Yikes. I went solely based off the amazing numbers of reviews and I should have known better. The location by the train station is convenient but you get what you pay for. An overwhelming number of items and it’s very odd inside. There are zero Italians except for the host and you know why instantly. The food is mediocre. We ordered Coke Zero and didn’t arrive in the bottle. Red flag. We’re on day 8 of our Europe trip and EVERYONE serves it from an unopened bottle. No clue where they had soda on tap as they didn’t have a drink dispenser and it tasted gross. We ordered still water and there was no seal on the bottle. I’m positive they refill with tap water as that’s a common scam. The pizza. Was. Terrible. It was soggy, saucy and and sour. It tasted like can sauce from the U.S. frankly. Our American mall pizza would be about the same as here. I had my suspicions so I didn’t order what I wanted to order and tried the pizza to start. Glad I did. We tasted it and paid our bill and left. They asked if everything was alright as we didn’t eat any of it. But they know. I saw many full plates of food being taken back to the kitchen. They should do better.

I came here around 5 years ago with family, and remembered how good the pasta was so I brought my friend to try with me when we went last week. Absolutely amazing. She was in love and I was reminded of how great the food was. Reasonably priced, a hidden gem near the main station. Service was great and quick and this experience made our trip even better. Would 100% recommend.

Very friendly owner, was patient with us and made sure we were taken care of. Food was fantastic! Tagliatelle in red creamy sauce was very flavorful, and the pesto gnocchi practically melted in my mouth. TASTY FLUFFY TIRAMISU I am not a wine connoisseur but the house red paired with the food nicely.

Local restaurant with great smiling staff close to the train station. Very busy at times but the staff smiles and takes care of every customer. Nice menu and delicious porcini pizza and tagliatelle. Resonable prices and no additional charges to the bill. Went back the next day !

This place was great we came a few times during our visit to Florence. We had pizza and pastas. We ordered the lasagna for take away, it was delicious! The food is fresh, tasty, prices are great and the staff is nice. We also enjoyed how late the restaurant is open. We had take away our first night and ate at the restaurant during our third go there. There is also no service charge.

Best restaurant experience in Italy . I have stayed in 8 Italian restaurants in the last 4 days. Extremely high quality, friendly and smart service. I DO recommend here to enjoy local meal in Florence.

No words, the service, the food, and the vine was amazing. While staff didn't speak much English we had a very welcoming experience. The food was well priced and had been made fresh. The flavours were so good, I feel like I am getting hungry writing this review. 🙌 Thank you so much the the restaurant team and the chef for making our evening full of positive emotions.

A really good place to eat some Italian pasta. We stopped here while waiting for check-in time at our Hotel and were surprised by the delicious food. Amazing pasta, focaccia and affogato. I recommend this place and would love to visit again!

Really enjoyed coming here, it has a lovely family warm feeling to it. The ten euro litre wine was actually quite nice too and very reasonably priced. Steak was perfect for me. The extra three euro for porchini mushrooms wasn't worth it though if you get the fillet.

Our recent visit to your pizzeria was nothing short of enchanting. The Bufala Mozzarella on my Pizza Mozzarella was a celestial delight, each bite a symphony of flavors. My boyfriend's Pizza Tuna with Mozzarella was a revelation, a perfect blend of succulent tuna and heavenly tomato sauce. We have eaten in 4 Italian restaurants in the last 4 days. This was far the best experience. My pizza was amazing. And my wife’s Tagliatelle was awesome. The 66Cl Beira Moretti was such good value. And then the bill was the lowest of the last 4 nights. Thanks

Amazing real food, great value, good atmosphere. This place was recommended by an Italian friend. He says Italian food should not be expensive for quality, now I get it. Ok the rustic decor might not massively impress your GF on her Instagram, hey save that for another time. The Lasgne at 2 inches thick for €8 was the best I have ever had…anywhere. It’s not just about the pricing, the food was great. In fact the Lasagne looked so good on another table I then ordered it for myself. Quick service, buzzy atmosphere and non touristy. €29 for a decent amount of food including mineral water and wine… If nothing else, just go here and eat the best lasagne you’ll ever have for €8.

A low key pizzeria with a diverse menu - pastas, pizzas, main dishes, desserts. So many Italian goodies spread on the Golosa pizza! Carbonara was creamy and with a great amount of bacons and pepper. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The only downside was that the AC was not strong enough. Still a great spot to enjoy local food with great service and price!

Let's start with the good: The wine was alright, and the prices for the food are very reasonable. Everything on the menu is fairly priced. The prices you see on the menu are the prices you pay. The staff are friendly and helpful. For transparency, we had two glasses of house wine, the bruschetta, and two pizzas. Onto the disappointment: - Perhaps it was just a busy night, but the service was slow. We had to wait several minutes to be served on the way in, and several minutes to wait to pay on the way out. - I fear this restaurant suffers from the "we do everything syndrom". By having SO MANY choices, everything is mediocre, and nothing is good. - The bruschetta tomatoes didn't feel incredibly fresh, and the bread was burnt on the surface and soggy in the middle. I can't even begin to understand how you manage to do that. - The dough for the pizzas were uncooked in the middle and soggy. - The onions on one of the pizzas were raw. Ever ate a raw onion? Pleasant, isn't it? - The "sausage" on my pizza looks like tiny cut up hot dogs you'd throw in a kid's Kraft Dinner. - Perhaps the next part is my "Canadian" ignorance, but I found the tomato sauce on the pizzas just SO bland and lacking flavour -- to the point where I wonder if the hype behind Italian pizzas is extremely exaggerated. I didn't think I was a foodie until I ate at this restaurant. I was disappointed by the food here. I truly wonder whether I ate at the same restaurant with 4+ stars, as rated by 2400+ people.

We absolutely loved this restaurant! Just returned to the US from Florence, and went there three times during our stay. Would have gone more if we had the time. Friendly people, great atmosphere, really good food and very reasonably priced. Our favorite place in Florence without question!

Great place! Good serving, lovely staff, food is great! I recommend it with all my heart. We had a great experience and went more than once for lunch and dinner. And the prices are pretty good, compared to other central restaurants. It's located on a nice street, with bars closeby if you want to continue the evening. Being close to the train station but also to the city center makes it a very convenient choice. If you read this, you have to try it!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this place, we ended up coming back for a 2nd night in a row. Grace the owner and our server Norbert, we’re just about the warmest people we have met. They really made us feel welcomed. The menu was very expansive and the food delicious and reasonable and the portions large. This is the type of place we would be regulars at if we lived here. You could come every night and try something different. Down home Italian! Thank you Grace and Norbert!

There are good foods and good wines. The staff kindly person. Will come back again when I come to Florence the next time.

Delicious!!! Great atmosphere, prices were good! Amounts of food great!! I ordered the Spaghetti Alla carbonara di mare (with sea food) and WOW!! Left no crumbs!
