We had a great dinner in the restaurant terrace overlooking the “woods” in this very attentive and quiet restaurant 12 minutes by car from the Frankfurt Airport. The reception and service was outstanding. The wine list short but well cured. As for the food, the starters where very good and the main course and the dessert where excellent! The weakest part of the menu was unfortunately the pasta, although well presented it lacked some flavor. Overall a magnificent experience, and will definitely be back!

Eating at Carmelo's is an amazing experience. It is like visiting a museum and you can eat the art. Everything is well composed, looks amazing and tastes delicious. The Staff is also very attentive and friendly. In contrast to other critics say, I don't think it is overpriced. But very worth it!

It was a bit disappointing as one would like compare this with the experience at Villa Merton. Though it comes quite short. We were there one evening and have tasted the gourmet menu, it was tasteful although there was nothing that struck us as special. So was therefore surprised why other reviewers are providing lavishly stars.

The most expensive bad food I've ever had in my life! Before going to this place I never doubted the quality of michelin awarded restaurant. The only good thing we ate was pasta, but you can eat same good pasta everywhere, without paying 250 euros per person!!! I wish I had read the reviews beforehand.

Wonderful experience. Perfect tasting menu and very interesting wine card. Great Italian gourmet cooking with very good and quality products. Risotto. Limousin lamb and Italian cheeses.

We’ve spent a lovely evening at Carmelo Greco! Service was friendly and warm. The food was delicious and the wine selection enormous. We loved the tasting menu - especially the fish dish(es). Go for some champagne in the beginning and just enjoy the beautiful atmosphere! Many thanks, will be back.

Sublime. It was unique: we had the six courses menu, and each course was combined with a different glass of wine. Each course was a 360 experience; indeed, every dish was delicious and superlative; furthermore, the wine was an excellent combination that brought each plate to its highest level. The quality of the food was superb as much as its concept, which definitively reflect the Michelin Star. Nonetheless the service was amazing, courtesy and professionalism are the best way to describe it. We warmly recommend Carmelo Greco.

After Reading the reviews, one thing seemed to be clear. People either loved this place or were totally disappointed. To make long story short: we loved it. I was curious how Italian cuisine and Michelin star style would mix and now I have the answer. Our food was great, creative and very tasteful. I had the vegetarian menu and my friend the meat & fish menu. Both were excellent and on the same level when it comes to the love for detail and presentation. I have an assumption why some people wrote that the food tasted like "nothing" or "bland". I guess they were expecting the classic Italian food style with lots of pasta and a creamy tomato sauce. If you're looking for that, you're wrong here. But if you want a 6 or 7 course menu on a Michelin star level different from the usual French style cuisine and paired with excellent wine recommendations then you should definitely give Carmelo Greco a try. The tastes were manifold, sometimes more on the subtle side, but always a great and fitting blend. And you will leave the restaurant neither too full nor hungry and very satisfied. The waiters are extremely friendly, funny and even switched effortlessly to English for my American friend. If you are looking for a quiet (but not boring) place to have a great evening with excellent food that is a bit different than the usual star cuisine then this is the place to go.

Compared to other Michelin restaurants that I tried, Carmelo was less experimental and more traditional (Italian), but this doesn’t make it worse. Everything was good, but the fillet was extraordinary

The food here was excelent and filling. Given the price the dishes were well balanced and the right portion and the wine was very good. Overall this is one of the best culinary experiences. Totally recommend.

What an experience. The dishes were consistent, very balanced in taste and delightful. Pace of serving good and the service immaculate. My favourite restaurant in Frankfurt

Very nice experience of Italian tastes at the heart of Frankfurt. Signature starter was not so wow, but the sauces with Scallops (Jakobsmuscheln) and ravioli was really game changer. Main course fish dish was better than beef one. Dessert (cheese and sorbet, and ice cream) was perfect in taste and texture. Ambiance is nice but not in Michelin Level. I recommend it.
