Average food with very high prices. For these plates we were charged 84 euro (2 spritz included). The coperto was 15€ per 2 persons. We were in Michelin restaurants and were charged max 7€ per 2. The burata starter had no taste/sauce, just empty ingredients. We didnt check the reviews before sitting and we definitely regret and feel cheated. Also the waiter was very rude. When he brought the bill he circled with a pen the text where is written that the bill the bill doesnt include tips :))))) this was the worst restaurant from our Toscana trip

Amazing and cozy terrace. Lovely outdoor seating. My daughter loved the flowered decoration and we all liked the water mist since it was a hot day. The location was beautiful and the view of the statues was superb. All the food we ordered came fresh, hot and delicious. I do not get why this nice place has only 2 stars and people calling it a “tourist trap”. Of course there are tourists (it’s Piazza della Signoria!!) but I think its not a trap at all. Prices were good & reasonable, and overall just an amazing patio. Highly recommend!!

Had a great meal there. Bread was awful but rest of food and wine was lovely. In particular, my vegetable risotto was gorgeous. Was expensive but fully expected that when you want to soak up the atmosphere of a piazza you always pay more at these tourist places but I felt it was worth it. Bit awkward that they ask for a tip.

Tourist Trap Scam Fine if money is no object and you just want barely average food in a hurry then this place is for you. The waiter was good and would have got a decent tip until we saw the bill. We're pretty seasoned travellers and this is the most money we've spent on drinks ever, €32 on 2 large beers plus a cover charge of over €18. The food wasn't great either, my spaghetti polpette had 3 meatballs. Avoid if possible.

Terrible experience.. Bad service, so slow. Noisy place. When the waiter comes at last they offer you some water, 7€ the bottle !!! 15% extra charge and they dare to ask for a tip. Food was good but there were 5 raviolis lost in the middle of the plate, a joke. To sum up : a well organized rip off, to avoid !

The average rating of this restaurant speaks for itself. Huge table of screaming, drunk tourists is tolerated. To the disadvantage of all other guests. Generally speaking, the overall crowd and the way they are treated lets me conclude: Purely profit over quality. This is in accordance with the food taste. Everyone who says differently in this blog is fake or just has not been in one of the real Italian restaurants around yet. What a pity. Just don’t do it.

I was very pleased with the service that was brought to me and my friends during lunch today! I had the spaghetti and meatballs with a side of garlic bread and it very much satisfied me😋 The only problem that I have is the waiting time for the food to be prepared, but I have no concerns for this. The staff and servers were very friendly and polite to us though👍

Good pasta, but they charge a 15% coperto and drinks twice the usual price (coke zero 6.5 € each and sparkling water 7 €) and then ask for tip

The food was very good, but they charge you 15% coperto and the waiters have the gut to ask for tips. Also the location is very nice, view to the fountain. The bellini cocktails had almost no alcohol.

Had a late dinner here. Servers were just throwing dishes onto the table when the food came. The waiter spilled wine on my arm when he tried to shift the table. He said it's a good luck because it's wine, not olive oil. No apologoies. The lamb chop I ordered had small, sharp pieces of bones left in the flesh. The waiter demanded some tip, which is my first time in Italy after numerous visits. I knew how it's like at this kind of places right on a piazza, but this exceeded my tolerance. I ended up giving a small tip, but this turned me off for not only this kind of place but also Firenze and cities alike.

This is one of those ‘should have read the other reviews before sitting’ times. This restaurant is in a nice location so it’s easy to be pulled in. The service was extremely lacking and borderline rude. The bread comes out in a paper bag and the Parmesan cheese in single serve plastic sachets. The glassware was dirty and the food was certainly nothing special. Total tourist trap and extremely expensive for what you get.

Okay so if seen some bad reviews for this restaurant and we really don't get why. Me and my girlfriend had an amazing dinner. The food was really really really good and the service was great. Nice waiters and an excellent location. Was it expensive? Nothing out of the ordinary for florence. I would even say this was one of the cheaper ones and it was great value for the money we spent. The waiter did ask for a tip, but that's really normal and they were happy with 5%. If I were here for longer I would definitely return here and can recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Nice restaurant in Florence. The quality of the food is good, but the prices are extremely high, even if you consider the unique location of the terrace where I dined (three hundred euros for a not exaggerated dinner for five people, u serious?). I took a T-bone steak, and if it hadn't been excellent in its original country I would have been quite disappointed. A flaw on the staff, they seemed quite anxious and insistent, but still helpful and courteous.

The place is súper expensive! In menu the prices are given without VAT. After the food, I had to run to bathroom with the poisoning.... Horrible experience!!! Don't even think to take some drinks there!!! 2 glasses of beer costed 18 euros!!!! We will never recommend that to anybody.

Good restaurant in Piazza Della Signoria. Nice place to enjoy some pizza and have a drink while walking through some more touristy areas and seeing some beautiful artwork. Pizza Adventures: Destination #131

Staff is nice, good service, the food is ok, prices are higher because of the location, other than that, we enjoyed it.

Perfect location. Don’t order the salmon and greek salad. The food quality is not that good. Service is ok. 15% cover charge is added on the bill. Plus your waiter will ask you kindly tip for himself. Typical tourist screwing business.

We were three guys and were seated, we were talking in English as we are from London. One of us heard the waiter/manager/owner saying “Indian dingli dingli” in a mocking tone and we left. I am not sure if he meant it to us but if you make these kind of jokes at least make them hidden from the customers

Sorry nay sayers, but we had a great meal. Waiter: I was nice to him, he was nice to me! Food: ordered the pizza de Capo, excellent. No complaints.

Servers were exceptionally nice. We had T-bone Florentine steak with potatoes and wine for two and it was €64. Quite reasonable as far as I’m concerned I’m not quite sure why there are so many one star reviews. The food was pretty good. Steak was huge. Potatoes were delicious. And the wine was excellent. I can’t speak for the rest of the menu but we would go back

My wife and I enjoyed our dining here. We were on a tour and had an hour to kill before meeting back with the tour. For both of us the bill was 42 euros. We found the price to be ok. The service was great! We were met promptly and the staff was very accommodating. We ate outside, of course, and was pleased with the atmosphere. It is located in a very busy square but that didn't bother us at all!

We had a lovely meal, the waiters we're courteous and attentive. We expected inflated prices, we were eating in a beautiful historical prime location. No complaints a wonderful relaxing evening. 2 main courses bot of water bot of wine. 74 euros.

👍👍 You'll always see queues, but they are actually quite fast, so don't stress! They helped us with recommendations.
