Good place to eat, lots of choices but the best i got here is the Florentine Steak. It is so big a steak that its truly three fingers thick before cooking. Cost a little much but you only visit Firenze maybe once in a lifetime so why not try what they are famous for. The bars are good selling local wines and good beers,lager and ales. Public washroom are available and they are clean. They offer free taste for the steak so you can decide to which outlet you will get this famous steak. Prepare more than €100 for the steak alone.

The food is amazing, freshly made. And Gabriel is so kind. I recommend it for everyone who loves a good food and meat. The potatoes are the best I have ever eaten.

Bistecco is inside the characteristic Florence Market. Excellent meat and well cooked according to the best tradition of the Florentine steak. The customer is welcomed and well advised. The manager Gabriele and his collaborator Matilda are kind and professional. Excellent price/quality ratio. I advise.

Great food!

An unforgettable experience of Florentine hospitality and culinary skill. Our Chianina steak was prepared perfectly after our waitress thoroughly explained the offerings and picked out a delicious cut for two of us to enjoy. These steaks are best enjoyed rare but Bistecco will cook it to your liking if you wish. We also had the mixed salad that was very fresh and crisp.

Go here! Food was amazing. We ate tagliata and tartar with a glass of chianti wine. Perfect lunch for a friday,... And it came with a lovely conversation with the man of the hour, Mr. Gabriele. Sad we didn't get to eat the fiorentina. It just means we'll have to visit him again. All the awards. : it is located in the downstairs area of the central market. In my opinion way better experience than the upstares chaotic food court

This was a very good experience tasting florentine steak. Don’t bother asking for more than “medium”, they won’t do it, and for good reason. A 50.00 cut fed four of us.

A cool place in the center of Florence where you can taste a delicious and inexpensive steak. My recommendation for those who are looking for something new besides pizza and pasta)

The service was great, we had a wonderful time and got an incredible cheese burger! It was cooked to order right in front of us, the experience couldn’t have been better!
