A different kind of fusion environment is felt from the entrance. Located on the 2nd floor of the building. Lift and stairs both are available. No separate kids zone or smoking zone. The place is well designed for family sitting or small business meetings. The washroom is not large but well neat and clean. Reservation is not required for office days. But for large groups of programs or on the weekend, you need to reserve first. The food was too delicious but the price is quite expensive & the quantity is not good enough. Soft drinks and dessert are also presented in their menu. The behavior of the staff is up to the mark. Cash and card both are acceptable.

Very beautiful place, if you want to take someone out for lunch or dinner than I think this is one of those place. Food is good and they serve it exquisitely. We tried their duck, prawn, chicken and all was wow. Relaxing atmosphere, slow music and amazing food, also if yoi want to have a private cabin for your group the thats is available. What else one need to make the moment perfect !

If you want to experience authentic Chinese cuisine, Hongbao is the right place! The Chinese chefs prepare the delicious dishes with much care to be served to the content customers. The decor is gorgeous, the environment is fancy, the seating arrangement is cozy, the service is prompt and professional. It's expensive, but it's worth the experience.

The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and the service is top notch. The plating truly says fine dining. Food is very good but not out of the world and some good restaurants in Dhaka offer similar quality food. The price is high. If only food taste is considered, price is not justified. However, if you add in the ambience, service and beautiful plating, then the price makes sense. We tried the following: 1. Assorted dumplings: this was good and I recommend it. We got 8 single different dumplings and all tasted good, especially with the chilli sauce they have. For the price, I would expect more number of dumplings. 2. Crispy prawn Cheung fun: this was also good. The sweet soya sauce and the chilly made it really stand out. 3. Hand pulled lo mein : don't know if I spelled it right. It had chicken, beef and prawn. It was really good in my opinion. My partner did not like it much. It was perfect in quantity. 3 people can have it easily and we were just 2 4. Coconut semifreddo: the coconut sorbet is fantastic so are the lemon and milk custards/sauce. However the mousse like semifreddo was too much in quantity and a little boring. The mint and lemon added good flavor along with vanilla but I think the coconut flavor was missing. If I were to think this dish as perfect, I would want more of the sorbet and less of the semifreddo and I would prefer more refreshing and coconut flavor in it. The brown part made it feel like you are having coconut due to its texture. I think it was a clever and nice touch. I had very high expectation from this dish

We three friends went there to celebrate Birthday 🎂 but unfortunately food taste was not that much up to the mark! But their hospitality and service was good 👍🏻.

this place is good for fancy interior and a proper fine dine experience but the problem is the food is not even close to real chinese food. So you'll be a bit disappointed if you are there just for the food only. other than that the place is cool for hangouts and dates as well.

Really nice ambience with great decor and tasty food. Located on the 1st floor, this place was immediately inviting, great vibes and a Chinese authenticity feel, decor was modern yet tastefully Oriental, the service was great and the waiters very accommodating. The food was tasty and had the right spices, the price was a little high, but the rest made up for it. All in all a great night out with the family, but could also be a great dating spot!

Food quality is just amazing. From the appetizers to the dessert everything tasted incredible. Ambience is very very good and the staffs are well trained. But the price is very very high. Also the serving quantity is below par. But quality is very good and would come back again.

Amazing fine dining experience in Gulshan. The dory fish is the best fish item I've ever had in Dhaka, it's a must try. The drinks are amazing and the xiaolongbao is really good too. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is very refined and the music is trendy.

Best food you'll ever taste in Dhaka. Staff there are also very cordial and you'll feel homely there. It's one of the top notch restaurants in the country, I would say. Yes, prices are a bit hefty but it's worth the great taste that you'll have.

I’ve been here couple of times so far and have been impressed each time. The food is very delicious and you can taste the difference in the ingredients and culinary skills compared to other similar places. The staff were very courteous on both our visits and suggested great additions to our order. It’s pricey but that’s justifiable for the quality of food and service.

Best fine dining experience so far in Dhaka. Great service and delicious food. Nice ambiance as well. Stand out of the food was the peppercorn prawn. Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings and crispy prawn Cheung fun were great as well. Don't skip dessert either.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. Some of their dishes were amazing, while the others left me kinda disappointed. Service was great though. This place is a little pricey as well. Dishes I recommend are- gold tobiko prawn dumpling, steamed cheung fun and steamed assam grouper. Their dessert disappointed me even though the options seemed great. It just didn’t taste as good as it sounded.

Hongbao is a very good place to eat! The food is amazing, especially the dessert. The service was good, but we had to call the waiters, they didn't ask for us. The atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful which we liked. Overall, the place is a very good (and expensive) place to eat.

Okay okay place. Compared to price food is not up to that mark. There were mosquitoes when we visited. Dumplings were bland, sadly.

Dine in for 2. First time having an excellent meal in Dhaka. Stumbled onto this gems by accident. Located right next to the main road, the building didnt look so inviting but went to see the menu and the place and it wow-ed us. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The place was very clean with modern decors and soothing lighting. We wanted duck but "not available". The waiter was pushing us to order some fish/seafood dishes but we were not interested. Just wanted a simple comfort meal. The dishes we had though was on point, just the claypot was a bit salty (good to eat with rice). Pretty happy and satisfied with this place. Would recommend it, good for family/business dinner.

It was an exquisitely wonderful experience. The food was great, the service was great, the atmosphere was relaxing. Their ice cream from Nolen Gur just melted my heart. We'd definitely come back here again to try some new dishes. Good Luck.

I had an amazing experience with my family at this place. The ambiance is top-tier and the service provided by the staff was excellent. Every item we ordered was satisfying, especially the hakka-style chicken and tenderloin beef. Although the prices are a bit high, I found the whole experience to be well worth it. I will definitely visit again.

Food tastes good but unnecessarily expensive. You can have a decent and similar meal elsewhere for a lot less. But tastes great, won't complain about that. Nice atmosphere inside but not very well lit. Service is good.

Well, its quite an upscale place. You get a really cool ambience and experience fine dining with soothing music. All of their staffs are really well-behaved and even they have staffs for the washroom always stand by. You might need a reservation beforehand Now-I tried a few of their items, Royal soup of the goji sea- with lots of mushrooms and black fungus,and loaded with sea foods.taste was earthy..bit different taste Crunchy fried mushroom with lemongrass- they were okay. Nothing hyped Assorted dim sum basket-they were of mixed taste.but the dim sum wrap was really thin and sticky.but tastes good. Earth's wild claypot-this was the best dish. Loaded with umami and garlic flavor. Hand pulled lo mein- they were good Chicken fried rice- usual taste Chocolate raspberry sphere- it was really tasty Szechuan pepper corn-they were fine

Good to gather over there. Food quality and quantity is so so (not worthy compared to price). The atmosphere is nice. They do not serve any hard drinks but if you carry them they will serve.

Fine dining place. You need a reservation to dine in here. Their chef is experimental which is something rare in Dhaka. I loved their food, ambience and customer services. 💯 Will recommend for dates, family dinner and office outings.

This is by far the most delicious food I have eaten in Bangladesh. For my first starter I had the Royal Soup of the Goji Sea. Full of vibrant flavors, and pieces of scallops, prawns and wild black mushrooms and then had the Prawn Har Gow Dumplings, absolutely delicious., since I love noodles, I tried the Hand Pulled Lo Mein with shrimp, very nice, especially with the crisp bean sprouts and spring onions, and finally for my main course, I had the Steamed Assam Grouper...it was very moist with a hint of lemon grass..The restaurant has a peaceful and relaxing ambiance...and for the service, it was unbelievable, my waitress (ETI) was extremely knowledgeable, polite and courteous and charming...I am really looking forward to dining here again..5 *****

Loved the interior and restaurant staff behaviour is really good. Loved it. But if you come here to have a great food this is not the place for you. Food taste is ok which you can find in regular restaurant but presentation is outstanding.
