This is a hidden gem in Uttara and I am in love with this place. The vibe of this place is so calm and peaceful, the decor and ambience is eye-soothing. Coming to their food, their Asian shrimp pasta was the highlight of this place for me. The flavor is complex and will make you keep thinking about it for a week. Their mango tart is another show stealer; can have it all day everyday. The other food we tried there was amazing too. Highly recommended for any types of hangouts. P.S. : Their washroom is neat and you can park on the road nearby.

Another amazing emerald restaurant! Quite, peaceful, woden ambience was really awesome. Food was really delicious and exceptional - true asian fusion. We have tried calamari wrap, duck set, squid coconut curry, goyza and a coconut pineapple and orange juice. Price of was way reasonable. A huge restaurant with lots of seating arrangement. Staffs were humble and well-behaved. Highly recommended restaurant and will definitely revisit again, it will be our family restaurant.

This is our all time favorite place. They relocated and kept the decor, food like before which is comfy and soothing. I love their full fish items. My daughter loves their steak. The seating arrangement is spacious. We went for their iftar platter this time and they didn't disappoint us!

Really this review should be 4 stars because of the slow service, but the food was so good at a good price with an awesome vibe, I'm keeping the 5 stars. We came in on a Friday evening with a large group of 10. While the restaurant was initially empty when we arrived at 8, by the time it was 9/9:30 it was filled up. We ordered group style and I was surprised by how good all the food was. Some favorites include the calamari in spicy sauce, as well as all the dumplings and shumai. The soups and most of their drinks were also quite good. I didn't love the coconut drink (their signature apparently and most expensive) and would avoid. The one grievance I have is the speed of service. I was surprised by how long it took to get the food out despite the restaurant being empty when we ordered. When the kitchen preps for service, it's supposed to have it's items ready to go as service begins. Expected more from a higher-end restaurant like Trouvaille. The staff also seemed to meander and chat amongst themselves more often than catering to the customers. Overall, a great spot though and the positives greatly outweigh the negatives. Will be back!

The overall service is quite good. Number of options are available for choosing the food stuffs from menu card. Foods are delicious, tasty and adequate. One can enjoy their food with family and friends. A place where one can also arrange parties in a limited scale. Pre-booking is preferable to avoid unnecessary hassle if you’re in a group. They don’t have any designated parking area/lot but road side parking is available. Wheelchair access is not available. Kids zone is not available too. Price is reasonable. Location is easily accessible. The overall atmosphere is very soothing but on the day we visited the air conditioned system of that particular room was not functional.

Ordered Asian shrimp pasta, Seafood rice rice, Red curry chicken and Mango pie for dessert and Pineapple ice tea❤️ The pasta was AMAZING! 10/10! Would love to have it again. And i’d rate the pie 7/10 as it was too sweet. The atmosphere is so aesthetically pleasing. Loved the experience.

Great place, great food, great service and most importantly great ambiance. Sort of like those old french cafes with old wooden structure and decoration. Cream of mushroom soup was exceptionally good as well as other items being decent enough for the price. Would love to go again and try other items. Altogether, recommended for hangouts, dates or just having a good meal.

I'm going there for the first time after they relocated. The new place is nice but doesn't have the same cozy vibe as the last one. The food is still very good. I loved the whole fish in tamarind sauce, the calamari wrap and the soup items but the cheesecake and the pineapple mint smoothie let me down a little.

This place is a hidden gem of Uttara. The interior is calm; you can feel a sense of tranquillity and peace. Warm color and some beautiful paintings and furnitures. The music they played also goes well with the whole vibe of the pplace. Now comes the food part. The Tom Yum soup seafood is one ofthe very best I have ever tested any where. Perfect amount of sour and in every spoon of it is a delight. We also ordered seafood fried rice and basil leaf squid which were great too. Their dumplings are exquisite though the amount is four only. One more the wmount would be great for the pricepoint. Overall a unique experience. 10/10 Highly recommended for everyone.

Trouvaille and Gusto are two separate restaurants just one floor on top of the other. Tried both of them and they exceeded expectation. Trouvaille: The whole fish was smothered in a sticky and tangy red sauce that complemented the fish beautifully. The seafood rice bowl contained ample amounts of shrimp, calamari, and crabs. The pasta similarly had lots of seafood but was too sweet and peanuty for my taste. The beef noodle soup was bold and nummy, with succulent beef and al dent noodles. The calamari wrap and coconut cream soup were satisfying starters. The chocolate and nutella cheescakes were average. Gusto: A great dinner place, with the cordon bleu being the star of the show. The white sauce covering the juicy chicken along with an amazing salad and fries was heavenly and worth the price. The beef lasagna was really creamy and filled with minced beef, but definitely missing some texture, just felt mushy and too expensive. The classic poutine was surprisingly delightful, with perfectly melted cheese and flavourful beef over fries. The battered calamari was a satisfying starter. The tiramisu cake was to die for and definitely worth the price.

Trouvaille, as the name suggests is really "A lucky find". The interior is so beautiful, wood themed. The service is top-notch. If you want to spend some quality time with your family or loved one, this is the perfect place. And I can't tell you enough about the food. They have the best soup in the town, the Seafood Soup with Coconut Milk. A must-try. We also tried Ribeye steak, Red curry beef, Seafood fried rice, Mint Mojito, Apple iced tea, and Nutella cheesecake.

The environment of this place is out of the world, considering it's inside a busy place like Dhaka. The aesthetic is really beautiful. Everything is wood-themed. The staff are kind. The food was extremely delicious and fairly cheap. Seeing reviews from Google Maps, we also tried their Asian Pasta, Cheesecake and Mango tart with cappuccino. Everything was really fantastic!

Calm and cozy restaurant with a vintage atomosphere. Serving exotic sets of Asian and sea foods. They have relocated but in my opinion their previous setting was better. Foods are good but can not hold up to the standarts of the past. Drinks are also below average. So the quality and taste have deteriorated Service is good. Overall good place if you are looking for a place for family gathering and dates.

Comforting food, granted it wasn't like mind blowing exceptional food but it maintained that standard of being called good food and worth the money. Great atmosphere and great service.

Collective review and my personal take. Food was delicious. From the items we took, mushroom soup with bun was unique. Steamed fish was properly cooked. Forgot to take picture of it when it was whole xD. Fried whole fish was okay. Steamed fish arguably felt way better to us. Pasta was good. Set menu items were alright, nothing exceptional. Dessert item were not that good. I felt thy could be better. If it's expensive or not depends on the individual ppl.

Everytime I come to this place I always enjoy eating food here. Anything I order here is enjoyable, starting from something as simple as a "cream of mushroom" soup to a main dish like the "rib eye steak".

Previously dined in their bottom floor franchise Gusto. It was a great experience, Trouvaille didn't disappoint also. Had their Mushroom soup and Spicy Chicken Noodles. ✔The soup was great. Had a distinct flavor and texture in it. Though it felt less like a soup, more like a dairy product, but the taste was worthy. The amount was more than enough. ✔The noodles had so many ingredients and portions were enough for two for a snack. ✔I loved their decoration and atmosphere like their other part Gusto. Great for staying a long time and gossiping. ✘One thing I didn't like about the noodles is it had a sauce or some kind of oil that was very overpowering. It blunted the taste of the ingredients and it lingered for long while eating. Overall it's a well passed time and will visit again soon.

This is the best Thai food joint in Dhaka. Period. After trying countless places I can safely stand by my verdict. Just try their mouth watering Tom Yum soup and you'll know. If you're looking for authentic Thai taste, this is it. I don't know why this place is so under rated. Nobody knows this restaurant outside of Uttara.

Ordered vegetable noodles, cream of mashroom soup, and pan fried gyoza. The packaging was decent, and the food was fresh. However, they should focus on the taste and delicacy. I found the following issues, 1. pan fried gyoza would have tasted better without the built-in sauce. Not everyone enjoys the sauce. 2. The oyester sauce somewhat reduced the taste of the noodles. 3. Couldn't finish the cream of mashroom soup. I could smell the powdermilk, which was a turn off for me. Overall it's a 3/5 experience, though I believe they can do a lot better.

Too bland food and the Quantity is very small compared to price. Nice ambience and all but I didn't like the food much. Nit good for family gathering. You can try if you have a very rich partner who is willing to spend tons of money on food experiments.

One of the nicest place to dine with friends and family. Multiple sitting arrangements. Indoor and outdoor. Very nice ambience. The decor gives kind of Italian vibe but the menu is Asian fusion. But the portions are generous compared to the price and the food tastes fresh and really good. Service was humble and professional. Also they have a smoking zone. Definitely recommend.

As an Asian fusion cuisine, they did a good job. And the services are to the point. The employees are well trained and knows how to communicate. Recommended.
