Update
6.0:
Recently,
the
admin
had
to
address
a
recurring
issue
by
posting
notices
on
all
lockers,
urging
members
not
to
take
the
locker
keys
home
with
them.
It
should
be
noted
that
this
rule
is
not
new;
it
is
explicitly
communicated
during
the
gym
enrollment
process.
However,
there
exists
a
subset
of
members
who
seem
to
believe
that
the
rules
do
not
apply
to
them,
perpetuating
this
behavior.
Picture
a
Venn
diagram
consisting
of
three
circles.
The
first
circle
represents
individuals
who
take
locker
keys
home,
the
second
circle
represents
members
who
wear
outside
sneakers
inside
the
gym
and
on
the
gym
floor,
and
the
third
circle
represents
people
who
either
do
not
bring
a
towel
or
bring
one
but
do
not
use
it
while
using
the
machines.
There
is
a
particular
subset
of
members
situated
squarely
in
the
intersection
of
all
three
circles,
consistently
diminishing
the
welcoming
atmosphere
of
the
gym.
Regrettably,
the
gym's
cleanliness
has
deteriorated
over
time.
While
an
increase
in
foot
traffic
due
to
new
memberships
plays
a
role,
the
primary
reason
is
the
increasing
practice
of
wearing
outside
sneakers
within
the
facility.
Although
the
gym
appears
relatively
clean
in
the
early
morning
hours,
the
situation
progressively
worsens,
especially
after
5:00
PM.
I
believe
the
sign
that
is
most
commonly
misunderstood
in
the
gym
is
"Please
put
the
weight
back
after
using
it."
Perhaps
we
should
consider
translating
the
sign
into
Bangla,
but
it
is
uncertain
whether
that
would
have
any
impact.
With
approximately
6,500
languages
spoken
worldwide,
posting
the
sign
in
all
of
them
would
likely
not
make
a
difference.
It
is
not
the
responsibility
of
the
trainers,
spotters,
or
cleaning
staff
to
ensure
weights
are
returned
to
its
rightful
place.
If
you
are
capable
of
lifting
a
weight
for
your
workout,
it
is
reasonable
to
expect
that
you
can
also
put
it
back
in
its
proper
place.
I
have
never
encountered
a
gym
where
members
consistently
leave
their
weights
scattered
around
or
fail
to
re-rack
them
to
this
extent.
What
is
worse
is
when
new
members
join,
they
initially
follow
the
rule,
and
when
they
see
others
aren't
doing,
they
start
doing
the
same
thing.
It
is
puzzling
why
others
find
it
difficult
to
follow
basic
gym
etiquette
when
the
owner
himself
consistently
adheres
to
these
simple
rules.
It
would
be
beneficial
for
the
owner
to
emphasize
or
reemphasize
these
gym
etiquettes
at
the
end
of
his
introductory
gym
tour
presentation.
Implementing
a
"Wall
of
Shame"
might
prove
effective.
Given
that
the
gym
is
equipped
with
CCTV
cameras,
the
staff
could
review
the
footage
at
the
end
of
each
week,
capturing
screenshots
of
members
who
display
a
lack
of
basic
gym
etiquette,
and
display
their
pictures.

new
somewhat
fancy
water
cooler!!!!
(
You
gotta
learn
to
appreciate
the
lil
things
in
life)
-----
Update
3.0:
New
floor
is
only
open
when
the
7th
floor
is
overcrowded
😔
or
they
have
yoga/Zumba
classes.
-----
Update
2.0:
The
new
part
is
only
open
when
the
7th
floor
is
getting
too
crowded
Update:
They
opened
up
the
2nd
part
of
the
gym
on
the
12th
floor!
Some
new
equipments
have
been
added.
Mostly
for
chest
and
shoulders.
I
really
wish
they
added
a
Preacher
curl
machine.
But
liking
the
new
chest
machines!
-----
Dare
I
say....it
was
INSPIR(e)ing!
Bazinga!!
But
in
all
seriousness,
it
seems
like
the
place
is
staffed
with
knowledgeable
individuals,
high
quality
equipments
and
very
clean
environment.
Only
issue
is
space.
It's
very
"cozy".
They
told
us
that
they
are
in
the
process
of
expending
to
another
floor,
but
that
will
take
a
while.
Probably
the
best
gym
in
Dhanmondi.
