This
beautiful
and
large
garden
was
located
near
one
of
the
northern
gates
of
Isfahan
called
Qoshchi
Gate.
At
present,
there
is
a
park
called
Qoshkhaneh
on
the
outskirts
of
Toghchi
Square
and
at
the
western
beginning
of
Laleh
Street,
which
used
to
be
the
location
of
this
beautiful
and
magnificent
garden.
This
building
is
currently
located
in
Quds
Square
(modern
name
of
Toghchi
Square),
Zeinabieh
Street
(modern
name
of
Laleh
Street).
Although
the
peak
of
the
glory
and
grandeur
of
this
garden,
like
many
other
historical
buildings
in
Isfahan,
is
related
to
the
Safavid
era,
but
some
have
dated
this
building
to
the
pre-Safavid
era
and
the
8th
century
AH.
However,
according
to
the
decorations
and
architectural
style
of
the
minaret
adjacent
to
this
garden,
some
consider
the
time
of
its
construction
to
be
related
to
the
Mongol
era,
and
by
the
same
token,
they
have
attributed
the
age
of
the
garden
to
that
era.
In
the
Safavid
period,
the
garden
was
considered
a
place
for
keeping
birds
of
prey
and
animals
favorite
of
the
king,
but
according
to
some
historical
reports
in
the
Qajar
period,
it
had
other
uses,
including
to
disguise
the
disgrace
granted
by
Qajar
kings
and
rulers
and
as
a
suitable
place
to
receive
You
were
considered
a
foreign
guest
and
ambassador.
