The host was friendly and the room is spacious. There is a common kitchen and fridge. The location is 30 minutes by foot from the city center. However it can get noisy, when we were there we were disturbed by road work but it should be less noisy in normal times.

We've received great service at this place, except the chance of leaving our backpacks there after or before we checked in and out. We understood that this is the rule and they cannot provide storage space for backpacks or any personal items, but went for this option regardless, primarily because of the very low price at the time of booking. Location not the best, and it was somewhat noisy, due to its located on a fairly busy road, and our window was facing the street. Plus point for lovely rear garden on the ground floor and the small kitchen that can satisfy any beginners needs for 1-2 days. There's a microwave, fridge, taps with running hot and cold water, tables, coffee machine, kettle. Rooms are spacious, really big, including the bathroom, however the furniture is a little bit old, but it doesn't affect the functionality, of course. Overall, we were happy with the cleanliness, even if it wasn't not immaculate, but the bedsheets, pillows, floor, toilet were absolutely fine and fit to use. Can recommend for short stays.

My son and I enjoyed our 4 night stay here (during a 40° heatwave). Our twin room (on the ground floor) was nice and big (as was the en suite) and whilst there wasn't air conditioning, there was a fan. We had our own lovely outside space with table and chairs and it was a nice little sun trap in the early evening. The shared kitchen was next door to our room. We didn't cook but having access to a fridge was much appreciated especially for bottles of water (and wine). Our room didn't have a hairdryer but TBH my hair dried so quickly I didn't miss it and I'm sure if I'd asked for one, they would probably have obliged. The shower was really good (and we used it a lot, because it was so hot - I'm glad I booked an en suite). Our hosts were very welcoming and spoke really good English when we'd exhausted our Italian language skills. They were also really helpful in recommending local places to eat and there are several supermarkets nearby which was great. The only downside was the noise from the road, right outside our windows. We should have bought earplugs as it (and the heat) made it difficult to sleep (LOTS of sirens). One thing we didn't know before our trip was that on Sundays and Mondays it's harder to find restaurants that are open. We arrived on the Monday and began exploring around the Ponte Vecchio but had to walk miles to find food. We enjoyed a nice day trip to Bologna and flew out of Pisa so we got to see the Leaning Tower (highly recommended). All in all, a great trip and despite the traffic noise, we had a lovely stay at L'Aranceto and it was good value for money. Grazie mille!

Lovely apartment on the top floor with a good atmosphere and all the necessary amenities, however, I did not enjoy the area where the BnB was located... It was not too far out of the centre, but not the nicest area and the balcony looked onto a construction site. I didn't feel super safe walking home late at night alone

I'm an American food and travel writer and editor who has written for Food & Wine and Travel + Leisure in the US, among other places. This lovely B&B is run by my husband Domenico and his partner Mario. They offer superb hospitality and safety. The rooms are super clean and everything is maintained very carefully.

The owner was very nice. Very clean and spacious room with a comfortable bed. Located about a 10 minutes walk from the train station and also located along the Bus 17 route. The only drawback is being on ground level next to a street can be noisy, but isn't bad at night. Would certainly recommend and the price is good.

Clean rooms and bathroom , great building loved the floor and kitchen , easy acess to bus and florence center . We had amazing experience . But the kitchen is closed at night 22 till 8 if u need to wake up early and drink something its not comfortable . Also the guys at the place were not so friendly sometimes . A little bit of noise from the street because the windows are wood .

Decent room, but noisy, and every key has access to any room, so not very secure. Share bathroom is well equipped but often in use and in high demand.

I'd go back just to sit on the terrace and for the kitchen! The room itself was a bit of a disappointment but the apartment / house was beautiful. Dominic was unobtrusive but helpful. Worth the money. I'll go back!!

We really like the hotel with the cute patio and tasty coffee for guests ;) You can easily reach the center of the city by bus or go on foot about 25-30 minutes! Also Mario and Domenico helped us in our time of need, for which we are very grateful. We will always remember this place!
