👍👍 Me and my US Navy buddy will forever be grateful to the gallant lifeguard who saved our lives by whistling us out of the water on the only day we had during our stay without any kind of flag being out. We didn't even clear the pier thingy that was there, called us back from about half way. I wish I... People often mention beach,

It's a good beach and well patrolled by lifeguards but they don't allow you to go out further than 20m or so. I got yelled at by lifeguard I did not speak any mutual languages with.

Nice day for a seaside walk. .....sad that the freshly created sand was affected by the sea.

I wish I new his name and address so I can send him flowers, chocolates, and champagne of every anniversary of this momentous rescue. Also to put him on my Christmas card list :D :D :D

Very big beach. With lots of sun beds, but there is also space for towels. The price for 1 sun bed is 50 lei. There are 4 sun beds under 1 huge umbrella, but the price for 4 is 200 lei. The beach is operating between 7am and 7pm. There ar plenty of lifeguards. Also, this beach is quite noisy, every few minutes a seller will walk and sream about the products which he sells: donught, corn, glazed apples, a show in the local theatre, or a boat ride, so be prepaired. Other than that, if you get to the beach quite early, you can stay near the sea and hear the waves, of not, the beach has plenty of space for everyone. To get to the beach you have to go down some stairs. On the beach there are seceral bars, where a beer starts at 8 lei. They have cocktails, ice coffee, granita, different juices. Near the beach there ar many, many places to eat/have a drink/have a snack

It's not the worst, but not the best either. For me, first and last visit in Eforie. The beach is full of shells. You can't walk barefoot. There were no toilets on the beach, we hardly found one next to a restaurant, and they were charging 3 Ron for entrance. I'm used to Mamaia, where you can find loads of amenities for children every step of the way, loads of bars, restaurants, and so on the beach.

This is one of the greatest beaches in Romania, truly. The prices are not exagerated, the beach is not full of sharp oisters, the sand is nice. The only thing not that great is that the beverages are a bit expensive on the beach directly, but if you are willing to go a bit up the beach, everything is fine. I liked it here, will come again!

No restrooms, lots of shells instead of fine sand, old stairs with missing pieces smelling of urine. Nice restaurants with good food and live music not far. Great lifeguards.

A little bit too busy and commercial for my taste. Apart from that very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, clean enough for me, though in the evening when all was getting empty the trash here and there became evident. OK toilet facilities for 3 lei, a little walk away from the water. Much easier to access then Eforie nord beach, as the stairs to go down are in good condition and also look a lot more pleasant. I was pregnant when I was there and found this to be very important. Many many umbrellas and beds for hiring, I myself went with my own sun umbrella and towel and always found plenty of space. Water was very nice, deepening slowly. Life guards present.
