Exceptional! We had a lovely family breakfast. Café Heimelig is a special place. Friendly service, beautifully decorated, nice atmosphere, friendly and professional service, delicious homemade food... what more could one ask for?! Thank you to all involved for providing us with such a special treat.

FOOD & DRINKS I somehow always end up picking the carrot cake most of the time. This was no exception. The carrot cake was delicious, very moist but a bit too sweet for my tastebuds. The cacao was good as well. SERVICE Friendly service. ATMOSPHERE Very nice place with modern vintage interior design. RATING Definitely worth a visit!

Breakfast was good - well composed proposal, where you can choose from various positions to fine-tune it to your taste. Tasted well - all fresh, not too witty, but up to the point. Quantity was also just right. The only disappointing thing was the waiting time - over half an hour is just too much for a cold dish breakfast. If the management reads - pls consider this friendly advice!

A hidden gem tucked away in the quiet residential area in Bockenheim. Delicious coffee and has a great choice of breakfast menu and home-made cakes. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Nice to place to drop by if you are in the neighbourhood.

This is the only place that I ever had a none dry as bones Frankfurter Kranz cake. It looked moist and it was and I am amazed. You can also get the cakes as take away, so if there are no seats available, you can still get your fix! 100% recommended

Hidden gem and one of (if not) the nicest cafe in the north of Bockenheim. They have some interesting food options. Great quality and leans more to the healthy vegetarian/vegan side. Would have been perfect had they offered full English breakfasts but that is a huge ask even in Frankfurt.

Stumbled upon this café by chance, and loved everything about it - from the grandma-/homely-theme and interiors, to the coffee and cake, and service! Will visit again the next time I'm in this neighborhood. :) Edit: visited again a year later. This time for a Sunday brunch. The scrambled eggs were also really delicious. 😋 This time I took some pictures of the interiors as well.

I only recently discovered this place and I am very happy I did. We ordered breakfast to share which was really nice (make sure to include the marmalade and the chocolate spread to your breakfast, they are delicious!) - although noting that a small yoghurt would have been perfect as an addition to the platter. The coffee was also really good but I was a bit disappointed we had to pay extra for a teaspoon of honey in the tea. Although we were there a few minutes after they opened, we were lucky to get the last available table and I would recommend making a reservation upfront as this cafe is really popular.

very cute place with a very big variety of cakes!! service was super kind and patient, i asked for recommendations and they told me their personal favourites. coffee was good, i had a vegan cake as well (a bit dry but apart from that just right). you can also have breakfast here which i’ll definitely try out as well! :)

Cafe Heimelig offers a delightful experience. The staff is very friendly, creating a warm atmosphere. Their homemade food is fantastic, and the coffee is truly excellent. It's a perfect spot for delicious meals, and top-notch coffee.

This café has a cozy ambience. Here you´ll feel like your at home, only difference is that cake and coffee is exceptionally good! :-) For all vegans: you can order your coffe with soy milk - thats proper for 2022. The staff is very kind. You can pay with cash or by card. :-)

Amazing cakes made by fantastic people! I live locally and I always enjoy popping by! Takeaway coffee is perfect and they use the ReCup system. But dining in for an afternoon treat is amazing! Staff are friendly and it’s cozy in the winter!

Wonderful place. Great coffee, cakes, beers and service. It's a very popular place, but still we found great seatings both times we went. I especially recommend the carrot cake and their pale ale. :-)

This is very nice place with delicious croissants, cheese cake and coffee, located and calm and silent area. I can definitely recommend. PS: no English menu :)

Coffee is one of the best in the area, they have home made cookies, but come for the coffee its quite good and in Germany good coffee is not easy to find
