown bread because it is healthier. . SAN SEBASTIAN CHEESECAKE - (Definitely Recommended) A slice of heavenly soft cheesecake dripped entirely in a chocolate syrup. The cheesecake had a very subtle sweet flavour that was perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the chocolate. . RED VELVET CAKE - (Recommended) Basic moist red velvet cake. WHITE MOCHA FRAPPE - (Recommended) . SALTED CARAMEL MOCHA - The salted caramel mocha unfortunately had a slight bitter taste so I could not drink it. They asked to replace it but I was already full from all the food so opted against it.

This place provides a comfortable environment for socializing with loved ones. They serve excellent coffee, considered one of the finest in town, at a reasonable pace. However, the only downside is their slow service. In general, I would suggest this spot to coffee enthusiasts.

One of my favourite coffee shops in Dhanmondi area. I like their vibe the most. Their food options are also very tasty and good. I often go there. This time I had a Full English breakfast, chicken strips, caffe mocha, and hazelnut mocha. Full English breakfast was good. But didn’t like their drinks much. The drinks were too liquid with ice.

Only good thing about this place is its decorations and ambience. Retro, vintage, western whatever you say. Menu availability is an issue. Its disgusting when they say 'sorry sir'

Me and my wife really liked the intention behind the setting the cafe. The owner wanted to faciliatate reading through the cafe. The vintage decoration also shouting this to the visitors. The prices are reasonable compared to orher cafes. All of these arrangements were to attract readers and have good time. However, we could only find very young couples dating there. The low price and underground location seems encouraging them. This proves the severity of lack of places to go in Dhaka. It also seems the next generation is moving away from books and truning to small episodes of romantic relationships for fun only.

Tried the Chocolate brownie. Price: BDT 105. The brownie served at this café is notably larger than what you would typically find other cafés. What sets this brownie apart is its subtle smoky and nutty flavor. Recommended 💯 Was not crowded on weekday afternoon. But the music was a bit loud. The ambience had a cozy vibe. What makes this cafe stand out is its exceptional book collection in comparison to the other cafes. Recommended for the bookworms.

Environment: Great. The overall décor was nice. They tried to make the store resemble a dark room like a coffee, and I really liked it. Though it depends on personal preference. Customer Service: Great. Their service was excellent and the workers were well behaved and friendly in nature. Coffee: Awesome. For those with a sweet tooth, they serve additional sugar packs for every coffee drink (except espresso) and you can ask for more. Dessert items: I took their personal recommendation, the chocolate cake, and it was worth the price. Pricing: The coffee and dessert items were priced justly, but can't say the same about their snacks. I can't say anything about the taste as I haven't tasted them myself, but the portions were small compared to the price.

Perfect place for bookworms who crave coffee. A massive shout-out to Nerdy Beans for their collection of books. They've kept all the well known books of Bangla and English literature both. As long as the drinks are concerned, the quality of their coffee blend is good enough. Their service was just fine. Overall, loved the atmosphere a lot. 10/10 would always recommend.

It's really a good place not much crowd,I have tried capuchino here it was good and I like the way of served. I have already visited there before and 2nd time I've tried there Sandwich with fries also wedge's. It was good to have while you're reading a book if you want. I'm not exactly remember the place is accessible or not but you can choose more restaurant in the same building which is wheelchair accessible via lift. You will find here smoking zone also for 18+ only if you do like smoking.

It's library plus coffee shop but maximum people come here for hangout, not for the library. The seating accomodations of the customers are dense. Nice interior. Coffee and food quality are standard.

I ordered a Cappuccino coffee and a Fudge Brownie through foodpanda. The coffee was good but there is a scope of improvement. The Brownie was quite tasty. Packaging of the food was excellent. They provided two sachets of white sugar with the coffee. But even after pouring both of the sachets, the coffee tasted somewhat bitter to me. I'd request to keep both options for sugar - brown sugar and white sugar so that the customers can choose the type of sugar as per their choice. However, I'd like to visit this coffee house to experience their nice environment, as I saw in the photo gallery.

The coffee was quite regular nothing special and the food quality was ok. Loved the overall ambiance but the smoking zone was quite suffocating. A place for teenagers to hangout.

I got a bbq sandwich and a cafe mocha. The ambient is good for nerds like us who like to work alone in their computer, study, research (the name is justified hence!). Music choice was good. Not too loud (which is good!) and still has a dancing and exciting vibe which keeps you awake. Less people than other coffee shops (a definite plus for me). Decent cafe mocha and sandwich for good price!

A great place to hangout with friends, you can even do group study here. The atmosphere is really nice and artsy. An ideal place for coffee dates.

Nerdy Bean Coffee Haus is a popular name among Dhaka’s youth, especially among those residing in the Dhanmondi, Mohammadpur and the neighbouring areas. With a homely ambience with a wide range of books to offer to its customers for reading. There is always something or the other going on in the vibrant café located in Dhanmondi road 2. Situated in a convenient location right beside Shimanto Square, the café hardly had a table empty.

Coffee was not good enough but interior is cozy and different. One can read books there from their bookshelves. But coffee for which people will mainly go there is not worthy in my opinion.

This has been my first visit here. And i have been quite amazed. Tried cafe mocha and caremel mocha. The 2nd one came a bit cold. So had to send it back. Price is a bit high, for the items delivered. But the atmosphere is great.

Good place for hangouts.They have a smoke zone for the smokers. There are books for the bookworms who would like to read while having a coffee break. Nice place overall I find their coffee overrated comparing with their price. The brownie is good, i usually stick to the brownies. But the cheesecake brownie was horrible I don't know why it tasted like a sugar free milk cake. Eww!

Minimalistic and cozy interior was there. Staffs were friendly but I didn’t like their food. The coffee didn’t taste good compared to the neighbouring coffee shops. The Brownie was too hard and dry. The red velvet cake was good.

The restaurant is in the underground floor. Not very crowdy. The interior is simple but good looking. Good place to hang out. There is a shelf with lots of books to read too.. The food quality is average. Order smoked chicken sandwich and Grilled cheese sandwich along with Hazelnut Mocha frappe & Cappuccino. The sandwiches were served with chilli fries. Although the smoked chicken sandwich was very spicy and cheese sandwich was ok. Both the frappe & Cappuccino was just ok but could be made better. With a little tweaking to the recipes the foods & drinks can taste way better.

Nerdy Bean has been a long-lasting favourite of mine for several years. Savory food, cozy atmosphere, combined with good music makes a good place to hang out or have some discussions for 2 hours easily. While the atmosphere is still my favourite thing about this place, the food quality seems to deteriorate a bit compared to my previous experiences.

Best place to talk over a coffee. Interior is very classy. Baristas are very friendly and well mannered. And they serve one of the best coffees in town.

Nice place to hang back over a great cup of coffee. A little on the pricey though, but worth it. A modern designed shop with a lots of coffee equipment around. Very happy with the service and the quality. The staff is helpful and the food is delicious.

We absolutely loved this place. Having lived in Melbourne for 7 years and just recently been back to Dhaka for a long haul, I was missing the cafe culture and some peace. Nerdy Bean brought back some of the same Melbourne feeling. Whomever started this place has good aesthetic taste and a good food palette. I hope they keep it up with the same quality.

Very few local coffee joints can compete with the big names. Nerdy Bean is one of the few ones. They are one of the most thriving brands in Dhanmondi area. Great coffee with rustic European decor. And lots of books to go with your coffee. Love the ambience. The chocolate chip cookies are great. Give them a try.

Americano coffee served in a cup, bowl-like mug maybe. Whiff of burnt or roasted coffee bean was much desired. It was complimented by two unopened sachets of sugar. Many books on shelves of which Manik Bandhopadhyay grabbed attention...read a page and barely understood the verses.

Photogenic place, food and coffee tastes OKAY, service and washroom were clean and tidy. Highly Recommended

Horrible place !!! When we got our coffee, cups were dirty.... there was LIPSTICK on it!!!!! They didn't bother to wash the cups before serving!!!! IN THIS COVID SITUATION I THINK THIS FREAKING DISGUSTING PLACE!!!
