Well well, there is a lot to write about mt review, it's the first "second review" that I ever write, and there it marks how special the place and the people running the show are in Johnny Bruschetta. The first review was mixed with great feelings about the concept, the service and the place, but less good feelings about the food. It ended up with 3 stars, which I admit might have been a little harsh. Since then Johnny and I exchanged some mails, he replied to my review and invited me to come again with the new menu that they were coming out with. Admittedly I waited quite a bit before coming back, came in with some American friends and this time... 5 stars, nailed it! Yes; atmosphere, staff, everything was good as it was last time, and the new menu I thought it was a huge improvement on the previous one which was a bit bland. Flavours came out, interesting mixes showed all their potential. It is very hard to find people like Johnny and the staff, they are dedicated to the business, take time to interact with the patrons such as I, and I feel that this is the best feature of the place because you might like the food or not, but there is passion and research and will to become better behind it, and in today's restaurant world is hard to find such commitment. For this reason I hope for these guys all the best, they deserve it! Go, you will not regret it.

Fantastic customise bruschetta..nice experience..staff is also good

Really good place to have really tasty and originl toasts. It has a lot of vegetarian options. They welcome you with a glass of sparkling wine (for free). It is a really cosy place with very kind treatment from the waiters.

Trendy place with fancy long bruschettas. If you are lucky you will see the owner of the place who looks exactly like the logo. You can get a giant 2 meter long bruschetta with sophisticated and different toppings. Great for a big company, or for a dinner/aperetivo. Afterwards you can just go to Sant'Ambrogio and enjoy the rest of the night.

We LOVED our meal at Johnny's. An amazing lunch menu for €8, a buffet style of high quality ingredients and one pasta dish per person. Johnny's also does their own (very tasty) craft beer, such good value for money and a boutique style, quirky interior with above and beyond friendly service. You have to go here when in Florence!

A nicely decorated restaurant with moderate - high prices. The food is tasty and there's a creative concept behind everything. Vegan options are available too. However, we didn't feel exactly welcome as non-talians. We (and later on some other tourists) were guided to the very back of the restaurant although there was plenty of space in the front. That's quite strange and kind of ruined the experience.

Different dinner concept, with primarily different types of bruschetta. The food choices were excellent and our server very attentive. My 8-year old son opted for the burger, which was well made. We went right when it opened on a Tuesday night and almost had the place to ourselves

Great food and very friendly service. Fantastic bruschetta, especially one with gorgonzola and walnut, which is one of my favourite things I have ever eaten. Spent some time chatting with the manager at the bar after dinner over some limoncello, which he refused to charge us for. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff, reasonably priced wine and food. Main course is a type of sandwich to share and you can select different toppings. try the cheesecake for desert!

We had a great meal at Johnny Bruschetta. They started us off with a couple of glasses of prosecco and a sample of breads with tomato paste on one and eggplant on another. Their bruschetta was amazing and the staff very polite. We did a soup and the johnny nortune and also a caprese bruschetta and were not disappointed. Great food and high recommend.
