It's a authentic kebab place. Sitting environment is always crowded. You got to stand and wait for a table to open up. The price is reasonable. Quality of the foods is very good. They try to serve very fast as soon you will order. We went there after midnight but it was crowded that time. Overall recommended to try it.

One of the best kabab places in Dhaka. Their kabab items are extraordinarily good. I love the Chicken Chaap, Beef Chaap, Beef boti, Chicken Reshmi, Brain fry. They have now 3 restaurants in that place to accommodate larger seating. All of them are closely situated. Parking is available in a nearby building garage. Prices and service are always good. Highly recommended place if anyone wants to try kabab and experience the Puran Dhaka's authentic food.

Well I guess no definition is required for describing food delicacies in Puran Dhaka. One of them is Bismillah Kabab Ghar. Last week went there to have their famous chap. We had chicken chap with porota and salaad. Luckily did not have to wait but in puran Dhaka, due to space, it requires waiting and also leaving the seat instantly when you are done eating. This is not something very tidy, well maintained place. You will visit here because you love food and they offer you taste. You will find here different types of chaps and porota. Taste is good. Price is really affordable.

If you are looking for the best chicken kabab/chap, then it is the place to find it. The famous Bismillah Kabab House is situated in heart of the old dhaka Nazira Bazar. Their chicken chap/kabab is one the best all over the country. Also they provide special beef which is also good.... It is very famous and busy. They start providing food in the evening.

Famous for kabab and chap. It’s a very old shop in Najirabazar. They serve chap, kabab and some other dishes with parata. Remember it’s a very crowdy place, so you have to share table.

Old Dhaka is famous for various delicious foods. Nazira Bazar is such a place where you can get almost all foods like Kacchi, Faluda, Lassi, Kabab etc. Bismillah Kabab is very famous in Nazira Bazar. Today I am sharing some photos of Bismillah Kabab. Direction: First, you have to come Gulistan. Then come to Bongobazar under the Hanif Flyover. Keep walking on Kazi Alauddin Road beside the Fire Services for 4-5 minutes, You will reach Nazira Bazar.

Bismillah kabab ghar is situated at the historical portion of Dhaka city. It is in Nazirabazar, Puran Phaka. This specific area is very famous for ancient & traditional foods such as Kabab, Biriany, Teheri, Chap etc. This area also renowned for various juice, ghol(drinks made from yoghurt) & electrolyte drinks. Bismillah Kabab House on Kazi Alauddin Road in Dhaka truly deserves a glowing 5-star review. My recent dining experience there was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant ambiance. The aroma of sizzling kababs was inviting and immediately whetted my appetite. The menu offered a variety of options, and I must say that every dish I tried was an absolute delight. The kababs were the stars of the show—succulent, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Each bite was a burst of aromatic spices that danced on my taste buds. The careful attention to marination and grilling was evident in the mouthwatering flavors that the kababs delivered. The presentation of the dishes was equally impressive. The attention to detail in garnishes and side accompaniments showcased a commitment to quality and aesthetics. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that every bite was a satisfying experience. The staff members were attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. They were well-informed about the menu and offered valuable recommendations that enhanced my choices. One aspect that truly stood out was the cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant. It's clear that Bismillah Kabab House places a strong emphasis on maintaining a clean and inviting environment for its patrons. In conclusion, Bismillah Kabab House is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an authentic and delightful kabab experience in Dhaka. The combination of exceptional food, welcoming ambiance, attentive service, and cleanliness creates an outstanding dining experience. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor to the city, this restaurant is an absolute gem that offers a true taste of Dhaka's culinary treasures. My visit was a memorable one, and I can't wait to return to savor more of their delicious offerings.

One of the famous places for krbabs in puran dhaka. The food here is too good! Cant complain about the atmosphere... Its in puran dhaka, the tables are dirty and overall cleanliness isn't there. The prices are also very affordable. Their "bheja/mogoj fry" is highly recommend!

An excellent place for authentic kebab and relevant items, 100% local made. It has got many other local restaurants around in that very zone which is famous for traditional rich food e.g. biriyani, kebab, beef kalabhuna, beef tripe bhuna, different types of fresh fruit juice, faluda and so on. There are also different types of "paan" available here. The zone starts operation from the evening and remains till dawn.

I took two kababs: Chicken Reshmi Kabab and Beef Shik Kabab. Both were tasty. However, my expectations were higher than that. 1. Chicken Reshmi Kabab: Rating 4/5. Price-150 Taka The taste was good and the quantity was higher than my expectations. 2. Beef Shik Kabab: Rating 3.5/5. Price-150 Taka The taste was average and quantity was okay. Good value for money.

The food items were really tasty and I loved them. No doubt why this shop is the popular place in old town bazar. You can try all their items, all good. One thing you have to understand as this is a crowded place you have to have patience for your food.

If you're looking for a good evening snack in old Dhaka, you gotta try this restaurant. Gurda Fry is the most popular item and you should definitely give it a go.

Good food. Good enough service. The mutton gurda is famous here. A bit oily, though, don't expect too much in terms of the atmosphere. No parking nearby.

Bismillah Kabab house has the glimpse of tradition that is found in the old Dhaka of Bangladesh. The crowded old dhaka, has the smell of different delicate cuisines. The taste of their food has remained the same over the years. Been coming here for 8-10 years, (chicken/beef)chap, (gurda) kidney kebab, brain fry, salad, paratha, taste incomparable. The price is higher than before but the taste is tremendously good. No one makes better (gurda) kidney Kebabs than them. Happy eating.

    - Very hectic, depending on the date and time, you might have to wait quite a while to get a table - All the wait is worth it tho! Because the food is excellent ( so much so that we ordered the same things 2/3 times in the same sitting) - We tried the chicken chaap, beef boti kabab and mogoj fry, all with porota

Different people may have different opinions. I and my friends all of them found this place overrated along with that the quantity was less too. Last time when we visited Puran Dhaka we had Kabab from a place which was so close to Lalbag Fort and that was really amazing by taste, price and quantity wise over all it was one of the tasty one we had back then. What we observed about most of the places which are overrated, due to their overrated popularity they increase the price and lessen the quantity and the quality also drops which is very disappointing.

The Restaurant Is Quite #Popular Among Local And Nearby Community.......... The Food Is #Good But Nothing Extraordinary........ The Hariali #Kebab Is Just Green In Color With No Distinct Taste........ The Salad They Serve Is #Unique And Tasty.......... Service From The Staff Is #Average......... Cleanness And Hygiene Might Be A Definite #Concern Here.......... 👍🏼

Nothing extraordinary in the term of taste,it was good but not up to the expectations,i think its overrated. Chicken chap was juicy and flavourfull inside, not over fried.but we disappointed with the quantity and taste of beef chap it was blunt in taste.beef boti kabab was okay.we had to wait for a long time to get a seat because it was much crowded.

Bismillah Kabab Ghar is famous for various kabab items like chicken chaap, beef chaap, boti kebab, gurda kebab, Khiri kebab etc. They serve one kind of papaya tamarind salad which enhances the taste of kebab. People of all ages and places come here to taste their food. It’s a bit small place and you have to wait outside for an empty table.

    1. Food quality is good, but over hyped 2. Service is totally below average. Their customer service should be more professional and attentive and also well mannered. 3. Very small place to sit. 4. Environment is very noisy. 5. No parking available, which is a big issue.

Good local delicacy. Especially beef and Chicken kebabs are excellent. Very tiny space. Not totally clean. Not recommended for family or kids

Good place to have Kabab and Chaap items late at night. Their Kabab items are quite popular. For Chaap, breast piece is better than the leg piece in my opinion. They serve a sour and spicy salad alongside. You can even ask for chutney.

  • 5/5 Tariq R. 2 years ago on Google
The food always has been amazing. The beef boti is the best I've ever had. The cabbage salad they give with the food tastes amazing. They are open till 3-4 am in the morning. Parking is available in the building across the street.

Bismillah Kabab in Old Dhaka is a hidden gem for authentic Bangladeshi street food. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly their famous kababs, which were a delightful mix of spices and flavors, grilled to perfection. The meat was tender and juicy, infused with the rich aromas of traditional spices that tantalize the taste buds. Their parathas, flaky and buttery, were the perfect accompaniment to the kababs. The ambiance of the place is unassuming and bustling, typical of Old Dhaka's vibrant street food scene. The service is quick and the food is remarkably affordable, offering a real taste of local cuisine. This place is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic culinary experience in Dhaka.

This is one of the best kabab place in Nazirabazar. They have no other branches. We had chicken & beef chap, brain masala and porota. They serve food with a tangy sour salad made of papaya & onion mainly. 😁 Their taste of food is amazing.

Had beef boti kabab, gurda kabab and khiri kabab. All these had incredible taste and texture. Really brings out the famous flavor of Puran Dhaka.

A must stop restaurant for foodies. They serve varieties of Kebab with special kind of salad. Daytime traffic is almost unbearable so better move in the evening for nice, spicy serving.

  • 5/5 Riashad M. 2 years ago on Google
Must visit. It was my first experience of puran dhaka at night. Truly incredible. We started our night off with the chicken chaap here around 9.30pm and we finished our night off at 12.30 am with the same thing (after eating at a few other places). It was cooked to perfection. Will be back again! Its a local hotel so seating turnover is fast but there were some large families who came later at night and were able to sit.
