This hotel's manager just stated that it is too much to ask for a salary that allows you to live. To earn enough to live you should get a second job. I suggest staying away from such sweatshops.

Horrible service. I would be ashamed to be the owner of this place, knowing how the service is like. Shame on you. I have never encountered ANYTHING like this before. Horrible restaurant service, horrible people at the reception. Where did you find these people?

Free parking, clean rooms, but very very expensive drinks even with all inclusive. All inclusive is not all inclusive. Personal of hotel is not nice, even the toilet on the beach cost 2 ron. I will never come in Eforie in my life

Liked · The view, beautiful seaside Disliked · Price: to high for what was offered. Pay extra 9€ for jacuzzi and indoor pool. When I first call to get infos they said it was 110€ per room, and the very next day when I wanted to book, they said the price was 130€ (because they had a lot of calls for booking the prior day). That’s why we booked on Booking, it was cheaper. The exterior: very old, it looks creepy, absolutely not the exterior of a 4* hotel Room: looks like an old communist room, dark, a lot of wood, bathroom very standard with cracked tiles, very small tv. Breakfast: nothing special, not what you expect for a 4* hotel Restaurant: risotto very salty, and not cooked correctly, the sea bass with vegetables very dry. You had the option for a menu a la carte or a buffet, but there were limited choices (3 or 4) Pool: the outside pool is not heated. the indoor one is very small and crowded.

September 2013 Great location. Free parking. Clean rooms. Nice sea view. The architecture of the building is not very impressive.

Everything was amazing ; it is a MUST to enjoy some time-off here! :D After not even one day, I can say that the stay here is absolutely amazing ! We enjoyed the comfort (room, view) - such a great room with awesome view, the SPA experience (massages, therapies, pool, jacuzzi) it was above expectations and the food&drinks are 100% tasty… We are definitely spoiled and cannot wait to come again! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

A haven of serenity on The Black Sea Coast. Amazing culinary experience, refreshed A la Carte menu with great healthy options. Impecable service all over the resort. A memorable stay last week-end that makes us return soon.

Hotel has a very nice garden, good view but I guess it obtained the 4 stars long time ago and only low maintenance since then. Old place feeling in the room, the ladies from reception are nice but not flexible at all. Not a good value for the money.

The hotel is in an excellent location. On a cliff overlooking the sea. All rooms have a sea view. This year the hotel celebrates twenty years of its existence. The truth is that we stayed there several times about 15-20 years ago when it was still new. Not much has changed but the systems have become obsolete. In our room, for example, there was a venta that was turned on from time to time and made a lot of noise. Apparently her bearing broke down. When we called the reception's attention, they told us that they were sorry and that the hotel was going to be renovated soon. After another request they sent a technician to simply disconnect the Venta. In addition, the staff is very nice and kind. The food at breakfast and lunch is very tasty and varied. The pool is beautiful, clean and pleasant. The hotel garden is extensive and beautiful. The hotel has its own beach, without extra charge, right nearby below the hotel. All in all we had a great time.

Nice hotel for short periods. The walls are quite thin so you can hear everything. The food was ok but could be better.

Amazing place, however I would invest in the rooms, they are a bit too old

Good service, decent food, awful location. All around the hotel are terraces and shops, smells like barbecue nonstop and the cacophony of noises from all the loud music played by the terraces is making it very hard to enjoy anything. Not the hotel's fault, but it ruins your holiday all the same. Beach access is through a tunnel of shops and terraces which makes it as unsavoury and bad taste as it can be.

I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel during August 2023 after staying here on many occasions in previous years. I believe a refurbishment is planned over the winter of 2023/2024. However the property and rooms remain clean, well maintained and comfortable. WiFi Internet access in the hotel is super-fast and suitable for remote working. The gardens and pool area are still ideal to relax in with towels provided and replaced on demand via a card system. Breakfast has improved significantly compared to previous years with omelettes now made on-demand, as well as extensive pastries, yogurts, juices etc. in addition to a hot buffet. Machine-prepared coffee was also decent. There's the option of a-la-carte and buffet dining for lunch and dinner, although there are plenty of options around Eforie Nord and the wider area. The front desk is well staffed so there is seldom a wait for assistance. With it's gated gardens and security, it's a solid option for those looking for comfort whilst staying at the Romanian seaside and probably one of the best properties for those looking for a safe and secure environment for their children. A refurb will hopefully help deal with a few issues. For instance it's quite easy to soak the bathroom floor with the way the shower is angled over the bath. Rooms could benefit from a few additional power outlets and the TVs are currently desk mounted rather than wall mounted. It would be good to see a more convivial bar area introduced as well. However I really have to say that my stays here have been friction-less and relaxing which is not always the case during high-season stays.

I feel like it's a nice enough hotel: pretty grounds, clean, decent food and waitstaff. But it's just not worth as much as they are asking for. I know they're on the beach, and everything is more expensive there, but I've been to seaside hotels that were more elegant and offered better services for a fraction of the price. I wouldn't recommend unless spending money makes you feel good.

Good hotel and nice personal but the service and cleaning are still far from the top. And the furniture (and the all hotel) need renovation...

Friendly staff but everything else about the place is bad.. It's very noisy in the area.. They don't have an AC.. It's blazing hot in the rooms.

The place is a social bubble that will save you from the local craziness but by no means is a great hotel. The organization is quite bad and Ive witnessed alot of arguments between guests or between staff and guests. The rooms are ok, not bad but not great. Small balcony that seems quite dangerous especially for kids and the air conditioning is loud and it leaks water on the carpets. In front of the hotel there is a water park and they have there loud music during the day and a dj with a microphone talking and making lots of noise at times. The elevators have a wierd system where you have to choose the level you want to go to before the elevator is there and we got stuck inside because of that. Restaurant prices are high as expected and not much better, you can get the same food or better a couple of blocks down. Their plus was only the fact that they offer some quiet compared to the loud streets. Overall is the best of the worst. We won't go to romanian shores probably ever after experiencing them in 2021. If you absolutely have to go there, Ana hotels is an option, but don't get your hopes high. Also we were charged 450 dollars instead of 450 ron for a dinner, the staff noticed and made it right the second day but it was a wierd thing to happen.

Very nice garden and sea view NO : Medical Doctor attitude , very sad and negative Staff from reception permanently bored, no wish to help No possibility to adjust air conditioning from the room, general control, working very noisy also in the night.... Preferential service for tourists, reminding me about communist times

Price too high for the amenities offerred. Old rooms with even older bathrooms, no water drainage on the floor, and the one in the ceiling was far from having any impact. At breakfast the waiters shouted at each other creating a very uncomfortable athmosphere and even when i told them that, their response was: "i know i do that". The only good thing is a relaxing garden and the mud treatments.

The hotel is clean 9/10. The bathroom needs some refreshing (it can be easily flooded). Hotel staff is helpful. The beach area is clean, although the beach staff attitude can be improved. They have a kids pool. The restaurant food is average at best and the drinks are heavily overpriced. They don't have a kids menu. The breakfast is decent and variated. The room rates are a little bit too high for what they are offering.

Pro: -nice overview of the sea from the apartment -clean and nice garden when you can relax in the shadow plus a nice pool -very good traditional Romanian food – hotel has very good chefs, selection of the food is carefully done in order to offer as much as possible Romanian food products -all waiters are kind and polite, the reception staff as well -Europa Hotel beach boys are helpful and polite (when you reserve your place in the morning,if you go and revert after few hours, you are sure that nobody will take your reserved place) Cons – things to be improved: -it should be a possibility to totally shut down air conditioning/air recirculation system - in one room it is quite loud and can be annoying during the night -because of Corona rules, understood that cleaning staff come to the room only after individual request to Reception -there can be some lags and oversights in cleaning the room if individual request is not done daily (you garbage can be picked up after 2 days) -Hotel staff should speak to municipality to improve the surroundings: too load music to resort over the street, access to the beach to be cleaned of small boutiques placed on the stairs to avoid the crowd during peak hours -Smoking on the private beach to be forbidden, fines to be introduced -Access from the private beach chairs to the sea is occupied by different people who are not the clients of the hotel or don’t pay for a chair to the Europa Hotel beach boys; because of that, kids don’t have enough space to play in the sand near the sea or, in case of an emergency, intervention of a lifeguards can be difficult (they have to be careful not to step on the people laid down on the sand – being there illegally, from my point of view) -Smoking to be forbidden on the balconies of the hotel (in the evening, you open the door to get some fresh air but smoke enters your room; it happened to me in one evening, from the right door neighbour; everything stopped after I made a claim to reception) Recommendation: Who decide to choose Europa Hotel, they won’t be disappointed. I didn’t go to Spa of the Hotel to make an opinion there also.

Great experience, will come back with pleasure! It's child friendly, has a well maintained garden, which is heaven during summer in Romania, clean rooms, overall satisfied. Swimming pool for adults and for kids, swings and playground slides, hammocks, basically everything one needs without exiting the hotel Breakfast was good with many options. I would have expected some more variety in the menu a la carte.
