Got here the moment it opened and it there was already loads of people inside which was a good sign, great value and flavourful.

One of the best and most authentic Italian restaurants that I have been to in the UK. The quality of the food is top class. We actually went for lunch and then ended up going back for dinner. They cater very well for gluten free needs as well.

I was hoping from the menu that a gluten free, vegan pizza might have been possible, but the gluten free pizza was not vegan, so with my allergies I couldn't have that. However, I ordered a mixed salad for a starter and the vegetarian pasta sauce on gluten free pasta and they were both absolutely gorgeous! I would have found it a little easier to order if there had been an indication of allergens within the pasta sauces themselves, so I could have seen straight away which ones would have been ok. I was delighted with my food though - it tasted wonderful and looked beautiful. Plus, for people who need just gluten free, or just vegan, having those dedicated pages on the menu is great. Everyone's food looked delicious (I was in a large group) and we had a lovely evening. I would recommend this restaurant and I will be pleased to go again.

Best Italian restaurant in Eastbourne. I understood why they recorded top numbers reviews and star ratings. Price is super reasonable and foods are amazing. Staffs are all gentle and careful.

First of all. Many thanks for excellent service! Hats off! Most friendly staff and lots of smiles. We are most thankful for your kindness. But when it comes to the food it’s just ok. The pizza is nothing but ok. And the salmon it’s a bit way too overcooked. But for the price you pay. You may say it’s ok. And that’s ok. The wine was by the way great with the ok pizza ;-) Thanks for the visit.

The pasta (Tortelloni Al Funghi) was out of this world, absolutely recommended! The service was very attentive and friendly, overall we had a lovely experience.

Service is a bit chaotic, with several waiters askung you the same things. Pizzas are quiet generous, pasta would need an extra pinch of salt. Coffee could be better -we are talking about an Italian restaurant-, since I've had better coffee in Skylark, for instance.

Italian experience, many of the waiters are Italians, many vegan options and a separate vegan menu. We had the rocket and walnuts pizza, mushrooms risotto and the chocolate tart, don’t miss it while in Eastbourne!

Possibly the nicest Italian restaurant I've eaten in. It's a bold statement but seriously. It's banging! The staff were very attentive even though I walked in just gone 9! Very comical and charming. Made the atmosphere even better. I had the penne alla pizzaiola. Basically, pasta, beef fillet strips and a beautiful pizza style sauce. Tasted awesome and the beef tasted as though it was fresh. The restaurant also has pictures inside of the famous people that have eaten here & the reviews speak for themselves. Thank you, keep up the good work and I will certainly return!

Always a warm welcome. Been visiting since my late husband took me there on our first date. Consistently brilliant food and service over the years. I always recommend it to all my friends when they go to Eastbourne.

We have tried a few Italian restaurants in Eastbourne, they were all pretty decent. But this one was better overall. Its spacious with plenty of seating areas and they have an open kitchen area too. Food was really nice. Waiters were prompt.

Last minute booking as told this is the best Italian in little Italy Eastbourne. Not the best venue for intimate and relaxing dining out as it's extremely close to other diners, extremely popular. Food is definitely authentic Italian and worth the taste.

Me and my friend visited here at lunchtime, food was very tasty and well worth the money. I find there is a few issues at this restaurant that could be and should be addressed. I have visited here before at night time and was hoping the atmosphere would have improved during the day, but it feels like your being rushed, from the time you arrive, you are fast walked to your table, made to make a quick drinks choice and then before your drinks arrive you have 1 to 2 people coming and trying to take a food order. The tables are quite close together, to the point where your chair is touching another persons chair with the back of yours, even though I’m not of a large size I still find it a problem.

Excellent quality of food and portion sizes, the sea bass was amazing. I had the two course set menu which was a really good price so great for midweek meals out ! I will 100% be back again & this is a place I would happily eat alone 😁

I visited here on a Saturday evening after a Google search for Italian restaurants, and it was buzzing. I'm very glad that we'd already booked a table. The restaurant was much bigger than I'd expected but there was a huge number of waiting staff and we were served quickly, despite it being so busy. The food was excellent. We both had three courses and a bottle of wine and enjoyed it all. The staff were efficient and friendly. I'd highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely eat there again.

My second visit & it didn’t disappoint, quick service, nice food & most importantly friendly staff. I was there just before their close time but they welcomed me in & made sure my order gets to the kitchen quickly, very nice.

Excellent Italian recipes that never faulter. I went over 19 years ago and still as delightful. Recommend you book! Lasagne, schnitzel and gnocchi all went down a treat! Great with family and or friends. Quick service and a lovely clean atmosphere.

Excellent venue for lunch. 3 course set menu great value - £17, wine reasonable @£5 glass. Food came quickly and staff were very attentive. Food very tasty, good choice for a set menu. Would recommend the venue.

There’s a reason it’s always busy no matter what day of the week: it’s delicious, staffs great, excellent value for money and it never disappoints.

I had a set of two dishes, a starter and a main. I love fish and seafood, so the choice was rather an obvious one :-) Both dishes were fabolous, and at a very reasonable price. The tomato sauce was a pure poetry! I could hardly stop myself from licking the plate! The restaurant has nice ambient and great staff. I really appreciate it that nobody interrupted me when I was enjoying food to ask "is everything ok" - I hate it when they do it in the middle of a meal. I can definitely recommend Pomodoro e Mozzarella!
