    When I first arrived I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come check me in. There was no bell at the desk and no one responded when I called out "hello?". Only when I called the main number did the lady come out from the office. She didn't even apologize she just said "yes?" in an irritated tone. Like I was inconveniencing her. I booked a room with a king bed but was given keys to a room with two queens. When I asked about it I was told that they were out of rooms with kings. Again no apology or anything. Just a shrug. I don't understand how they're out when I reserved a room prior to arriving. Then the room has a weird set up. Super small and poor lighting. No table. Coffee maker was in the bathroom. Why? Your guess is as good as mine. Skip this Hampton Inn.

    I requested a room on the bottom floor. When I walked in there was a terrible smell. I immediately asked for a different room. The only thing available was a room on the second floor which was fine. When the elevator door opened on the second floor, there was a a strong odor. Luckily the room didn't smell. It was nice and clean. Service was really good. Breakfast was not so good. As a diamond member staying in plenty of Hampton inns, I know it should have been better.

    Stayed at this hotel twice now on the way back from Big Bend. Great parking space. Front desk and check in were very friendly, warm, and welcoming. Everything in my room look perfect and lovely. My two complaints are somehow they changed their pillows (I had to stacked 3 pillows to feel like I'm using a pillow); and the towels are very thin and rough. These are not the quality that I remember from Hampton Inn chain.

    As a long time Hilton member this has been the least enjoyable Hilton I’ve stayed at. Between the bullet holes in the bedroom window and not accurately representing their pet fees on Hilton.com. I would recommend a stay at another hotel in Fort Stockton. That being said, the staff themselves were friendly and attentive.

    I agree with the other comments of cleanliness and staff. However, being a traveler, the weather reports are absolutely necessary. Guess what - no weather channel at all on their package. Completely unacceptable. I only stayed here because it’s associated with the Best Western that’s fully booked. I only do 10-15 hotel stays per year but guaranteed it will be my last time in a Hampton Inn in Canada or U.S. if you’re traveling and want/need to get the latest changing weather situation don’t stay here.

    These folks were really great! I accidently forgot my medication in the hotel fridge and they very kindly agreed to send it to my final destination. This place was comfortable, clean, and just a nice stay. The pet fee was very reasonable

    Just an addition re this Hampton's breakfast. It was one of the best we've had. There was a variety of items for every taste from eggs & trimmings to pastries, fruit, etc. Also wonderful friendly service.

    We needed a handicapped room as well as another room very close to it. We weren't sure how to do it online, so we called the actual hotel. Desiree was EXTREMELY helpful and friendly and got it done for us. Next day, our handicapped traveler became very ill and was not able to make the trip. The out-of-country phone number I got transferred to was not understandable and the call ended abruptly before our business was concluded. I called the actual hotel and was fortunate enough to get Desiree again, who handled the situation in her very efficient and friendly way. She is a prize employee and we hope to make the trip soon and thank her in person.

    Had an excellent stay during our travels. Room was perfect! Plenty of space for us all. Service was awesome. The breakfast was great and an excellent selection to choose from. Easy access on and off the freeway. Highly recommend this establishment!

    Best rating is 0. Dog lovers really like this hotel. Perhaps that accounts for the hallway’s smelling like feces, urine, ammonia or something else. Our reservation for the room we had paid for was not honored. The room keys didn’t work after going to the room. The shower was hampered by the controller for tub versus shower working improperly. The room was clean. The internet did work. I recommend you find another hotel - Fairfield Inn, La Quinta, etc.

    We always enjoy staying at Hampton Inn Fort Stockton. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the breakfast was complete with a wide variety of choices. The only reason I am giving them a four instead of a five star is that I made a reservation online for a king size bed. As soon as the app allowed, I proceeded to check on online. By the way, I love the online capabilities through the app to reserve, check in, check out, and be given a digital room and hotel key. In this case, the app said only rooms with two queen beds were available. I called the motel. The hotel clerk was friendly and apologetic but stayed the app let’s you reserve rooms that are not available. The IT department needs to address this issue. In addition, we went straight to the room since it was almost 9:30 and tried to use our digital key. It wouldn’t work. I have stayed at a lot of Hampton Hotels since I sleep well in their beds, and have never had a problem with the digital key. I went downstairs and the hotel clerk had keys ready for me and again apologized saying that a lot of times the digital key doesn’t work. As I said, I have stayed at 100s of Hampton over the years and have not had an issue with the digital key. IT needs to address this issue as well.

    I know the term 5 star hotel means upscale. But this place is a 5 star road trip hotel. Clean rooms. Sweet and helpful service. Convenient off the highway. I’d stay here anytime I could for a road trip or otherwise.

    The only real complaint I have about this hotel was the breakfast. The oatmeal was more water than oatmeal. The pork sausage tasted like old turkey sausage and after one bite, it went to the trash. The Texas shaped waffles were very light in color and needed just a little more heat to make it more waffle-like and less pancake like. The potatoes tasted like boiled potatoes and givin' a little fry. Maybe they were yesterday's. The fruit was fruit cocktail. What's up with that? I really had to scrape hard to get brown sugar for the watery oatmeal. We had to ask for regular syrup because it had run out. The eggs looked powdered but were actually pretty good. All but the eggs never got finished... The worst breakfast ever at a Hampton Inn!

    We spent a comfortable night there. It was just what we expected from Hampton, as we frequently stay at their hotels. Only ding on location is that you can't walk to any restaurants, but that's often true for chain hotels. Staff was outstanding - friendly and efficient. Good breakfast spread.

    Fantastic experience here. We were traveling with two dogs and everything was super clean and comfortable. Hallways, grounds and rooms were clean and smelled fresh. Breakfast was good and the staff was helpful and friendly. There’s a little gated area for pets but it’s also nice to just walk around the grounds with the dogs, they enjoyed exploring a little bit. Right off the highway in a good location if you’re traveling through.

    Very nice Hampton inn! Great room, great breakfast, comfy beds! We stay only at Hampton Inns cause of they allow dogs and this was the nicest one we stood at! And the staff was the friendliest.

    Have stayed several times crossing Texas. Perfect location between major cities for rest. Staff is great, rooms are clean. Breakfast is bonus!

    Traveling from Florida to Arizona and out of all the Hamptons we have stayed in so far this one is THE BEST. So clean, great location and awesome front desk staff. Very comfortable, wish they were all like this!

    The room was pretty standard, but the staff was great. The called us less than an hour after we checked out to let us know we'd left my daughter's stuffed toy in the room and held on to it for us until we stayed again on our return trip about a week later.

    Very noisy. Doors will not close with out slamming them. At least it was on the third floor. This of course went on all night. Avoid rooms near stairs on third floor. The rooms were clean. Small dog area in the back of hotel was gated and convenient. Easy freeway access. Pet fee is really high compared to other Hampton Inns.

    The best Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at in years. Nicely appointed with lots of details. Breakfast was outstanding. Love the individual wrapped bread items. To go bag with a bagel was great also. Staff super hospitable. Room was beautiful. Thank you for making our hotel stay so enjoyable.💕💕💕

    I have had lots of good experiences with Hampton Inns, but this was not one of them. Poor attention to maintenance: No running water at all in tub/shower, only discovered in the morning of my one night stay, broken water control. Room phone completely dead, so had to use my cell phone to call the front desk. No maintenance person on-site, and manager not on-site. Front desk said they would comp the room if I had paid foir it, but since I used hotel points they weren’t sure but were hoping to get some accommodations. I checked out and left without showering. Room was otherwise fine, and the breakfast was ok.

    Wish I knew that Hampton Inn had these ADA rooms in all locations. This room was very spacious. Will definitely be requesting this type of room again on our next trip!

    The front desk staff was welcoming, caring empathetic & very professional as my daughter was in the middle of a psychotic episode while we were traveling home. She had run from our car into the lobby ahead of me, very scared & paranoid, and the staff couldn’t have handled it better. Thank you so much for your compassion and Kudos to the Ft Stockton Hampton Inn!!

    I love that this location had a parking for diamond members.. the rooms are always great. The pool area was equipped with towels which is rare, you rate, have to ask for them. Breakfast was maintained and always had plenty of food readily available. Brkfst lady was friendly and kept the tables clean. The only down side was the night audit.. I stood at the front desk for a lil over 5 min. Then walked to the door where you can see the back.. he was sitting there in his video game. I stood there until he seen me.. and I requested some ibuprofen. Other then that.. I recommend this place.

    This was a great room. Very clean and comfortable. When the room's ac stopped cooling the whole room in the middle of the night they found us a fan that helped out. The staff was very friendly and helpful

    We arrived late at night and the night staff was friendly and kind. The rooms were clean, pleasantly decorated and up to date. We slept comfortably, enjoyed the gym and were blown away by breakfast. The hot buffet was delicious, coffee was high quality and the kids loved the waffles. We are already planning on staying here again on the home leg of our road trip.

    We loved this Hampton. We stayed in the king size room, 312. Very clean and very spacious. Everything looked new-ish. Bed was comfy as well.

    Stayed in Handicap Room. Real issues!! Refrigerator plugged in but does not work. Could not pull down blind, as it is electronically controlled & interface missing. So had to be very careful dressing. There were several other issues I identified to desk clerk when I checked out. This hotel requires some real maintenance for this room.

    I am a Hilton Honors member and I stay at Hilton Brand hotels. Always happy and satisfied but will never stay at the Hampton in Fort Stockton. Besides a few things not working properly in the room, the young lady at the night desk was very bothered when I complained about the room and especially when I asked for another room. I even asked to upgrade my room and she said they had nothing to upgrade and she didn't look up for reference. Not Happy!

    The hotel staff is very friendly, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was pretty good. The only issues I had were that we could not find the hotel at night because we were using the directions on the Hilton Honors app. It took us to a deserted area in the dark in a town we are not familiar with. Luckily, the hotel staff member let us know where the hotel was located and we got there pretty quickly. Also, the digital key was not working on that day. So instead of just going to our room, we had to walk all the way around the hotel and walk through the lobby. We traveled from 5:30 am to 9:00 pm that day. We were tired and just wanted to get into our room.
