Went with my kids for december last year , the rooms were always kept clean, friendly staff and the buffet style food is amazing the kids enjoyed it more...

Toilet is not properly clean it even has a smell, the carpet is not properly cleaned and has a smell too, no fridge to put in our drinks, no microwave, a very loud noise from one of the rooms which carried on until you’re used to it, it felt like I was booked in a hostel full of high school students, didn’t get a peaceful sleep at all, I missed my house so much, I feel like I wasted my money, I wish I could have booked somewhere else. Certainly never ever coming back. Very poor.

Nice view. Friendly staff and really comfortable beds! Many hotels often have cheap uncomfortable beds. But in these beds I slept like a baby.

The room was relatively nice, quiet and clean with a beautiful view which we have been longing for. Just hoped there was proper crockery, otherwise we had a nice stay.

Not worth the price. Reception wonderful, but room disappointing. Aircon out of order. Toilet walls not clean. Mattress saggy, bedding worn but clean. Great shower. View of the ocean fantastic, just don't look down at green pool and empty sealant containers on roofs below. So sad. This must have been a jewel in its day.

Checked in, given a room key to a room that was already occupied. Got another room. It was OK but the shower head was missing. A very loud party in one of the other rooms that carried on until 2am meant not much sleep was had before the alarm went off at 4am to get ready for a full day's work. Certainly won't be back and don't recommend the place at all.

Have been using it over the covid virus era. Maintained a good standard.

No wifi. Air-conditioning doesn't work. Shower was blocked. 1 iron for the entire building. No refill of coffee and sugar sachets, you go down to reception to get them yourself. Service sucks, asked the receptionist for an adapter and she told me she'd call back. Waited the entire evening for a nonexistent call. Beautiful views from the window

I was booked in the lodge/b&b BT I had to stay over the hotel.due to me coming late to book in ... Ever since Covid I don't want to sleep at a hotel because it's movement of alot of people plus I must go eat dinner and breakfast at the same time every one is eating... I also found out even if I had stayed at the BnB I still had to eat dinner and breakfast at the hotel. It's will be my last stay because I prefer my privacy and also want to eat when I want to even I had received a voucher to go by food somewhere else and eat in my room. I give a two star just because the reception who helped me knows about customer service BT further I'm not a satisfied guest. Sorry I understand how things are done there but it's a no from my side. Rooms can do with a bit of upgrading. Dark, curtains torn, some lights and phone not working. So didn't report main bedroom lights not working. Just endured.

Okay, firstly the lady at the reception was great. She greeted us with a friendly smile and helped us with the same energy. We got our room, it was neat and tidy, very clean. But, we noticed that there is no fridge (we had brought wine with us) and there was no microwave, like in this modern day. There's enough space for a microwave and a bar fridge, they should start investing in those. And the other thing was they should start investing in shower mats and curtains. After taking a shower the floor is always wet. Oh and a TV stand please, or Hang it on the wall, it will make the room more fashionable. Otherwise, it's a great 👍place to stay, great view, sunrise in the morning, the beach and all. And they've got safe parking. But please, do something about the fridge, you only have them on the 8th floor, which is what I don't understand. Had a nice stay!🙂

Worst service ever, Osner is just there because of it's history and the sea view, otherwise their rooms are soo boring with not much facilities such as the microwave, iron etc, you have to move from your room to their 1st floor if you need any of those facilities... They didn't even change a blanket when we arrived it smelled very horrible

We were the only hotel today on 10 October 2021 in the beach front of East London without electricity and without explanation

The Hotel has the making of a excellent hotel in a perfect location with great sea views but has sadly has being neglected over time. Pool was bottle green with plastic bags floating in it, glass hotel "star rating" sign at main entrance door had not being cleaned in at least a year and was covered in moss. Room had suffered water damage and carpets smelt very badly of damp. Parking lot at entrance and at rear had papers blowing around. Hand sanitizer dispensers in both lifts were empty. Do not recommend the hotel.

Probably wont easily get a better view of the ocean, with a large window open you can enjoy the fresh ocean breeze and clearly hear the waves. Out of this world sunrise over the ocean aswell as fullmoon viewing over the ocean

The hotel supervisor of the day shift, Sihle, attended to us well and we were allocated rooms that were super clean and the hotel always adhering strictly to covid regulations at all times. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

Function rooms are large staff are well prepared for groups .Great equipment and sound in conferenxe rooms .Buffet lunch was delicious . Everything was on time , like clockwork #buffalocitytourism

They gave our room to someone else then gave us a room with triple room with three single beds as a couple. The hotel was not worth the price.They should just call it a bnb wethu imbi and it's not worth it

Safety is an issue, plus parking on the front especially more safe at the back something needs to be done with addition of guards on patrol or saps. People get mugged taking works early morning or late

View is awesome. Noise level inside the hotel terrible. I have to go out in the passage early hours of the morning to tell people to be quiet. People slam doors and shout and scream inside the hotel It is like a train station - we got no sleep at all

Outstanding location with rooms over looking the beech. Older hotel, but with a hip early 70's Stanley Kubrick vibe (in a good way). Clean hitel with curtious staff.

Toilet was filthy. No wifi connection the whole time we were there. They should use pillow and mattress covers under pillow cases and sheets to keep them clean because they are soo dirty. I had to put something on the pillow to be comfortable to sleep on it. Location and view of the ocean is the only thing great about the hotel

I went there for an awards ceremony. Could not fault the venue, food or anything within. Enjoyed myself. Got to my ca which was parked in the street to find that someone had stolen the badge off the rear of my car. Dampened the occasion.

False advertising .. the wifi did not connect during our entire stay and the air-condition does not work.. found numerous roaches aswell

No aircon... I went to ask tv remote as there was a samsung remote for a sinotec tv in the room, never got the remote and tv does not work without remote... Shower drain was blocked...

Loved it. Although the WiFi services were nit available fir the duration of my stay.

The wifi connection was on and off the whole time,the telephone in the room was not functioning, had to use my cellphone to contact the front desk, we requested a kettle in the room and a second bath towel as we had booked as a couple and we got them hours after the request.I will never ever set foot at this hotel again nor recommend it to anyone. Very very poor service.

Poor receptionists, she has no customer orientation. Room was not clean, toilet had stains of pee. Cups were not washed and the tea spoons had stains indicating they have been used before. Very bad!

Staff is friendly upon checking in. It was a lovely surprise to find out there was a R700 per night special as opposed to the normal rate of R880 (walk-in). The rooms are very spacious and clean, perfect for a family of 3. All rooms are sea-facing with a great view and sounds of the ocean. However, when the TV wasn't working properly we had to call on reception a couple of times for them to resolve the issue. The drainage in the shower and basin was also a bit blocked. Overall a good experience.

Wifi is given per day not for the duration of your stay. I couldn't connect inside the room while on bed, had to go to the door by the corridor. As a result I didn't use the wifi.

Bad, same meals no change. I talked to the staff that I have a problem with my stomach and I suspect a bile. So I asked them to bring them in my room and they have refused to do so. The management needs to sort that out. Its fine they cannot have refrigerator or microwaves but they need to allow people to bring or asked them to deliver food in their rooms.

No fridge in room and air-conditioning not working. Meals ridiculously expensive. Hotel situated in rather dodgy area, but all that said, room was tidy, clean and well priced.

Booked 7 weeks before the check in date,called the hotel the day before the check in date and confirmed the booking. Only to be told on checking-in that the hotel is full. The staff was very rude and not even apologetic about the situation. It was the second time experiencing such bad service from osner hotel a E.L

That place is a mess. I had anxiety the entire stay. I was travelling with kids and it's just not friendly for them especially cleanliness. Sinks are blocked.
