Ducked in here for only a light bite in the early afternoon. We bought one sandwich to share, but it was so good we ended up getting two, and skipped dinner. It’s a cute, tight little space loaded with character, charming service, and the sandwiches are reasonably priced. Eating here was a highlight of my day!

Good tasting food. Choose between pizza and freshly made focaccia. Fast friendly service. Great value for money. Take away only.

Stefano was so nice & his sandwiches were incredible. We had the Emozione sandwich which has prosciutto, cheese, and truffle honey and it was the most amazing panino I've ever had. And the bread is homemade. Plus you can grab a cup of red wine for $1.50! Definitely worth a trip over the bridge to eat there!

If you want something taste great and an eating place with lots of locals but not tourists, look no further than this! This place is inexpensive too. Thier specialty sandwiches are must try. 3 of us had a great meal for merely €15, tats with drinks!

Hands down the best panini in Florence! Great location, cheap prices and the very very tasty! The owner's been running the shop for 13 years and the amount of care that goes into his food really shows!

Loved this sandwich! There are vegetarian options as well. Don’t forget to ask for mozzarella di Buffalo when you have a sandwich with mozerella. The taste is so good! The people that worked there were very friendly and helped us pick!

Super delicious, and very friendly. We had the sallsiccia e stracchinio, 2014, 2017, and toro. We liked it so much we went back 2 more times. He remembered what we ordered, and the service was great. He gave us the sandwiches one at a time so that each one was hot and fresh. Our favorite was the sallsiccia e stracchinio, the flavors were delicate and it was juicy throughout.

Excellent place for a quick bite. The shop is quite small but the service very friendly and efficient. There are many choices for the typical sandwich (covaccio), prices are very reasonable.

'The King' was literally the best thing I ate in italy. For 7 euro you will enjoy the most friendly atmosphere with absolutely fantastic food. I didn't talk that much to the workers since my italian is very bad, but you can just feel that there is a very good energy in this place. I left firenze with a heavy heart knowing that I will miss this tiny restaurant greatly. My best wishes to everyone that works there and I hope to see you again someday.

Really enjoyed the sandwiches here, crispy and tasty bread and a large variety of fillings - porchetta, mortadella, eggplant, a variety of cheeses - no substitutions allowed though. Not huge lines like places like All'Antico.

Here we had the best panini in our trip to Tuscany. The porchetta panini was juicy and flavorful. My boyfriend had the one where they choose the contents and although we were not sure of the ingredients it was also lovely. Staff is very kind and even though there was a line we were eating in less than 15 minutes. They also have cold drinks and some stools to eat in place. You can also walk a few meters and eat riverside.

Sandwiches are phenomenal. They no longer have focaccia since covid and focus primarily on selling only the best sandwiches made from the best bread and ingredients. Excellent service. It's a very small shop so not a lot to say about the atmosphere. In fact you order inside and pickup outside. But the sandwiches are worth it.

BEST SANDWICHES EVER! Highly recommend coming here if visiting the beautiful Firenze. Stefano is the sweetest and makes you feel like family. 10/10! I recommend the Sagittarius with added spicy salami and lettuce. 😉 Thank you Stefano!!!

Incredible!! Employees were super sweet, the menu you order the year next to our sandwich, I had the 2015 and it was to die for, the salami was sliced so thin it was super crispy and not at all chewy like thicker salami.

Solid lunch option across the Ponte Vecchio, with a short but diverse menu of sandwiches made with delicious meats, cheeses and homemade bread. The line was long when we arrived but it moved quickly and our food was ready very fast after we ordered.

Delicious panini the bread which they make there was outstanding and the service was very friendly. Note: they did not offer gluten free options

Truly the BEST sandwich place in town. We had it 2/5 days in Florence and couldn’t have it a third because it was closed. The owner offered us a piece of bread while we were looking at the food options and absolutely got us there. That homemade bread IS DELICIOUS! I loved the contrast of flavors on the ‘gold specialty’ sandwich. My boyfriend tried two others and loved them also, especially the one with spicy salami. I would recommend it to anybody that is looking for an authentic and local place to eat lunch in Florence. Price-quality was reasonable ($5-6 so even cheaper than other places in town that were not as half good as this).

There is the kindest and most polite staff. Delicious meat and bread. Very fast. You can also buy by credit card. On average, you pay for food about 3-7 euro

👍👍 You'll always see queues, but they are actually quite fast, so don't stress! They helped us with recommendations.
