Total cost: 1300 Tk. We went there to have a light meal, just tandoori chicken and naan, but the food was so good that we ordered more. The Hyderabadi biriyani was so delicious and flavorful, accompanied by two mutton pieces and a boiled egg. The golab jamun was soft, fluffy, and divine!

I never reviewed them before, but ate their Nihari many times. Today I had my lunch there. I ordered Doi Fuchka, Hydrabadi Biriyani, Handi Special Faluda and Green Salad. The Biriyani was too spicy. They added red Chili powder which made it red in colour and spicy in taste. The Fuchka and Faluda were the best.

Tried their set menu and jeera Pani. Food was average. Got a separate smoking zone. The price was reasonable.

Handi Gulshan was a great experience. There are indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. The place is beautifully decorated. It is spacious, and a good place for a get together. We ordered daal makhani, chicken hariyali kebab, chicken tikka, chicken tawa, mutton rogan josh, plain polao, rumali ruti, garlic naan, haidarabadi mutton biryani and falooda. All the items tasted great. It is a great place for mughlai food, but they also offer Chinese food and cafe items. The service was good. The price felt a bit high, but the overall experience was worth it. There are options to pay in cash and card. It was a really good experience.

Although it is a renowned restaurant at Dhaka city, this is our first visit. The restaurant is well decorated, clean and spacious. But we had to change our seat due to water leackage from air cooling system over our selected table. The Loitta fish fry was fresh and crispy, with fish bones inside though. The Hyderabadi biriyani was excellent. The chicken korma was average but taste was good. The faluda was superb with perfect blend of fruits and other ingredients with perfect sweetness. The washroom was clean, service was good. Overall a nice place to spend with family and friends.

Hyderabadi biriyani is quite good. Though i dont know the actual hyderabadi biriyani tastes.but in comparison to khazana- almost equal. But less price. Environments are bit crowdy in office time and evening. To enjoy you have to come in around 6-8 pm. Also can enjoy cha khai, chap khai opposite side of the road.

The gulshan branch of Handi is far ahead in beauty. But like the other branches, food quality of Handi is deteriorating. I usually choose Platter A if I go there.

Food was delicious 😋 We are taking Chicken Biriyani, Haydarabadi Biriyani, Chicken Butter Masala, Vegetables (May be Alu Batura), Garlic Nan, Lime Juice, Faluda (Mango and Vanilla), Cashew nut Salad, BBQ Koral fish and some Appetizers. I didn't like the test of Haydarabadi Biriyani. Without this all food tastes great 👍

I visited this restaurant with my colleagues. It’s a nice place to eat lunch / dinner with friends, colleagues & family members. The food was tasty & reasonably priced. The biryani platter was their best deal. The kebabs and chicken tandoori were also soft and not at all dry. The staff was well mannered and the service was appreciable. The wooden walls and the overall interior will give you a soothing environment.

Foods are great.. And the location is very near to Both Gulshan 1 and 2. You can arrange birthday parties, kitty parties and even wedding...

Their Gulshan 2 outlet interior was really good. Air-conditioning, chair table everything was neat and clean. If I mention about their food quality, then should say - Soup, cashewnut was good. However, Their main dish, Hydrabadi Biriyani, had no Alu bokhara ( dry plum), no potato , and no Salad was provided. Meanwhile the main ingredient rice and mutton was delicious. I asked for Borhani( traditional drink good for digestion too), but they had only Jira pani. I wish they will recover these issues.

Enjoyed my late lunch here - menu contains a wide variety of Indian and Thai food. I tried a few non-veg main courses along with a variety of paratha, nun bread. Clean, comfortable and prompt service. Price is well balanced. Now comes dessert - Kulfi was average, Faluda was mainly let down by the Ice cream scoop. Overall I recommend highly if you want Indian food at a decent price.

If you want to have authentic Indian food I will not suggest this place. We had their signature handi biryani. It tasted like the biryani in Star Kebab, if anything it tasted worse than the one in Star.. Their vegetable dopiyaza tastes like the veggie curry you find in your elakar hotel. Went there with family to order Hyderabadi biryani and their house special salad. We ordered four regular portions of biryani; the rice was enough for one person and came with a boiled egg and two pieces of mutton. The reason behind four stars is that instead of giving complete solid pieces, some of the meat was just entirely fat. This left them uneatable and wasted. The second thing is that there were small pieces of broken bone in the rice which can be dangerous if swallowed by accident. The prices were reasonable but the food quality could be better. The service was good and the food was delivered quickly; the ambience was good for a family meal. I will go one more time to try their chicken biryani, which I have a feeling is likely to be better.
