Citybank Amex Lounge at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport is located at the first floor accessible after immigration during departure. This Lounge interior was designed by one of the reputed Architecture and interior design firm of Bangladesh, called Tanya Karim N.R Khan and Associates. They have designed both Citybank's gold and platinum lounges. This has maintained consistency between the two Lounges. As soon as I checked into the Lounge, I was able to access their free WiFi and a wide variety of breakfast items. There is phone charging facility, soft drinks and coffee. The Lounge chairs are comfy and clean. If you have some spare time after your immigration procedures, this is the place where you can relax before flight.

Great lounge in bangladesh airport. Their stuffs are better and foods are tasty. I would like to request them to arrange wide range of foods than similar types of foods.

If you are carrying the city bank credit card you can get access for 2, they serve good breakfast. I have not tried lunch or dinner. Not much crowd and if you don't have card then too you can get access by paying BDT 700 per person

A cozy lounge. Located on the 1st floor of domestic terminal holding. As per my view, this new lounge is much better compared to the previous City Bank's AMEX. Lounge. Now the fact findings, well there is no toilet inside the lounge. So you need to go out side of the lounge and a common male and female toilets available. Toilets are clean as per my experience about male toilet. I am sure, the same cleanliness also in the female toilet. Ok, enough of toilets, let me tell you about food. Limited food choices and for domestic travel, I guess it is absolutely fine. You can have a good cup of Americano coffee, if you desire to have one. Also some Sandwich and cookies as well. No soft drinks but you can have bottled water. Plenty of sitting arrangement available. They do some books to kill your waiting time and also free WIFI. Good decor is seen all over the lounge.

This is the lounge of City Bank in Doemstic Terminal. There are two lounges for Domestic Passenger. Another loinhe for MTB Card Holder. We were 4 passengers to fly for Saidpur from Dhaka Airport. We got complementary buffet for 2 persons and for rest of two persons need to buy, each price was 700 Taka. The Environment is quite good. We good few items for eating. We got Sandwich, Samusa, Muffin, Pudding, Watermellon, Oranges, Tea, Coffee, Cookies, Mum Water Bottle.

Best place for Kababs and authentic Turkish Foods! I believe this is one the underrated restaurants in Dhaka! They serve authentic Turkish foods which are so much delicious, though the foods are a bit expensive. Their decoration is also beautiful, you'll feel like you are actually in Turkey. I guess they are facing problem in their marketing, that's why people are not visiting the place that much. The place felt too quite as no one was there except us, and it was a peak time at evening. I feel like this place should get more visitors. Besides foods, they also sell Turkish iconic products like lamps and ceramics.

I recently traveled from Dhaka to Saidpur during Ramadan and used the City Amex lounge. I was very impressed with the lounge, especially the interior and the food. The lounge is located in the domestic terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. It is a spacious lounge with a modern and stylish interior. The food in the lounge is excellent. During Ramadan, the buffet is limited to a few items, but they are all delicious. There are also plenty of drinks available, including water, juice, and coffee. The service in the lounge is excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they are always happy to accommodate your requests. Overall, I had a very positive experience at the City Amex lounge. It is a great place to relax and unwind before your flight. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is traveling from Dhaka to Saidpur. The American Express Lounge located in the Domestic Airport is the only lounge available free of charge to City Bank Limited's Amex card holders. Eligible travelers can enjoy the comfortable sitting arrangements and also enjoy snacks, tea and coffee totally free. I am a regular user of the AMEX Lounge and enjoy the free facilities. There are plenty of sitting spaces and you can read newspapers, magazines and also watch TV. The toilet facilities available are also of a high standard and cleanliness. It is to be noted that their International Lounge is ofcourse of a much higher standard and also has better quality and variety of food.

Despite limited crowd presence, those without a card can gain access by paying BDT 700 per person. I am thoroughly enjoying my experience at the venue, and it is indeed worthwhile to carry a City Bank credit card for enhanced services.

In the Hazrat Shahjalal domestic airport, the is only lounge available and whatever you will get here is much better than sitting outside the lounge. Decent snacks is offered here with tea and coffee hot beverages. Seating arrangement is cozy and clean, toilet is very hygiene and wifi is free. You will also get other amenities live big screen TVs, newspapers, mobile charging dock, etc. Overall, you will enjoy your time much better than sitting outside in the airport zone. Platinum (12 times a year) and gold (5 times a year) amex card members will have free access. Other people will have to pay to avail this lounge.

This lounge shows a welcome sign for Amex Platinum Card members at the entrance. However they restrict access to those who carries Amex Platinum issues in North America. The counter people don't know exactly how to explain this to the guests. I made a phone call to America Express to find out exactly what's the deal and the agent who I spoke to was surprised. She said that as a courtesy they should honor platinum card regardless the issuing country. This is sad and bad business policy.

There is an American Express lounge in domestic terminal of hazrat shahzalal int. Airport. You need to have gold / platinum amex card for access. Primary card holders are allowed with one guest but supplementary card holders aren't allowed with any guest. Food are mainly snacks type, mainly sandwich, biscuits and tea and coffee. Comfortable area , staffs are friendly. They have two TV with local channels for news and sports updates. Overall a good place while you waiting for your flight to catch.

This is only Lounge in domestic airport. This nice and wel decorated. Wash is net & clean. But there is not much food option. They need to put more food option. Although this is in domestic airport but they can put more food option as city bank has good reputation. They need to provide some more facilties like shower option, relaxing chair(International passenger comes from abroad then they need to take domestic flight. If long transit they need this). They need to think about transit passengers also.

Good taste is average. Their seating plan is very congested. They have only two restroom which are being used by men and women both, which is really disgusting. And restrooms are really dirty. They don't have any separate wash basin for general handwash. Should not visit on Thursday, Friday and Saturday because of over crowds. People pay high price not only for food but also for the environment which is not provided there. And good environment is not only the interior but also the facilities and comfort. They need a lot of improvement.

Kebabs are delicious. But i found döner kebab was cold in my platter. Also that kebab not fulfill my test bud.

The lounge is luxurious and cozy. BUT, they need to do something about the number of items served in their buffet menu. Just sandwich, spring rolls, pudding and a few slices of fruits make the whole lounge experience seem poor. And to top that, no fizzy drinks except for tea, coffee, and mineral water? They could have at least serve coke/fanta. Also, no facility for smokers. Which is a must-have facility for people resting between long flights.

Whenever we travel abroad thru Dhaka Shah Jalal int airport we don't forget to hop in to Amex lounge. Soothing ambiance, comfortable seating, plenty of different foods, nice service - everything is there. You can avoid crowded airport hall with hard plastic chairs to wait for your filght. All you need is one American Express card to enjoy the comfort and happiness. Spouse and two children under 12 can accompany the card holder for free. Children over 12 have to pay certain amount as a entry fee. Total experience is wonderful.

Great interior, has a turkish vibe all around. Staffs are well behaved and also maintain proper hygiene. After ordering from main menu, they offered a welcome drink 'Turkish Tea' although I didn’t find any variation with local tea but the decoration of the cup was awesome. Now coming to food, I ordered 'Iskendar Kabab' first (BDT 850/+VAT), 'Baklava' (2 pieces at BDT 145/) and 'Ayran (Butter Milk)' (BDT 120/). Iskendar Kabab: It's actually made of chicken but not dry like Bangladeshi kabab, it’s actually gravy. It's served with yogurt and two type of sauces. You don’t need to order rice or nan with this item. Although I didn’t like it at all and doesn’t worth the price in any sense. Baklava: Average taste and too much sweet I think. Ayran (Butter Milk): Average taste. Didn’t meet my expectation basically.

Very much authentic Turkish cuisine. They have various types of kebab as well as pizzas at your disposal. I took the Mix platter for two which had Chicken doner, chicken shish, lamb adana, lamb shish & chicken wings. This was served with 2 slices of nan and slight plain rice. Personally I loved the lamb shish kabab. It was tender and juicy. They serves the traditional hummus (blended chick peas with olive oil), babaganous (mashed brinjal), Ezme (blended tomato). Didn't loved it that much here. If I go there for a second time, I would definitely take the lamb shish platter. Loved the aroma of it. One interesting fact is, they have a Turkish pottery and dress corner. Anyone can try the Turkish dress and buy the decorative utensils. Just loved the time we had there.

Experienced on 15 May 2022: It's not at per with other lounges in HISA. Comparatively smaller in size and interior is somewhat too formal, too boring. I've arrived in the City Amex domestic lounge at 14:10 pm. There were no food and drinks (except Cola) available in peak lunch hour! So easily you can understand they are not have enough concentration on it.

They don’t accept USA Amex Card. Surprisingly odd because I came here multiple times without any issue until today where they said it’s not complimentary.

The best option for taking rest at the airport. I use this lounge every week. You must have Amex Platinum to have unlimited access throughout the year. In gold card only 5 access per year for free. The space is quite cozy and comfortable. But unfortunately they don’t have any washroom inside. Moreover, they only provide different snacks and very limited number of dessert items. They should increase the number of food items. Food tasted quite good though.

A lounge solely for The City Bank Amex card users. You have to have either Gold or Platinum card holders to access this lounge. You will find snacks, tea-coffee, water and also free wifi.

Best service, I don’t mark that their service is only for city bank cardholders, I didn’t have that but they provided me their nice food and service. Thanks a lot all staff working there.🤓

The lounge is really nice. Way nicer than it used to be. I haven't been to the other lounges so I can't compare between them. But this is very nice.

Finally a nice environment and cozy place to unwind your stress , the food and drinks were average but too happy to finally find a lounge in domestic wing .so wont complain the staff were great and the coffe was good too.

This lounge is especially for the American Express amex card holder, they can enjoy some extra benefits and take food and drinks at reduced price. Other airline passengers can take food and drinks also but with regular prices. Atmosphere are as usual like other airports lounge but there are no free space for airport passengers. They should have buy something to stay at this lounge.

Excellent place to relax before journey and watch airplane's traffic. Very pleasant food quality and amount. Highly recommended
