Bar with low price and average quality. Staffs are well behaved. You have to go through the underground lift. Located in 6th floor of Prince Plaza. Price per peg is lower than any other bars in Dhaka. I would recommend not to try absolute vodka here. Both male and females are allowed to enter. One thing to note, there is always a music playing from evening.

This is a Bangladeshi mixologis'ts review of Mirpur’s first proper bar, Thai Recreation Club. This was previously known as the Fu-Wang bar of Mirpur 12 which was under construction since 2017. The bar is hands down the best one in Dhaka right now with pool tables, 4 large projection screens, 100+ international class seating arrangement, a full fledged gym and more. It has an absurd strict formal dress code of no shorts/cargo/three quarters and no flip flops/sandles. Full pants and proper shoes are MUST to get entrance. Without this one single CON everything else about the bar is complete PRO. From the management staff, bouncers and waiters, everyone is more than helpful and well behaved. Any Bangladeshi Male of legal drinking age who respect the dress code is allowed to buy from here or sit and drink. A photo ID copy (NID/Passport/Student) is required to keep on you. Only a Bangladeshi female of legal drinking age who respects the dress code, has a VALID drinking permit, and photo ID copy is allowed entry. Any male or female foreign national with foreign passports are welcomed to buy or sit and drink. Drinks are reasonable and not tampered like DPL or Regency. This bar is situated on the level 6 inside the Sultan Market where the Prince Bazar (Mirpur 12 branch) is. But you have to go into the basement of the Prince bazar building to access the customized private lift which leads to the highly secured bar. You have to check in your bags with tokens in the basement gate, go to the private lift, take another security check on level 6, which requires a phone call check and body check but everything is very helpful and welcoming. Good place. Huge space. Not that crowded. They serve only Foreign. Only Hunter was available from the beer section. However, I would like to go there once again if the price was low. It's too pricey. They cost 450/- per peg for a regular whiskey and 700 for chivas regal. Now I'm fully broke T.T
