My mum has stayed here, I cannot praise the hospital and the staff enough. It is definitely one of the most cleanest hospitals I have ever seen in Ireland. Is very easy to get to from the city centre as there a bus stop just a few metres from the entrance.

My 94-year old aunt spent over a month here following an op to replace her hip. She said all the staff on Vernon Ward were 'exceptionally kind'. Whenever I rang (usually daily), the nurses, doctors and physios could not have been more helpful, informative and patient, & seemed highly experienced & knowledgeable. My aunt went from being weak & fragile, underweight, lacking in mobility, orientation & strength, to a full discharge home, walking (with a 'rollator') and semi-independence (with home care helpers). I can't commend Clontarf enough for anyone lucky enough to get here.

I was referred to clontarf hospital after having knee surgery at cappagh hospital and I must say the treatment I have been given from doctors, nurses, to care assistant has been amazing. There is nothing too big a ask from anyone, the doctors, nurses and care assistant in the Vernon ward especially have showed so much kindness and care towards me. Caroline Daly my physio has been fantastic she's helped me gain my confidence to push myself further and each day I'm getting stronger and stronger. I'll be forever grateful to all in staff in the Vernon ward. Thanks again , Debra borthwick

The care l receive is amazing. Every person is so caring. The lads in kitchen who do the catering are really working hard to provide healthy food. Everything is cooked from scratch. Amazing. No other hospital does that and they are lovely pleasant lot to chat to. Thanks to one and all. God bless you

The most professional, caring, hygienic rehabilitation hospital one could wish for. The one-to-one attention from the fantastic staff coupled with the 5 star food was amazing. Arriving quite incapacitated 2 weeks ago and with the daily regimen of physiotherapy and medical attention, I'm now home living independently and confidently, knowing I will be back to full capacity within weeks (once I maintain my exercise routine). I highly recommend Clontarf Orthopedic Hospital.

My mother is currently a patient at Clontarf Hospital. I live abroad and have to depend on reports from afar. I cannot thank the Doctors, Nurses, Carers and all Staff enough for the kindness and care they are showing my mother. I know the healthcare system is overworked, but the genuine care and kindness being shown to my mother is amazing. Knowing she is in such good hands is a great comfort. Thank you to all at Clontarf Hospital

😠 This is a circus, not a hospital. I have been waiting for Emergency over 18 hours and in this circus I can only give a pill against pain. They served about 50 people on front of me. Some guy was making a joint in the waiting room when they called him he refused to go. In addition, instead of sec...

😠 The lowest point of my life, the rock bottom. You would get better care in a medical war tent during WW2 than E&A in today's Ireland. Even if the doctors and nurses are doing their best, Beaumont Accident & Emergency is built and staffed to accommodate maybe 20 patients but it is overrun with 200. N...

😠 i would not recommend this hospital to anyone. if you're not pregnant you will be rushed out the door and your pain will absolutely not be taken seriously. first things first, in the emergency room, they allowed the muslim women to have their entire extended families with them. now i understand tha...

Waited 8.5h from 20:00-04:30 and we were 2nd in line the all time, we decided to leave and bring baby to professional doctor, better pay but your chil...

😠 Disgraceful reception service. I came in for an appointment at 8:00am being 8 months pregnant and was told at the door that they don't have my booking, only to find my name later on their list. I proceeded to the A&E reception and the reception desks were closed with no one to check patients in. The...
