My
visit
to
Bob
Evans
left
me
with
mixed
feelings.
I
opted
for
the
Alaskan
Cod
with
carrots
and
corn,
hoping
for
a
wholesome
dining
experience.
The
cod
was
undoubtedly
the
highlight
of
the
meal.
It
was
cooked
to
perfection,
with
a
crispy,
golden-brown
exterior
that
gave
way
to
flaky,
tender
fish
inside.
The
portion
was
generous,
making
it
a
satisfying
choice.
However,
the
side
vegetables,
carrots,
and
corn
were
a
bit
underwhelming.
They
lacked
the
vibrancy
and
flavor
I
expected.
The
carrots
were
overcooked,
losing
their
natural
sweetness
and
becoming
somewhat
mushy.
The
corn,
while
decent,
didn't
stand
out
either.
Service
was
friendly
and
efficient,
with
my
meal
arriving
promptly.
The
restaurant
had
a
cozy,
family-friendly
atmosphere,
which
added
to
the
overall
experience.
Despite
the
hit-and-miss
sides,
the
Alaskan
Cod
was
the
star
of
the
show
at
Bob
Evans.
If
you're
primarily
in
the
mood
for
seafood,
it's
a
solid
choice.
However,
I'd
recommend
exploring
other
side
options
to
enhance
the
overall
dining
experience.
