Tig Cóilí
Pub
👍👍 We stopped for a pint and stayed for a couple because the music and atmosphere were great. After dinner we stopped again for another pint and more music. It’s the best place in Galway for traditional Irish music (at least today!)

Taaffes Bar
Pub
👍👍 Wonderful traditional Irish pub. We stopped in for an afternoon pint. The place was packed, but some gracious guests offered seats with them. We were able to get our beers quickly and had nice conversation with other guests. The music was lively and not too loud. We can’t wait to return.

Taylor's Bar & Beer Garden
Bar
😠 Myself and some friends were down in Galway for a night out recently. A friend of mine recommended Taylor’s as it was a Monday and the quiz was on. Fortunately we had a good time during the quiz, coming second and winning a €75 tab, however, afterwards when we tried to order drinks and a bartender b...

Monroe's Tavern
Gastropub
😠 Almost beyond belief.... we had an absolutely shocking experience with Monroes on Saturday night. We reserved an area for 20 odd people for my sister's hen on Saturday night but were advised on Monday last that the area would be an outdoor and not an indoor area. On Saturday, we asked in advance i...

Harry's Galway
Bar
😐 Used to absolutely love Harry’s before it’s rebrand (haven’t been since covid). Was a bit disappointed with our visit even though we were one of the first orders of the day and it wasn’t busy yet. Maybe we caught them on a bad day but overall we remember it being so much better. Not much of a greeti...
