A perfect place if you want to cool down, take a bath and relax. 14 min walk from downtown Florence.

The staff were lovely and helpful! Entry is €9 for an adult and you need to wear a swim cap which can be bought for €3. Bring a padlock for the lockers otherwise these can be purchased for €4 from a vending machine. It is a nice place for a dip.

Although the pool itself is fine, the staff are discourteous. They changed the operating hours to end at 6 PM. Nothing further. When I said they needed to update their info on Google, I got an eye roll and a response of, "Google isn't our site." Really?!? And how would I as a foreigner know this place without Google? By the way, I learned of this pool from a life long resident.

I don't know where to start from! In Le Pavoniere outdoor garden you can find a lounge, Dj, and Kiosk for fried fish/meat and drinks ofcourse. I had a very special fried sea food in Le Pavoniere.. The service was fast, prices were fine and reasonable, and the chef was so friendly and it's clear that he prepares food with love.. The kiosk is a little bit small, but very clean and organized, and if you pass by, you can see that! You can enter from a special entrance inside the Park of Cascine, or you can spend your day in the swimming pool there, and then at 07:00 pm when it's open, you pass to have a light meal with a drink and enjoy the atmosphere with nice music.. We arrived by car but I saw the bus stop directly behind Le Pavoniere, so it's easy to arrive. At the end I want to say thanks for making sure that we had the best service there, and all the appreciation to the Chef Armando that he was cooking happily even when the tempreture was 38°, and also to the pool life guard Eleonora that took care of my fiancee when he had a bee bite. I absoloutely recommend, and I add another extra 5 stars for the service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Update: they added a lap lane!!!! Much better now. I used to love this pool - it’s pretty and I love that it’s in cascine park. But when I’ve gone lately it hasn’t been so great. The locker rooms and bathrooms are quite disgusting by the end of the day - they need a midday clean. The pool is quite chaotic - there are many people trying to swim laps but nobody follows the lane markers on the bottom of the pool and none of the other swimmers pay attention to the lap swimmers and don’t get out of the way. People are going every which way, even perpendicular to them 😅 there are so many near head-on collisions because nobody pays attention to where they’re going and the lifeguards do nothing. One of them was even on her phone. They really need to add a lane line or two for the lap swimmers, it would be much safer.

Went and got yeast infection. Not clear and quite warm water, went on a pretty hot day and wasn’t able to cool down. The whole place feels dirty, including changing rooms and toilets. Big group of kids were jumping and making noise all day, without the staff telling them to behave

An excellent way to beat the heat on a summer trip to Firenze! Take the local bus from downtown and walk a short ways through the park for family fun at the pool!

We’re upset because we came all the way here for a swim only to be told the pool was closing 😭 The Google listing shows the closing time as 11:30pm. We arrived at 6:55pm to find the pool was closing at 7pm and told we should have looked at the official website for the specific opening hours of the pool… It’s only the bar that is open until 11:30pm I don’t believe it is a reasonable requirement to go searching through the website for pool specific hours. Everything about the google listing makes it look like it’s specific to the swimming pool so the natural assumption is that the opening hours would relate to the pool. My suggestion would be to make a separate listing for the bar given the opening hours are so different to avoid disappointing people. I’ve read other poor reviews on this listing and other people have the same complaints.

Would thoroughly recommend. A beautiful pool and lovely chilled vibe. We went end of season so it was very quiet and peaceful

Awesome place on a hot day and the lunch at the restaurant was also good and fair in price/quality.

It's clean and sometimes there is a lovely Wind. Remeber the swimming cap! The caffetteria has a lot of sandwiches, cold coffee and icecreams.

Staff was very accomodating. Very nice ambience.

Nice place to cool off. Wasn't too busy in September. Closed at 630. Recommended late afternoon visit to avoid the sun. It's no-smoking but a restaurant employee (one of the cooks) was smoking unfortunately. There is a bizarre sensor activated shower system that guards the entry into the pool area. It's pretty funny to watch as each sunbather tries to time their escape to avoid getting wet. Remember to bring your swimming cap (or buy one here for 2€) and a small padlock for a locker.

It's well organized, spacious and most importantly clean. There's a bar if you crave a drink, sandwich or an ice-cream and there is a store for bathing suits and caps should you not have your own. Families with kids have their own pool.

Cool place with really nice location, friendly staff and a lot of potential. However, good luck if you actually want to swim lengths - it's unfortunately a mess, everyone is jumping and splashing around in the big pool. Staff remains idle. It'd be nice if they separated the pool for those who come for a swim.
