Wish I could give no stars. Please try to avoid BSH. BSH is the one of worst hospital. They have several cases running in the courts. Overall attitude of Dr. including staff is not to care of you. Specially Dr. Manirul Islam and Dr. Israt Jahan Lucky never explained about the treatment. They just want to make money by keeping the patient admitted. Dr. Manirul Islam and Dr. Israt Jahan Lucky killed my baby by their worng treatment. I hope this review helps and saves several life.

Not even a single doctor comes on time. The doctor is already 1.3 hours late today. A few days ago the doctor came after 3 hours. The cabin and other accessories are super expensive. 1 day for a cabin will cost you at least 10k. The discharge process is also very slow and time consuming. It took 3.5 hours to discharge a single patient. On top of this you will find a big parking issue here. Overall the place is expensive takes your money and doesn't give you the service you deserve.

I went there with my 3 years old to the Children Section. Extremely high fee and Very long and disorganized appointment scheduling. They made you come 2-3 hours early and seating at that location for 2-3 hours, any accompaning parents will get sick. They seriously need to rethink the way they handle appointments. 2-3 hours waiting even with appointment for 10 min of doctor's time for such a high fee is not justified. I am going some place else next time.

Went there for an appointment with Dr. Farhat Hussain. Had to wait a very long time despite being an hour late on our time!!! It was a very crowdy place at that time, oftentimes noisy, specially around the lift & waiting rooms. Definitely book your appointment & investigations before coming here. Make sure to register a patient identity card in the ground floor. It will cost 100 tk.

Money hunger hospital. A few of my relatives had serious cases but they tried to give wrong treatment without any proper findings. Even their test reports are not reliable. They are very careless with human lives and condition. All they think about is business, profit and money. They were about to do a life risking operation of my aunty few days back which was more clear consulting other hospitals, doctors and tests. They are not human. Avoid this hospital , never ever have this as a option at all. This hospital needs to be banned otherwise more lives will be taken.

Last July 29th around 3.00 AM my baby became very sick. As I was out of the country on business, my wife took him to your hospital Bangladesh Specialist Hospital. First seeing his condition, they asked to admit him, then due to not having enough cabins, they asked him to go home with the treatment of a consultant. The consultant then did some tests and took my baby to the blood collection room for the tests. After about 40 minutes my baby was kept inside but after hearing the baby's cry my wife asked the nurse on duty, is the blood collection not done yet? The nurse on duty there says we already pushed the injection four times to the baby. But we were not able to take blood from him. Then my wife said to the nurse, then there is no need to take blood. I can't stand the baby crying. Give it to my kid, I'll try somewhere else. But they say we try a little more, since the receipt for the blood has been cut, later they tried again for twenty minutes in the blood collection room and were able to take blood from the daughter. They asked to come for the report at nine in the morning. When my wife leaves the baby at home and goes to get the report around 9:00. Then they asked to wait, and after waiting for almost two hours, they gave the report around 11 o'clock. But my wife checked and saw that the CBC report was not given. When my wife asked the receptionist on duty, she said we forgot to take the CBC blood from the baby, you bring the baby again and we will collect the blood again. Then my wife thought about her daughter's suffering and said that I don't need to do the test. Give them the reports that have been given, I will try elsewhere. Then they ask you to wait until you get the CBC money. Some of our doctors will come with their signature and then we will give you the money. After sitting for a while and when he was asking again how long will his doctor take? They are again saying that this process can take up to two hours. Then he said that I do not need money. I gave it to you, saying that he is leaving. So my complaint is if this is the picture of 'Bangladesh Specialist Hospital' in a famous hospital like Bangladesh. If blood collection is done with an amateur team. They do this kind of work on such sensitive issues as children. So where do customers like us go?

I have only OPD experience here, and from that point of view, i can say, this hospital is neither good nor bad. They bring top rated doctors, hospital’s clean, well planned interior, diagnostic department is nice, they have own cafeteria and pharmacy, separate prayer corner for men and women, breast feeding room, physiotherapy center, service charge is high, location is convenient just on the main road. Points to be noted- * You must have a patient ID card to get any service from here. ID card registration fee is tk. 100 *You have to wait for 1.5-2 hours on an average to see any top rated doctor. Your serial will be counted after payment of visiting fees. * Doctors most of the times come late. * From afternoon to 10 pm, theres always a long queue before the lifts.

Poor follow up from doctor and service quality is very much poor and attitude is negligible. I had my wife admitted there for 3 days for a surgery and no daily doctor follow-up was there. Every time had to ask the nurse to call doctor for follow up. This hospital is a slaughter house only. No quality service is there and their service has no value for money. Not recommended at all.

They have good doctors bt their assistants are hungry for money.All they talk about money,money and money.Duty doctors Don't have any idea about the patients. Their services are worst. Hospitals lift,AC and their mind are all broken. People can go and get prescribed from the doctors but don’t get admit in this hospital. They charge so much from the patients.

Recently I have been done my shoulder surgery over there by a renowned doctor of the hospital but after the surgery, their overall services had been made me super disappointed. Even in a word, I can refer them as 'Super Commercial' also I have found no accountabilities of the staffs and doctors although their charges are very high than others.Details review will be shared soon in my FB post.

One of the big & renown hospital in Bangladesh. Within short time this hospital is become very popular. Most of the experience and valuable Doctor is director of this Hospital. Environment is very good. Treatment also fantastic due to Experience doctor panel. All types of facilities available in this hospital. Hospital facility is very much expensive. But service is like as expensive smooth. Parking area is very poor due to unavailable parking space. Every day huge patient take their medical service from this hospital.

Clinical service is below average. Doctors do not maintain the time schedule. A lot of patients take advantage of the corrupt staff associated with doctors. I don't even rate one star for the appointment system. Absolutely not recommended.

Bangladesh Specialized Hospitals left me deeply dissatisfied. The lack of organization in their system, coupled with unprofessional staff behavior, created a disappointing experience. Time management appeared to be neglected, and the high costs did not seem justified by the quality of service received. My visit was far from satisfactory, and I cannot recommend this hospital based on my experience.

Mismanagement at it's best. I was consulted with Prof. Dr. Khaled Mohsin at that hospital about my grandma. Doctor suggested us a Echo test. I paid the money and came to the Echo room. The stuffs told us to wait for one and a half an hour !!! I wanted to know why ? They said It's not possible to do a echo test suggested by Dr. Mohsin with another doctor. If someone else does the test, the doctor will fire them. I requested them to manage as soon as possible because my old grandma wasn't feeling good. But they couldn't help us.

One of the worst hospitals I've ever been to. Their customer service is worse than that of a public hospital. They believe they are top-tier hospitals in Dhaka and charge accordingly, but in reality, they charge extra for their terrible service. Don't waste your time and money. Wish I could give 0 stars

I expressed my disappointment about the hospital being excessively costly, and additionally, there's no dedicated parking; only a nearby paid option closing at 11:59 pm. The cleanliness of the hospital is also below expectations. 😕

Its a cozy hospital and very good consultants are available here. But be careful if you get admitted there. They have a very bad reputation for keeping their patients without proper reasons and it is just for money. They will try to puzzle you so that you decide to keep your patient for a longer period. Bottom line is, if you are looking for a consultant its a good place, but if you want to get admitted there it should be your last choice. You will find many positive reviews here, but I really doubt that. Some of the medical staffs are very ill trained.

One of the worst appointment management by the Doctor and doctors attendant. Appointment time was at 8:30 pm but actual time of appointment wat at 11:15 pm. Completely unprofessional as a well know hospital .

While the Doctor himself is good, the hospital's service and system is just bad. To book appointment you need to call the hotline on that day at 7:30 am, the hotline either stays busy or you are in call waiting from 7:25 and finally when they receive your call they tell you all appointments are booked within two minutes, tried to book appointment 5 days in a row, same story and then they tell me if you need to see the doctor so urgently go to our emergency admission. Terrible Service.

Very poor and worst hospital I have seen ever. No systems and no transparency. Stuff as well as management are very mannerless like their system. Easily booking a doctor is impossible here. People have to go on the way to corruption for book an appointment there or under the table. Really I have never seen a bad and worst class hospital ever in my life. Legall Authority’s should take proper action for the public harassment. Only referenced by VIP work there. So annoying.... I tried to make an appointment for a patient to the cardio doctor Abdul wadud Ch. But I could not. I tried a minimum of 10 days to listen to their (Receptionist) suggestions but if I called 15 min before 7:00am they told me to call exactly 7:30am but when I called 7:30am their line remained busy. I visited the hospital and requested for an appointment but they did not help me. After that one of their employees assured me that only VIP's reference work here and for this reason the appontment system is not transparent. And because of their unfair appointment system they do prefer only telephonic blocking. In conclusion it is very clear that the hospital is the worst to serve the people. They are there for earning a huge to blackmailing people on the name of sytem. My question is for all the people who will see my review that a poor farmer from bangladesh can make an appointment for Sir Dr. Debi Sheti but why not for Dr.Wadud Chowdhury? Very poor time management and unprofessional facilities. They are charging high with low quality service. Not recommended at all.

The hospital is seems way much overrated based on their pricing versus services. You will be charged high but you will get pretty average or below par services. For example, you won't be provided any kind of room amenities like sandal, towels, tissues, soaps etc. until you pay additional charges. Even if you pay for delux cabins which costs BDT 11600.00 per night.

Doctors are good but the staffs are really need to improve their behavior. Their behavior isn't like they're doing a job. They thinks they're doing a favor without their will. I'll change my review if the service get better.

They have a cafe in basement. They serve coffee and snacks like burgers , sandwiches etc. There is a nice seating arrangements where one can get e coffee and sit comfortably. That place has real plants around it in shelves which is very soothing. Price of food is little bit higher. Main problem is network can't get there due to its location.

Bangladesh Specialized Hospital is a good hospital with lots of professional doctors, trained nurses and other stufs. Their service is very good and hospital staffs are very friendly. However, this hospital is quite expensive.

One of the good hospital in the city. Though many areas still need improvement. They have managed to keep top doctors in the town. As a result they can't keep same management system for those renowned doctors. Especially in terms of serial management well it depends on the responsible person, which is not digitized to have better management system and avoid illegal imposing of power. In wards and cabins, sisters are not well aware of the decorum. They always gossip and create noises, which is not good for patients at all.

Don't be misguided by watching 5 or 4 star review . If you observe all 5 star or 4 star review majority reviews are copy pasted like an advertisement. Those high rate giving persons are this hospital's acquainted person and This 4 or 5star rating is fabricated and totally manipulative . Now a days peoples are not foolish but they(hospital advertisement team) thought us foolish.

Very poor customer service. Do not value patients' time at all. They will give you an appointment at 530 PM. But will not call you up till 8 PM! Also the air condition facility is inadequate. Word of advice, bring a bangla "Hathpakha" with you if you have to come here. So, brace yourself before taking an appointment at BSH.

Service, Cleanliness etc is good. The cost is high. Staying in a cabin for 5 days without any operation may cost nearly 100 thousand taka (1 lac). Service charge and cabin cost for one day is 10 thousand taka approx. One bed for the patient and one divan/sofa (not bed) for the attendant. By the way, service charge is not calculated in percentage that's one positive thing I see. It's fixed per day - 1600.

Very poor staff maintenance and overpriced for no reason. Moreover, when I took my mom for dailies it seems the supervisor is very rude and inexperienced, more incapable than the nurses. Last February my uncle was admitted there during that time I noticed their flaws in administrating medicine to my uncle such as when his sugar level dropped they had no clue what to do and I what to call for the doctors in charge and they were late. Moreover, I saw that they have a similar condition with other patients and some of them were also wrongfully diagnosed for which they lost their life. In that regards like to add my uncle untimely death on them too as I know for fact he suffered from internal bleeding and the doctors couldn't find the right cause due to poor management. I also like to add their dialysis system is poor and many people also complained like me.this an awareness post regarding there poor standards in patient handling even after we pay overpriced bills for top-level service. Only good thing is that the doctors do try and visit each patient individually but the management and staff service is very poor.

My wife got admitted over there. This place is a land of pirate other than doctors. The doctors are first class. Although they are charging 10 times higher compare to other places. The environment is good. Guards are rude. No outside food allowed for attendant.In short overpriced place.Don’t go if you are not in the death zone.

Their service is top notch, no doubt about that. However the lift service is horrible, people have to wait a long time in a queue to get into the lift. Even while I was pregnant I had to take the stairs because there was no space inside the lift. The billing counter also needs to work on their service. Whenever the hotline number connects us to billing counter they never pickup the call.

It's the worst hospital in the country. They kill people. In ICU the nurses are not trained and they loudly gossip all night ignoring patients. If you want to save your loved ones avoid this place.

Doctor's are very good. But the nurses and ward boy working in the cabin are terrible. Be careful with each and every steps they take. They are not well trained. One of the nurse in 14 fl started to give epidural in the I/V line. They even don't know how use oxygen. One of them bring tap water for oxygenation. They don't know the difference between catheter and drain tube.. Tried to fix drain tube as catheter and remove drain tube fluid in the urine pot as he didn't know that was a drain tube. All the thing happened in the 14th floor.. After calling nurse and ward boy. They never come on time, even it is an emergency. But other time they get time for gossiping.I am really disappointed with their service.I will never recommend someone to go there.

This is new Hospital in Dhaka. Most of the time got too many medical representatives in compound specially found in Dr. Murtuza Khair chamber. In this floor receptionist is too much talkative, his behaviour isn’t upto the mark. Keep waiting patient, gossiping with other. This is really disappointing for me. All over treatment is good.

Service wise cannot differentiate much from other hospitals. The healthcare service in Bangladesh mostly lack in many areas. One thing i should mention, earlier they used to have parking facilities which is almost gone to nill in recent time.

Yesterday I went to this so called specialised hospital with my sister due to her hypertension. At emergency...after doing ecg & ct scan duty doctor suggested us to admit my sister at CCU. But after admitting CCU - my sister 's experience was horrible. AC was not working...no senior doctor visited here till today (17 july 2022)1100hrs. It was told today after 1400hrs senior doctor may come. I think this is the only one CCU in bangladesh- where senior doctor visit CCU after 1400hrs.At CCU - no duty doctor was available after 0000hrs & after 0400hrs when my sister was crying with pain a nurse gave her 1napa tablet & for all this horrible & unprofessional service they charged 18k. Management may think now they are renowned hospital- but plz remember with this type of service- a hospital can't hold it's name & fame. If your CCU condition is like this..I don't know what is the standard of your other services.I certainly request everybody plz avoid this hospital for your emergency services. Because for you it's emergency- but for them it's easy opportunity to make money without giving you any service

The worse hospital we ever had. Nurses, Duty dotors are very rude and bad behaved. Dr's and admin people are not cooperative at all. Moreover, they are highly charged and start charging so many hiddens.

Nice location. Clean hospital. Sisters and brothers are very helpful. This hospital doctor carefully. Hospital environment wonderful. Parking space and driver accommodation are good. I hope the hospital authorities retain their reputation. I wish them success. I hope hospital management's do this.

Definitely one of the best hospital in Dhaka, however last night's experience was aweful. It was 4:00 AM, my mother who is COVID-19 patient, in severe condition my brother rushed to BSH with her and 20k taka in cash, since almost all ATMs were closed we couldn't withdraw money in this early morning, but the Hospital management demanded 50k for admission and they denied us which was inhumane in this COVID-19 pandemic situation.

Worst service!! Their ward charge is 4,100 taka per day with service charge. I thought the service will be good. The behaviour of the nurses are very bad. They are keeping their patients in the new building which is still under construction and the construction sound made my mother more sick mentally. May be Management is just working on how to showoff rather than providing quality services.

When a patient is a medical doctor himself/herself, they don't want to write "Dr" at the beginning of the name. You have to fill up a form to be registered as a patient. I wrote perfectly and clearly everything in the form, still they didn't write "Dr" in the name. When I called the hotline for appointment even at that time I said clearly the term Dr at the beginning of the name and they didn't. I have never seen such attitude been shown in any hospital of our country. This is the only hospital in our country I have been to which didn't show any minimum respect when we went there as patient who is a doctor!! So, doctors beware if you go as patient in here. But the specialist doctors of this hospital are so nice behaving and even the junior doctors. Both senior specialists and junior doctors are very caring and have high knowledge of medical science and their service is of excellent quality. But the staffs are truly unprofessional. Because of very much unprofessional attitude and low class manner of staffs specially at different desks both in the entrance (where patients fill up form) and also at the place of chambers of specialist doctors, I have to give a low star.

A few very good and experienced doctors established the hospital for a while now. The cost is a bit high and it is growing and developing everyday. The hospital did very well to fight COVID-19 and still continuing to serve Covid-19 patients while many have stopped. The have a haemo dialysis unit which can provide services to 24 patients at a time. It is even open on Friday with it’s outpatient services. The general word for inpatient is very congested.

There are some good doctors but the management and stuffs are absolutely worst. They keep calling patient's family and threatened not to treat patient properly if the bill is not paid each and everyday. Disgusted by their behavior. Felt like they opened the hospital for earning money not for treatment.

First time to use the service at this hospital, I have good impression with the location, decoration and good service from staff, short time for waiting registration after that can start to the process blood collection and received test result within same day.

Very poor service. They charge high but not able to provide any standard service. They have no expert doctor after 8 pm. Specially for cabin / ward patient assigned duty doctors have zero knowledge. I was near to death situation during my last stay. I am requesting everyone to cross check them before getting admission. Surely their medical service is very bad.

Apart from the part of their hospital service, I would like to talk about their canteen.. They have like a nice sitting for people..Their foods maybe healthy but it's overpriced.. Just for your Information, one cup of coffee costs 100/- taka..And believe me It tasted awful. I have never tried such a coffee..Even roadside coffee tastes better than that and that will also gonna cost u like 15 to 30 taka.. The staffs were very nice and their behaviour was friendly however I didn't like their food.. It's just my opinion.. No offence.

One of the worst hospitals in dhaka city. All of their charges are extremely high compared to their services. Among the Doctors dr. Ms arefins treatment methods are really bad and his appointment assistants are worst. Their behavior towerds elderly citizens are really bad. If you decide to visit him expect 7-8 hours waiting time before you go there. Appointment fee is also very high.

They have good doctors, Laboratory facilities. But the infrastructure system is poor. Its a roadside hospital, the entrance is too conjusted to enter and exist. Also they have more than 4 lift but no system regarding in patients and out patients services.

The service of Bangladesh Specialized Hospital is very high quality. I am completely satisfied with the treatment here. And as all the famous doctors of Bangladesh are here, I am calling everyone here for better treatment..

They probably have many good consultants. Only because of some good doctors the hospital cannot be named as VIP hospital. Yeah, in the town many people know this hospital as VIP hospital. Now why I am not recommending this hospital. Actually there is no reason to recommend this hospital. Specially if you want to get admitted in this hospital. The reasons: 1. It's not money worthy at all. Very expensive comparing other hospitals of the city. There are many hidden charges which you cannot know before getting admission. 2. Stuff behavior is ridiculously poor. I tried to meet with HR head to convey this message. But couldn't meet with HR. 3. Few duty doctors are very much non professional. I could have tag few duty doctors name here. But I am not doing it to maintain the privacy. 4. Getting admission to this hospital is the biggest challenge. Unless you are a VIP, you have very less probability to get chance for admission. 5. Another disaster service you will witness when you get discharged. The process is extremely slow. They take 5-6 hours and even more to make the discharge of a patient. 6. The food provided to patient ridiculously bad. They even don't know the foods should be kept in the warmer trolley while serving. Overall, I am struggling like a hell with this hospital. But I am tolerating it because my patient's consultant is from this hospital and I do not have any choice to avoid this hospital.

I have been there many times, as a patient myself and as attendance of my relatives who were admitted there..from that experience i can say that its a good place for treatment, probably many of best doctors are working here, also they make very fast appointment to doctors, and their lab test results are trustworthy you can rely on them. Now the negative and probably worst part is their male staffs behaviour to the customers at the ground floor. Really rude and unhelpful, you can say no manner at all, they dont treat patients well. Last time i went there for blood sugar test, in this test patient needs to sit there after breakfast for 2hours to give blood, so i was sitting in the ground floor, it was very hot in the ground floor as they closed all the ac in the ground except the counter and reception, i asked for help to turn on the ac as i was sweating they did not listen at all and acted very disgusted and did not pay any attention. I did not visit there after that, though it is very close to my house. I used to visit Anwer khan and Square earlier for treatment but due to corona virus i did not want go that far and came to BSH. I hope BSH authority will appoint some nice people there so that people can come to take good treatment.

Each day they are falling to the new low! They will charge you like Singapore but you will get service like govt hospitals. And by service I meant the hospital services & management.

This hospital is managed by some of the highly professional doctors of Bangladesh. The offers good service. Neat and clean.

There are many good consultants here. Never have to be admitted here. But when went to consultant you cannot manage time. Sometimes after getting the time slot you will find the doctor went to visit. Also breaking serial is a normal practice here. Sometime its urgent cause as some patients need to be seen by the doctor. But the hospital stuffs behavior is not up to the mark. That's the most annoying thing of this hospital. Looks like they are not investing well with their stuffs.

Extremely unprofessional! This is not a hospital, it is butchered house. Read this carefully if you are planning to go there for treatment. My Mother in Law was consulted by Dr. Sirajee Shafiqul Islam on 05/10/2020. Due to his wrong diagnosis and medication, my Mother had a stroke on 07/10/2020 and was taken initially to the emergency of Bangladesh Specialized Hospital. However, since my sister mentioned that my Mother was consulted by Dr. Sirajee Shafiqul and she was misdiagnosed, thus the duty doctor at Emergency refused her admission to the hospital. She was taken to the Square hospital and passed away on November 2 , 2020.

Bad Service . Trying to take serial for Dr. Samsul arfin (Gastroenterology ). But the serial system is very Disgusting .You have only 10.00AM to 10.01AM time means only 1 minute. I was calling their hotline number for 5 days. Every time whenever you call it will hold you until 10.02 AM . After their representative receive the call and say to you .Time is over for today .Please call Next day.

Customer service khubee third class. Suggesting to avoid. Called the customer and they behave really in a unprofessional manner. My mother is really sick and I'm calling since 24th September but they can't even provide a appointment. They're just telling me to call on 10 a.m Which I did!

Services were good till 2019. Nowadays Dr. Abdul Wadud Chowdhury forces the patients to take his so called company's medicine for his commission. Behaviour was too bad. He should learn how to treat the patients. Highly disappointed

I have been visited for fertility treatment in this hospital to see a doctor. In order to continue treatments, I have had chances to visit their some of departments such front desk , covid test , blood test and pharmacy. This hospital is very systematic and their stuff doing their best in my experience. Toilet was spotless, very clean . Definitely little bit expensive but not like some expensive hospital , to deliver better service they must have lot of expenses too. I don’t have very details about their all service but I can recommend you within my experience.

BSHO is located on Mirpur Road very near to Shaymoli. Its very neat and clean. Also many specialist doctors are available here. It has Pharmacy on the 1st floor (Entrance way). With the good doctor it has HCU, CCU, ICU facilities which is above average. I had to came here for donating blood. I'm expecting that this hospital is give better service always.

Hahaha, I was loughing at someone's review of 'world class service!', perhaps he has little idea of service standard. I've been visiting the hospital several times, but sorry to say I have never had satisfactory experience there. Very poor management with high cost. Staff's behave is like its their mercy for us. Yesterday I took my 6yrs old son to there, his sergery was scheduled at 12:30 pm, with couple of more kids at the same time. The doctor and the staffs were so busy that they had little time to attend my son. Here to mention the other kid was there for same sergery of my son. The sergery was done by 3:00 pm, and when he was put to post operative room nobody noticed that he was bleeding. When informed the nurse about that they were complaining against my son! Even for bill I had to wait for 2hrs. So, I'd suggest you go there only if you have any connection with someone there. Any govt hospital in Dhaka has better service than BSH.
