Great hideout from the hospital! Used to bring my mum here in here wheelchair from St Vincents and they were so accommodating. She ordered the fish and chips and I ordered the fish special. Both dishes were wonderful. We also had sticky toffee pudding and a 99 ice cream for dessert! Great service and a good price for the quality. I am just meeting a friend for coffee this time. The outdoor area gets great sun in the afternoon/evening especially for late October. Will come again! 10/10

Great pub to go to for a Sunday roast- delicious beef with all the trimmings (only thing missing was a Yorkshire pudding) .house crumble to die for. Very friendly front of house and I’d even say it’s got the friendliest staff in Dublin. Great place if you have children or babies and very accommodating with anything you need. Good pub if you just want a beer and burger and to watch the football :)

Got the simple things right from the get go. No waiting for a table, server looked after us really well and was very attentive. Food was pub grub but of a good standard with ample portions. Free craft beer for Father's Day. Reasonably priced. You could do a lot worse. Will be back!

Soo delicious! The chicken was crunchy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside. Seasoning was just right, not too much and not to little. Perfection. Chips were delicious, crunchy on the outside but not too hard. Salted gently with freshly grinded sea salt (rock salt anyways). Slaw.. I wouldn't try to start guesing what was in there in terms of spices, but it was again a delight. I wouldn't normally take home any leftovers, but as the portions are big (at least for me) and it was so good, I couldn't resist, and I finished it later at home. It was really good. Staff also very friendly and helpful. Excellent service and food. My colleagues had some types of pasta, someone had fish cake and some other dishes. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. Nice atmosphere and vibe inside. Left the tip off course as well deserved for great service and great food.

We can't wait to travel back and eat here again. The food was amazing! As an American with Celiacs it was so refreshing to travel in Ireland. Never once did I get sick. The food was so yummy at the Merrion we went back often. The food was fresh, well seasoned, and all Celiac friendly. Thank you to all the staff at the Merrion Inn for making us feel so welcomed!

Lovely place for a quiet pint. I had 1 or 2 visits here while I was a guest in St Vincent's University Hospital. Very friendly and understanding staff. Wheelchair accessible toilets, nice food and a creamy pint. Busy spot but not uncomfortably busy. Nice mix of people.

We popped in here for a Sunday dinner with our toddler on the recommendation of a friend. The staff, lead by Paul were incredibly friendly and accommodation. Good food and good prices. Perfect place for bringing a small family. We returned on a regular basis and even after our second child arrived. The staff would recognise us and always have a friendly word. Would highly recommend this place. We've moved to the west so no longer close enough to visit 😔

Just amazing food, atmosphere, service!! This was our first time here, but certainly not the last time. We were with a group of 8 and everything/every order went just smooth with allergie wishes etc. Thank you so much!

We attended a party celebration there. The food was good and so was the service. The decorations were up to the mark as well.
