When I go to the Gahanna Grill, I think of comfort food, because that is what they were known for back in the day mashed potatoes, gravy, cube steak, that kind of stuff. However, I was very impressed with how upscale their food selections were. They even had a spicy shrimp appetizer on fried zucchini, wow. The draft beer was nice and cold and the seafood platter that I got was very good for $21.99. Haddock, shrimp, and scallops and comes with two sides. I got the baked potato and salad. Everything was nice portions.

Grew up in Gahanna but had never been here - regret it! There’s a little parking lot for the restaurant and the space is unassuming but homey. The service is friendly; Caleb is great and very attentive. The beanie burger is satisfying with various toppings and comes with crispy fries, and a great value at a little over $12. Would definitely come again - good food, great value, nice people, and cozy space.

Relaxing meal outside on a nice sunny day. Fried zucchini was excellent, salmon salad was just average, the fries are quite good. They are crispy yet fluffy on the inside. The kids had cheeseburgers which were flavorful. My Cajun melt was delicious.

Stopped in for a quick bite before leaving town. The service was great. The food was hot and fresh, and the burger was amazing. There was ton's of flavor and cooked perfectly. The French fries crisp and hot. The slaw was different but great on the burger, a little bland as a side. I had the spicy shrimp fried zucchini as an appetizer, and they were tasty. Not spicy at all could have used more heat for sure. I wanted to try the pretzel bites, but they were out of them... so next time! I'm definitely coming back for the fries and burgers.

This was our first time in... The service was awesome - their wait staff interacted well with all the customers. The food not only came out quickly it was delicious. I had their famous burger - hamburger with cheese, Bacon, Cole slaw, lettuce, tomato, and onions which was delicious. I also had the onion rings as one of my sides which were good but there were only 5 of them. The other side was the Cole slaw was I loved. Wifie had a salmon salad with red vinegarette dressing.which she commented on how good it was and how much salmon it had. This is a really good place worth a try...

Nice place. Good food! Service was okay but I was very patient due to the server being busy. Did not a drink refill but did not ask either. I would return.

1st visit, & I'll be back! I really enjoyed lunch on the patio. The waitress was really good, it was like she was an old friend! Very interesting menu options, & "Taco Thursday" ROCKS!

Absolutely the best all American burger restaurant that I have ever eaten in Ohio. It was a last minute choice after my mom decided she didn't want to have breakfast in the morning and I Google it and was remarked at how many reviews it received so I figured h let's go and try it and it definitely did not disappoint me whatsoever. The burgers were so good that I called my husband after he finished working out from the gym for him to come eat and now he is craving their Chicken Sandwich. The portions were great I didn't feel like I was still hungry after I left there and the food tastes great because it is made to order. The staff are friendly and fun it's just an overall great restaurant and definitely if you're in the area you have to try their burgers and their sweet potato fries were amazing and just in case anyone feels like it's not enough food for them they have a huge Burger Challenge . MAYBE NEXT TIME..

GET A BURGER!!! Man the burgers here so amazing! HUGE you really need to bring your appetite, but they are so good and the onion rings!!! Go there for the onion rings. You had better be hungry there's nothing small about the portions, the people are always extremely nice I love going here for meal and you want an experience that was like "Cheers" when you were growing up. It's a cute comfortable place. Get a burger and onion rings!!!

This place is great! The burgers are amazing, and the homemade sauces (bleu cheese, ranch, beanie sauce) are some of the best around. I haven't had anything other than sandwiches, but it never disappoints. The only drawback is lack of seating at times, as it is a smaller space.

I like bars like this, and bar food. After trying the beanie burger, chicken fingers, and several other items I can safely say foodwise this place is solid. Service at the bar is really great daytime(Thanks Sam and Diana!). Avoid the bar at night, we, along with other bar patrons, received really poor service.

Cozy hole in the wall serving up pub favorites like cheese burgers, ruebens, chicken fingers, etc. Stopped in with the fam and was seated immediately. The establishment interior is on the small side but has outdoor seating if the weather is nice. Burger was made to perfection as well as all the other food we ordered. worth a try

Had a brief stint in town in July, and I'm happy we stopped here. We looked over the menu and had a hard time deciding what to eat because everything sounded good, and the place smelled amazing. We all decided on the meatloaf special. It was amazing!! The meatloaf was juicy and flavorful, the mashed potatoes were tasty, the green beans with bacon were delicious. Service was great. Sad we couldn't stop again on our way back through town. Highly recommend. be warned though parking is horrible.

Good Lord, if you haven't been here, you're missing out. First bite of the burger and I started laughing at the guy who ordered the salad. I've had burgers my whole life and let me tell you something... When you, on occasion get one that makes you step back and say "oh damn"... You know it's damn good. Go get some. The sweet tea is on point too. Thanks Y'all!

Nice place with great food. On Monday nights all hamburgers are $10. Super deal! If you go, bring your appetite and try their famous Beanie Burger! You won’t be disappointed!! Lots of other great choices as well.

This was my first time at the restaurant! It wasn't crowded. It is very nice inside for a small restaurant & clean. The people are friendly! Our waiter was Sam. He was so nice, he was also the bar 🍺🍻 tender. Sam was multitasking very well. Me & one of my girlfriends was playing catch up because we hadn't seen each other in 2 years so we were yapping🤣🤣🤣🤣, Sam would come by to see if we were ready to order finally he said throw your hand ✋🏽 up to let him know we were ready😂🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣. He was very patient & fun to talk to. Please don't 😂 😭 😭 😭 😭 we stayed about 4 hours, Sam did his thing periodically asking us if we needed anything. I Enjoyed Sam as our waiter. This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is excellent, service is always great. It's a neighborhood restaurant where you see lots of regulars however they make room for newcomers. Their burgers are amazing.

Fries were twice fried overcooked grease sticks. There was no "potato" left in the'- fries. Fish sandwich was fantastic! Service was good, vibe was good.

Shared a full rack dinner with my wife. Huge full rack portion more than enough for two people. Meat very tender. Super good value. Friendly, attentive, and fast service.

Great food, appetizer came out quick, food came out quick. Unfortunately my wife's meal was wrong, my SIL never got a salad she ordered, and we had to ask for ranch and dipping sauces multiple times before we ended up getting them. Patio was awesome and once again, the food was very good, just wish the service was a little better. Would go again though if in the area.

My wife and kids came here for the first time on Friday with a friend and she loved the burger so naturally I decided we should go the following day so I could tag along and try it. I ordered the Some Like It Hot burger (bacon, pepper jack cheese, grilled onion, garlic Sriracha mayo) and loved it. The burgers are huge and have lots of flavor. It's often disappointing ordering a burger and the patty itself is flavorless and it's up to the toppings to add flavor but that definitely wasn't the case here. The Sriracha mayo had a nice bit of heat to it too which was nice since it seems like a lot of times when you order a spicy burger it's not really that spicy. As far as the sides—the fries were awesome and crispy and the coleslaw (while I've never seen any as finely minced) was delicious and sweet. We definitely plan on coming back and making this our de facto burger spot since we live just 5 minutes away.

Ordered food to go and at that time they were very short staffed so not the best experience. My food was ready and the one person working sat multiple tables of new people that walked in after I greeted him first and told me go stand in a corner near the register right next to my food as it was getting cold and fries not worth eating. Just my experience. The food was decent nothing amazing. Probably would taste better eating in. I may check out it again just Probably not to go and when theyre not short staffed. It happens. Pricing also kinda meh. Its debatable if its a good value. Place is a little dingy and dirty looking. Dust in a lot of areas but very local spot.

Monday night is burger night. Got a Patty Melt Deluxe. Add bacon, pickles, mayonnaise and barbecue sauce. Onion rings and a large Cole slaw. Bill was $14 plus cents. Real good! Will return for same thing on Monday night. It's discounted on Monday's.

Use to be great, ordered 2 🐟 fish sandwiches, took 45 minutes. And then I get 1 fish and a hamburger, waiter took back fish came out but for got fries , paid and left. What happen to the best friendly homtown restaurant?

Big meals and big tastes! Home style cafe with unexpected extras. The sweet potato fries were amazing! Great family atmosphere with quick, friendly service late in the evening. Reasonable prices too!

Excellent food, reasonable prices, great cooks, and attentive wait staff are the norm for this restaurant/bar in Gahanna. This is my third time that to try the food menus, different each time, and I was impressed with the quality of meals. And, the quick and efficient way the ordered meal is handled by the wait staff and cooks so you have your food in a timely manner. I highly recommend the restaurant.

Learned that the famous Beanie Burger is not named after famed OSU running back Beanie Wells. It was so good that maybe he was named after the burger! Get the Beanie sauce, the recipe is a secret and only one person knows it. She's been there forever and plans to never leave. Get the coleslaw on the burger!
