The place is a combination of a souvenir shop and a restaurant. It's a Turkish fusion style place. It was quiet and a nice well decorated environment. Car parking is available on the roadside. Reservation is not required but better for family or any kind of program. Turkish kabab platter is recommended here. A nice welcome tea is served after ordering your food. Little time is required for making your dish. The taste is good enough and the food price is in the medium range. Cash and card both acceptable. SD and VAT are not included in the food menu.

I love the ambiance here. We took Mixed Grill Platter (for 2), Turkish Naan, Baklava, Turkish Tea, and Turkish Coffee. All of the items were delicious. The Grills/Kebabs were great as usual but tried the Turkish Naan for the first time and it was good. Very crunchy and the Black Cumin Seeds and Sesame Seeds added extra layers of flavor. The tea was... Well, like tea. Nothing special. And I am not a big fan of their Turkish Coffee either. But you don't go there for tea or coffee. You go there for Kebabs and the Desserts! You go there for the vibes. 😀

Looking for a calm kebab place to spend time with your family/ friends group and have dinner? Visit here. This place offers Turkish kebab and other Turkish items. The decor and food gives authentic Turkish type vibes. Sitting arrangements are also Turkish inspired, good and Cosy family setup. Taking about food they have different types of kebabs mainly like adana, urfa, shish, beyti, burhan etc. also they have kofta, shawarma, pizza etc. and some other items. We tried the mixed kebab platter as it contains various kebabs. Also they have platter option for group of people. Some dessert and drink options are available, u can try baklava among desserts. Forgot to tell, as welcome drink they serve Turkish tea. I mean presentation of that tea is something good to eye 😍 So overall, Taste of food is good. Price is little high as also they add vat and service charge. So, Visit if you are looking for a place to have family dinner with kebab items. U can go with your partner as well. And as extra guess what, u can even take photos wearing the kept souvenir clothes. You can also buy famous Turkish crafted bowls/ plates/ pendant lights etc from their collections.

Having been to Istanbul, Turkey, this place reminds me that there is a slice of it in Dhaka. Hands down the best Turkish kebab place in town. Besides food, you can also buy souvenirs. Highly recommended!

Higher mid range restaurant for Turkish kebab, dessert etc. It has specious sitting arrangements with two separate rooms and a patio. Beautiful handmade Turkish utensils, mosaic lamps and other souvenir items are also for sale here. We ordered mixed (Karishik) kebab, Beyti kebab, Revani, Semolina Halwa, Hummus, 2 Fruit juices and Ayran (butter milk drink). All the kebab items available in this restaurant were either of lamb or of chicken. We loved the foods and drinks except the Hummus though it seemed to be very healthy dish. Prices of foods seemed bit higher comparing to the portion sizes but the kebabs were not that spicy and oily. There were tasty pepper sauces with mayo in separate dipping bowls. Hospitality was amazing, we had complementary welcome tea, staff on board were super prompt. Washroom attached in the middle was quite specious, clean and well maintained. The restaurant was on the ground floor of the building which was not much contemporary and having no parking option inside but we had a decent road parking with the help and surveillance of the security persons.

My comfort food? Turkish food and this place is definitely a go to if you love Turkish food. Service can improve and be more attentive in my opinion. It’s not same as in turkey but it’s the most Authentic food you can find around here. Adana Kebap is my favorite and also the caciki.

this place is 4.5 out of 5 to me. The interior decoration in turkish flavour looks excellent. The gallery of your phone will surely collect some great photos. There is a platter with 5 different kababs and pita bread. They call it 1:2 but if you love to eat light its easily 1:3 or even 1:4. From the platter we found lamb shish kabab to be the best and most exceptional. chicken shish kabab is good but nothing exceptional. Adana kabab and Donar kabab were second bests after lamb shish. Chicken wing was not exceptional. Aside from the platter, we ordered Iskandar Kabab. And this was THE BEST item we ate there. All the kabab items were light for stomach. Not too spicy or oily. I think the pita bread could be better. We ordered two extra nuns and found it tastier than pita. The welcome tea was an as usual raw tea. We ordered a traditional item called Hummus. This chickpeas item is a bit overpriced compared to taste. From desserts, we ordered Baklava and Revani. Baklava was crunchy, good to eat. But you cant eat a lot. its very sweet. Revani is even sweeter. Its kind of a cake mixed with sugar syrup. Didn't like it. The service quality is really good at the restaurant. Some turkish traditional dresses are kept there which you can wear to take photos. Overall, a nice place to go with your family. They should add low volume turkish music.

The place is so well decorated with such Turkish artifacts that I felt good. I have been there at an early hour so didn't get to see anyone else then employees but you are to be there some other time finding a lot of customers then you'll find the place much hotter. The service providers were so well behaved and friendly. I had mixed pizza (costing 850 tk)and Turkish tea (120tk/each) which was complimentary and pepsi (25 tk/bottle) which tasted so regular (I meant, 'not so Turkish type of taste as I anticipated'). All together, I have enjoyed being there. Will gonna be there again In Shaa Allah.

Good place for friends or family hangout. Had their kebab platter. It was really tasty, and worth the money, enough for two people. Liked their complimentary tea too. Their desserts and drinks are sort of okay, not anything extraordinary. But the kebabs are all great.

Nice place for Turkish delicacies. They offer various kinds of kebabs but Doner Kebab, Urfa Kebab and Adana kebab were very good. Hummas was well prepared but would not recommend baba ghanoush. They have a Turkish corner which is a nice place for taking photos. Overall recommended.

As a Turkish person, this is my 4th time in this restaurant and I never regret. Lamb sish is as tasty as in Turkey, in addition it is not easy to find such authentic Turkish food in Dhaka. Service is also very good, I highly recommend.

My friend and I both ordered the best dish(platter). As it was filled with different kababs, some were better than the others. I liked most of the kababs in the platter and one or two kababs were not bad but not good either. Overall it’s a great dish to try.

An authentic Turkish place. Loved the food, loved the chef's hospitality. The restaurant is very well decorated and resembles an actual turkey restaurant. Most of us don't like the food because of less spice. But i personally loved it.

Sitting arrangement and room decorations are unique! All rooms are named by cities of Turkey like Izmir, Bodrum etc. Enjoyed their one of the lamb dishes. Price of food seems bit high but interior decorations made it worthy of the price. Its definitely a family gathering place. They also have prayer space. Overall thumbs-up 👍

Nicely decorated restaurant & give a great Turkish vibe. Foods were good in taste but to me it was a bit pricey compared to quality. The stuffs are very friendly. Only complains for me are - Menu cards were torn and the tables were so small - we could not place more than one dish on the table.

Overall experience was great. The food was outstanding & taste was very unique. We tried mixed kabab platter for two persons. All the kababs we're awesome. Tea & dessert is also a must try item here specially Kunafa. Ambience of the restaurant also justifies the name perfectly.

Turkish Bazaar offers an authentic taste of Turkish cuisine in Bangladesh, showcasing flavorful dishes. While the food impresses with its deliciousness, the pricing might be a deterrent for some, leaning towards the higher side. Despite the cost, the culinary experience is undoubtedly a treat for those seeking traditional Turkish flavors in Dhaka.

Authentic Turkish food. Highly recommending this place. Kebab platter and Hummus are the items to go for. Also please avoid ordering Kunafa. As it is not upto the mark.

We have gone there for Lunch. It's a very good house if you are looking for a healthy food. I must say the decorations were also very good. Lots of antique and traditional house decorating items over there. So much eye soothing interior. Food: it was very good of Kebab with lots of varieties. Mixed kebab/ Karishik was good enough for two person. Hummus is also good. You can take it with ruti. 1 plate is enough for 3 person with ruti. For dessert, you must taste semolina Halwa is best and Revani is also good. Environment: very well decorated, nice and calm place. It was a nice healthy food dine in.

Place- the ambience is good. Got a turkish vibe with the paintings, decoration, blue lights, lighting, the souvenirs. You can collect the souvenirs if you want. It's cozy and all good. Perfect for an evening hang out. Food- a bit on the dry side. Felt the kebabs were very dry but hey you get sauce and mayonnaise to cover up. Got the Smoky flavour as well. Hummus is ok.tea is ok.in the pixed platter you get pita, rice , kebab and some wings and salad. But the pizza is delicioussss. Price- based on the taste of the food, over priced. But yes it's recommendable.

Turkish Bazar got a whole lot of Turkish culture included. Inside is really beautiful and a different environment inside the country. Deshi people should visit for the culture and the food. Here is some info about Turkish food including the region. Turkish cuisine varies across the country. The cooking of Istanbul, Bursa, Izmir, and the rest of the Asia Minor region inherits many elements of Ottoman court cuisine, including moderate use of spices, a preference for rice over bulgur, koftes, and the wider availability of vegetable stews, eggplant, stuffed dolmas and fish. The cuisine of the Black Sea Region uses fish extensively, especially the Black Sea anchovy and includes maize dishes. The cuisine of the southeast is famous for its variety of kebabs, mezes and dough-based desserts such as baklava, şöbiyet, kadayıf, and künefe.

The kebab platter is the best option for a group or couple.. it's 3 types of chicken wings, doner and shish and 2 types of lamb.. they all tasted amazing the smoky flavour makes it all perfect.. Some might find it dry but the sauces cover up for it.. price is 1550 for 2 excluding vat so kinda on the expensive side.. The hummus wasn't all that good.. was a little bland.. The iced tea was a perfect match with the platter.. Think I went into too much details 😂😋

The interior decoration was quite good. It wasn't that crowded when we went for lunch. They provide a welcome tea for you. The mixed kebab platter we ordered was pretty good, the amount was good for 2-3 persons, if you are thinking of a light meal. Not a big fan of the bread though. It comes with this platter. Unfortunately we found a fly in a kebab piece and informed the waiter, he immediately informed the management and they replaced the whole platter for us. Appreciate it, but the environment of their kitchen might need to improve. Another thing, the Turkish bazaar collection seemed too few. I hoped that there would be many more items to check out. Recommended for good pictures and good quality food. ✊

If you have eaten kababs from 4, 5 places you'll find this is not much good. Only their interior is different (or may has Turkey culture) but the foods were almost same as other average kabab reataurants. Overall, comparing high price, food was average. Only Rice was nice. Salad also had no different things. I doubt, if they at all serving turkish foods or not. No beaf, by the way. No gravy items they have. Toilet was unclean. Be careful when you go inside. You may hit your head with wood accidently. On road parking (free).

Not satisfactory☹, in terms of food quality, food test, cleanliness, on top the serving people not seems to be trained. Considering COVID-19 affect, that could be a reason of all above findings, less customers, straggling to survive. But to keep the business up there is no short cut or excuses and what you going to serve that has to be with lot of care.

Good place for Turkish food with good environment. The place is old with moderate renovation. Though there are lots of interior done. Food taste is good, specially Turkish Pizza is so Yammy. Kabab platter is good, few kabab tastes great, rest are average. Turkish naan tastes crispy and tasty. Service is just average, foods are bought in an unsynchronized way. Turkish naan came after long time of kabab. They served Turkish tea for free when we ordered so many food items. Staffs are not that cordial and friendly. They are not readily available too. Had to reach out to them by walking several times to ask for anything.

Awesome turkish ambience of Turkish Bazaar & Restaurant made me feel that I was in Turkey, but their foods helped me to come to reality that I was in Dhaka. Kebabs were good but they tasted like continental kebabs, not turkish. Chronology of serving food was really ridiculous, they served nan after we had finished the main course. Hummus was bad, rather I would rate 3 star for lamb shish & Sultan Ahmet Kofte.

  • 4/5 Experience with N. 2 years ago on Google
This is probably my favorite restaurant right now in Dhaka to go for whenever I crave Turkish cuisine. Firstly, the ambience is beautiful and makes you experience a bit of Turkey in the heart of Dhaka city. They serve you complementary tea, which actually tastes like basic Bangladeshi tea but welp, it’s free so I can’t complain. Then talking about the food, I have tried each new dish with every visit and I can say confidently that they have met my expectations. Each item is well seasoned and the grills taste mouthwatering. Some of my favorites which I order at every visit are their wings, Adana Kebabs and Döner Kebab. From theirs sides their Hummus is pretty good. However, I wish the price was a bit more affordable since I visit so often, I would’ve loved it if it didn’t trigger my guilt for spending so much money on food. Also on busy days, their kitchen takes too long to serve you food which makes my hungry soul sad :(( Overall, can’t complain much. Would recommend to give it a try for sure!

They literally judge you by your appearance. Idiotic behaviour. Served cold food. The pita bread was totally cold and hard. Kebab was lighty warm. And they didn't even said sorry for their behaviour and food.

Best place for Kababs and authentic Turkish Foods! I believe this is one the underrated restaurants in Dhaka! They serve authentic Turkish foods which are so much delicious, though the foods are a bit expensive. Their decoration is also beautiful, you'll feel like you are actually in Turkey. I guess they are facing problem in their marketing, that's why people are not visiting the place that much. The place felt too quite as no one was there except us, and it was a peak time at evening. I feel like this place should get more visitors. Besides foods, they also sell Turkish iconic products like lamps and ceramics.

However their single kebab platters are quite expensive. You can try them out if you are into Middle Eastern flavors.
