We arrived in Isfahan full of joy from our fabulous stay in Shiraz Vakil Hotel..to this.. We booked an apartment for four people, but in the end it was a huge apartment for 9 people (but we were there just three). But the very first moment I came to the hotel - disaster, all was shabby, coffee spilt on the floor, the rooms were untidy, with some leftover after previous guests, and the bathroom was unbelievable - full of mold in the bathroom corners. No toilet paper, no towels provided - even when we asked for it. We told the same day of our arrival to the manager that we wont stay the planned three night, but only just one. He seemed to be very disappointed and started to tell us that he has to talk with the owner of the property (dont know who he was then) about the cancellation, if it will be possible and stuff. In the morning we received a breakfast - only for two people, but we were three! It was only eggs with sausages (great for us vegetarians - no one asked us what we want), bread, and salty porridge. And non-alcoholic beers and water.. yes you normally drink beer for breakfast.. Terrible. Also there was kitchen in the apartment we could use - BUT, there was nothing, except for some cutlery - NO plates, no kettle to at least boil a water, no cups...so whats the use of that?? The manager at the end told us that he wants 5 EUR cancellation fee - this is like the most expensive considering Iran prices.. and for the room 20 EUR...which was the same price what we paid for a three star hotel in Shiraz... Awful experience. Worth to pay a little bit more for example for Kowsar hotel, or also Keryas hotel looked really nice from the outside when we went to see it, but unfortunately was full for that night. The only advantage of this hotel was the distance to Naqsh-e Jahan square.

I stayed here in June 1998. Forget everything you know about hotel apartments. The same with the photos. There is an old building here, and one of its units was labeled "acceptance". There are many problems. I will name only a few. They don't have internet and they say it's a part and they're waiting for a statement to repair it! The blankets were so dirty, don't say! There were large yellow stains on the bed sheets. The whole building smells of dampness! The bathroom smelled horrible of sewage and yellow water from the ceiling directly above your head! It was dripping! The floor of the apartment had hair everywhere and it was clear that it was not cleaned at all. The toilet siphon was broken and the water was wasted all the time! There was a microwave that had leftover food in it, and it smoked when we turned it on! When we asked them to clean the apartment, a gentleman came with a T-shirt and some washing powder (in a small cup) and cleaned the bathroom, sprayed a lot of deodorant and left! We tried to ignore the payment and leave, but we couldn't find a place and finally we returned a day early. Terrible

If you are looking for a cheap place, without any pretension, a stone's throw from the center of Isfahan, this hotel is fine. It has convenient parking. Cleanliness and order are not the best. More than a hotel, it is an apartment rental.

The apartment hotel is acceptable, but I give it a low score because some rooms smell and there were cockroaches in the rooms. Cleaning was not acceptable

If cleanliness is your priority: avoid If immediate access to historic monuments and the city center is the priority: very good choice Personally I didn't like it because of Cockroaches even in the living room Stinky toilets Human hairs everywhere And a lot more disgusting things

Proximity to sightseeing areas is one of the very good advantages of the hotel and nothing else. Good and kind staff. Very bad bed quality. TV. Kitchen. Very awful toilet and bathroom. Dirty walls. What is characteristic is that this place used to be a residential complex and it has changed its use. Apparently, the residents evacuated quickly and it turned into a hotel just as quickly. The gas valves were left without caps. Toilet without fan with a lot of smell. The appearance of the building is not similar to the new one. In general, if you can't find a place, it's better on the street.
