Well i took my daughter on a trip to see an Ed Sheran concert in the UK. We decided to tour through Ireland on our way there. My daughter wanted to stop here at O'Conno's Famous Pub where the Galway girl video was filmed. What an amazing pub so much Character and so many cool antiques hanging on the wall. We arrived at openeing and it allowed us to really check out all the cool stuff. At 9 or 930 pm a really cool Irish band came to play music it was great. Definatly my favorite Pub in Ireland.

Hands down my most favorite pub in Ireland. Decorated for Christmas, it’s a dream! Frank O’Connor is the most lovely & gracious pub owner in the land. Come here, cozy up by the fire, listen to some fantastic music and make new friends. You’ll be back… trust me!

Cosiest ever pub I have visited in my life! Sitting near the fireplace while the Irish turf warms you is one of a kind experience.

I love a dark moody pub. Ok this place is not really moody, more like bustling but it's definitely dark, lots of things to look at almost like a museum to pub kitsch, and live music..what more could you ask for?

Wonderful atmosphere! The pub filled with antiques like clocks, gas lights, sewing machines etc. Traditional music every night. Absolutely the most original pub in Galway and definitely one of the best in town! It's a must in Galway.

(Translated by Google) Very nice and typical pub, the beer remains a benchmark, the snacks offered are up to par. A nice general atmosphere for a relaxing evening. (Original) Pub bien sympathique et typique, la bière reste une référence, les snacks proposés sont à la hauteur. Une belle ambiance générale pour une soirée de détente.

I wish I could give it 10 stars! It was an experience. The ambience, live music and roaring fire was perfect for our last night in Galway. John, his daughter and the bartenders were so kind. By the end of the evening we felt like family. (Thank you for the recommendation, Steve and Amy from Boston 😉)

Our group was double charged for two drink orders from the same barman, only noticed later when checking our bank statements. We were charged €32.80 for 4 baby Guinness and €21.60 for a pint of Heineken and a pint of Carlsberg. Poor form will not be returning.

Lovely to be able to sit inside. Great place with lovely staff. Everyone doing their very best to comply during these difficult times. Wouldn’t have missed it. This was part of our Wild atlantic way tour (Well as much as we can do in a week!) Grand.

0 stars! Watered down drink right in front of me! I ordered a double whisky of Glenmorangie I saw on the shelf, while I was standing there, the young bartender called to the owner for another bottle because he didn’t have enough and the customer (me) ordered a double. But there wasn’t any more. The owner turned his back to the bar and soon after I received “a double” that was watered down. Maybe because I am American, and they thought I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference? But for over €16, this is LESS than one star. Such a poor taste and impression for “authentic” Irish pubs.

Live music sounded great. Was a busy Friday night but got servers extremely quickly. Was very warm inside so ended up sitting outside as it was a very nice evening. Would love to come back here and get in a little earlier to get a seat and few beers in Only downside was the €10 card minimum, my wife doesn't drink alcohol so a pint and a lemonade came up short of this total. It's all good though, I just had 2 pints instead of one. The barman did offer for me to have it later but I'm not one to turn down a double pint on a warm night :")

Great pub...delicious pints with live music every night of the week. Covered in quirky knick knacks to while away some time looking at them all and wondering what they were used for. Highly recommend giving a visit of an evening in Galway.

If you are in Salthill or Galway, make sure you pay a visit. It's a bit quirky. We visited recently. At the door, Covid-19 certs were asked for as well as ID. On one of the nights, there was live music, great to hear this again. The clientele present enjoyed the music, nothing like pre Covid-19 of course. All table service and I can tell you that they were kept busy but they were very efficient. So make sure to pay a visit.

Fabulous decor. Loved the tables Singer Sewing Machines. Brought me back in time. Great bar service the blond barman was very jolly. Great music not too loud so easy to chat. I actually spoke with the manage & gave positive view on the establishment. Best of luck for the future.

We came here cause Ed Sheeran shoot part of his music video here. It looks really interesting with all the stuff hanging around. The people there were really nice and the musician last Thursday (18.05) was really good. But it was so loud u couldn’t nearly hear anyone that was little bit difficult when u want to order something. But everyone was nice and the drinks very good

We obviously had to go to the pub where Ed Sheeran filmed the Galway Girl music video, and we’re glad we did. It was a quick bus ride from the Latin Quarter but you can easily walk it as well. There were a lot of seats inside and they had live music with a really great singer. Credit cards and cash accepted. The atmosphere was casual and the decor was fun. The crowd was varied in ages and the overall scene seemed to be a mix of tourists and locals.

Was fortunate to celebrate my 50th here. The lovely bar keep let me pull my own pint of Guinness which is the memory of a lifetime. No eating took place so can't comment on the food but the several beers that were bought for me were, uh, I can't seem to remember but I think they were probably very good... From what I vaguely recall of the decor it was a bunch of antiques (or monkeys perhaps) hanging off the ceiling. Go here and you can expect to have a wonderful time.

A great pub - and one that I recommend as a 'must' to all of the international students that attend my language school. The interior is just amazing to see, a fantastic clutter of objects new and old. But far more than that, it is a family bar that clearly takes pride in the service they offer. AND, these guys make a HUGE contribution to the locality

Beautiful place. But the only pub I have seen to researve tables. Going there for the last 5 years. Looking forward to a good night last night as have not been out since July .my husband and Iarrived early to get a seat only to discover all tables reserved for friends and family of the staff and management. Like a lot more people we left and afraid will never go back again

(Translated by Google) Spectacular pub, not only for its picturesque decoration (full of typical details of the area), but also for the atmosphere that is generated inside. Many of the tables with old sewing machines, musical decorative elements can be found in any corner if you look closely. In this establishment you can find a great variety of beers and ciders. Also be delighted with live music. It is a unique place that I definitely have to return to.
