where to start ... we had an absolutely magical stay with Marcella and Lars, who have a very unusual sense of hospitality and are very kind and always available to give the best advice about the area. The hotel is located in the middle of nature, but only 5 minutes by car from the beautiful beaches and 10 minutes from the centre of Estepona. Apart from the welcome and location, the building is absolutely beautiful, a U-shaped Andalusian farmhouse recently renovated by Mareclla and Lars, with a beautiful swimming pool in the centre. Everything is tastefully decorated. It is so nice to spend the evening with a drink by the pool. The rooms are charming and very comfortable, spacious. The breakfast alone would be worth a visit. There is also an open bar where guests can get everything they need at reasonable prices (cava, wine, beer, soft drinks, etc). More generally, the place is both very friendly and very quiet, so that one immediately feels fully on holiday. We will remember this stay for a long time, thanks Marcella and Lars!

I have been here several times and this year was the first year I brought my International photography group as well. They were flabbergasted by arrival. They loved their big rooms and Marcella and Lars are the best hosts! Breakfast the next morning was just a little party and when we left they told me in the car: "we should have stayed here longer":-)

We live in Spain ourselves. But sometimes you just have leave your house to disconnect from work and find a place to relax. We found that place at Hotel El Molino in Estepona. Beautiful and very authentic restored building with fantastic rooms. The hosts, Marcella and Lars are doing everything they can to make you feel welcome. I can go on for hours and it would still not be enough to express my enthusiasm for this gem of a hotel. Oh, and you can bring your dog(s) with you. Keep the good work up 🙏🙏🙏

Absolute oasis. Pool, garden with Boule place. Marcelle is a great host taking care of every guest personally and Lars is an exquisit Chef who prepares breakfasts that are more Brunchs. 5 stars because I cannot give six.

What an incredible boutique hotel! The Blue Suite is very spacious with an enormous bathroom and a very large balcony. Our room was spotless and the rest of the hotel is beautifully maintained. Breakfast is a must and is presented differently each morning. We loved the various seating areas both inside the main building and around the courtyard and couldn't recommend this hotel enough. It's less than a 10 minute drive from the coastline and is like your own little oasis along the Costa del Sol. It's also dog friendly which is a bonus!

Amazing place! We loved it so much we stayed an extra night to enjoy it more! The breakfast by the pool every morning was so delicious. The room was fantastic and comfortable and the shower was superb. Marcelle and Lars are truly the best at what they do. Our beagle 🐶 absolutely loved sleeping in the shade near the pool and he is also going to miss Lar’s breakfasts!! Thank you Marcelle and Lars!

This was truly a rare experience. I was taken there by my wife as a surprise trip for our 1 year anniversary. It was nothing short of magical. The place is beautiful. Simple but beautiful. It's a place where nature and people co-exist in harmony. The owners are just amazing. They treated us as more than friends - it felt like we were family. Lars cooked an amazing breakfast in the morning that literally took a 5-star experience to beyond. I've already told many of my best friends about El Molino Estepona. I also know that I can return there any time and I will be treated as if I'm family. Grateful for the magical experience!
