They were wonderful! Left two birthday cards & truffle boxes for our birthdays (see pictures)! Had laundry done-GREAT job (&we didn't have to do it on our vacation)! If you don't mind driving around 15minutes into Galway - this is the place.

A good hotel. Nothing special about it. We didn't eat there. And no residents bar. Beds were very comfortable. You will take a taxi or hire car if you want to visit Galway city

Fabulous rooms new redecorated. Extremely impressed and tye breakfast was very good and would definitely come back to stay . Leisure area needs updating, especially having the womens changing room upstairs from the pool is a healthand safety risk could easily slip. But all in all, lovely staff and great spot when staying in Galway and Tom Sheridans bar and restaurant 4 min walk from the Hotel absolutely brilliant spot for live music and great atmosphere.

Great hotel with friendly and professional staff. Dinner and breakfast were both good. The only down side was the loud music coming from a private event within the hotel until 12am. Overall good experience. Would stay again once the price was right.

Very Very disappointing. All started in the restaurant. Restaurant Manager snap at my grand daughter, told her to hush up. Chiefs we’re Moody, Food was average cold. Member of staff rudely stated that we can’t sit at a member family at table you can’t sit at that table it’s reserved. 3 times we tried to get into our room with a small child the door failed to open, up and down the lift we had to go eventually a member of staff had to come up and open the door. I have say that in all the hotels I have been, this has been the most stressful, unhelpful, rude experience I have ever encountered. I would strongly advised anyone that is considering to visit this appalling hotel especially with small child not and I repeat not book this hotel. It is most certainly not children friendly. We went for a so call swim in the so call leisure centre. Water in the pool was freezing, we had forgot our towels, we asked staff if they could get some, we were rudely told that is not our problem we are not attached to the hotel. We had to use our OWN CLOTHES to dry ourselves off. It certainly appears that the staff at this hotel are very unhappy, in there working environment. Most of them walk, around miserable. Senior Management, Company director’s, share holders, need to get there act together as this, is not good enough, hold a conference meeting as soon as possible to deal with this very serious issue. Remember think before you book this “ BED and TERRIBLE Break fast - 3 degrees rating so called hotel. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. And as for any apologies from you so called owner, and Managers don’t bother you should hang your heads in Shame. Nasty People

Horrible experience. First of all got the room which was not serviced after the last use (pic attached) and we asked for a different room which they gave but it had a glass of cocktail spilled right infront of the door which we had to jump and cross to enter the room, and finally they gave us a third room which was slightly better but rooms are dark and not well maintained. The pool and sauna does not belong to the hotel but some fitness centre, it’s really good though. Definitely not going to visit again. Management- 2/5 Cleanliness-2/5 Amenities- 3/5 Overall- 2/5

The hotel was lovely the staff were very nice and caring. There was one thing wrong with the rooms as they had no air conditioning. It was so hot i nearly passed out. And my window was open if your wondering.

Great service. Always friendly and useful. Food was excellent. Large parking The rooms were big with comfortable beds but not refurbished as per pictures. The bathrooms were roomy but dated with broken fixtures, plastic shower curtains and we saw few silverfishes. Noisy at night (Noise from other residents)

Excellent stay in newly renovated room, ideal location between Salthill and Galway city. The breakfast was lovely with a lot of options. Very accomodating staff who assisted us. The food in the restaurant was exceptional with a lot of choice. Gym and pool was really good, lots of families and classes. Will be in Galway again next month and have already booked my stay

Great service from Constantino the bar manager today! Excellent attention to detail and lots of patience while I pondered over the many herbal tea options! :)

Nice modern reception area and bar layout. Breakfast greasy, not the best. Swimming pool same depth 4ft. 8in throughout which wasn't suitable for learners and those not confident in water. It's should state this on hotel website description of pool.

Had a meal here. Two chicken burgers and chips which were excellent. Accompanying side salad unfortunately had no dressing.

There were friendly and helpful staff here. Nice, clean and warm rooms. There is the leisure centre here with pools for adult and kids. Also they have outdoor hot tube and it's so relaxing experience.

This hotel rates itself as being four Star. However, this is definitely not reflected nor evident from the front of house staff or other service staff. Standard of food (particularly room service) is bismal. The standard of hygiene is appalling particularly in regards to the serving of food & drink. Seriously lacking in attention to detail. It's very evident that the staff in this hotel require urgent training & to up date their skills in dealing with the guest in a courteous & diligent manner! However, once the manager was made aware of the fiasco that unfolded from check in right through to the food he stepped in immediately acted professionally & rectified this matter promptly! I would be very hesitant to recommend this Hotel now or for the future.

Grand spacious room, all very clean. Very nice food in O'Gorman's (hotel bar/bistro), live music playing at night we were there by Vinny, good selection of music & interacted with the children & adults present. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Good swimming pool & gym with steam room, sauna & outdoor hot tub. Free hotel parking spaces. Pleasant staff. Not too far from Prom at Salthill.

A lovely hotel. Room was nicely decorated, spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. This hotel has one of the best hotel gym/classes I've seen, very impressed.Has an outdoor jacuzzi and we observed people enjoying a glass of prosecco there. Had dinner in the bar, very high quality, we were one night too early for the music. The location isn't central and we needed to drive to Salthill and Galway city (neither are a long drive but you would need a taxi on a night out). There's free parking too. Only issue a TV remote wasn't working and my Mother who wanted to watch couldn't, despite reporting it twice the issue wasn't sorted. Would recommend this hotel for families and those happy to stay on site in the evening as we were.

We stayed here many times before and found it to be excellent the staff were very helpful and friendly especially the breakfast manageress... the location is great there's a bus stop outside the hotel which travels to Eyre square. The hotel has been revamped and its looking great. I would recommend a stay here....

It's a nice hotel but room heating was a disaster, hotter than a heatwave and staff could not reduce (they were as helpful as they could be). Windows fully open (bypassing child safety locks) but still not not possible to sleep in the heat.

Food was lovely, staff very helpful and room was clean. Extremely disappointed with the pool it was extremely cold app there are ongoing issues with it. When you pick the hotel because of the pool and you have a 13yr old child with you it's not ideal.

This hotel is listed as 4 star . In reality it's really not. Room has no fridge or safe . We were served bacon for breakfast with green spots on it . Location is top notch. Rooms were renovated recently enough but attention to detail not great . One shower was blocked up . Damage to bathroom door . Even some graffiti beside the mirror in one of the bathrooms . All this would be tolerable other than we spent over 800 euro for 2 nights stay for 2 rooms .

Gym was so interesting and different rooms. It's such a nice place. And the pool wow. The sauna and jacuzzi outside is ideal. This place is a treat to supplement into your weekly schedule. We had to ware masks which I wasn't happy with but not when we were working out or in the showers which was good.

Planned a weekend away with friends. I suggested this place to my friends because I stayed here a couple of years ago.10 of us booked it for 2 nights wasn't cheap €400 per room with no breakfast or dinner.. I booked its through the website for myself and one of the other couples So 2 rooms got a email for the hotel to say they confirmed my cancellation. Which I thought was strange.. Called them the next day to find out what was going on.. Told me my card didn't go through. Which was strange I booked 2 room on my card and only one was cancelled how do you explain that🤔 There's not we can do..so had to cancel my friends room to and book through a 3rd party website using the same card Very unprofessional Speaking to some of the other customers we weren't the only ones that had problems think you my need to look a retraining your staff

Nice hotel but upon arrival was told no baby cot was requested which there had been and I even phoned to make sure a cot would be in the room upon arrival. Receptionist argued with us at first about it not being requested and then sorted it out. I felt it was a hassle for her to get it sorted. Breakfast is a bit of a mess as cereal, pastries in one room and then you must walk to another room to get hot breakfast. Food is very good in the bar/ restaurant and the staff in the bar/restaurant are brilliant especially Una and Grace.

This was our second visit to this Hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and staff friendly. I felt however that while the food was tasty, the menu could be a bit more varied. Overall a very pleasant stay, we will return.

Just back from a 2 day stay at Clybaun Hotel. Room was lovely. We only had breakfast on both days which was really good. A big thank you to Breda she’s a lovely lady, went above and beyond for us, really good at her job 👍🏼 Will definitely stay again, hopefully for Xmas markets this year.. well done, keep up the good work

Stayed at the hotel last night. Hotel itself is lovely, nice and clean and newly refurbished. However the dinner was not great. Starters great, mains were very slow and poor. I got rib eye steak with just the steak, chips and 2 tomatoes. We had to ask for sauce but not as described on the menu, desserts also lovely. Staff were nice but not very helpful, not told how to get to my room nor where breakfast was going to be etc. They just didn't impress but were polite and friendly.

So thrilled with the Clybaun, perfect for our wedding. Friendly staff, great food and cocktails. Especially Pat who is so incredibly professional and helpful, and George who has an eye for detail and couldn't do enough to make us feel special. Huge thanks

Had a christening party in the hotel, staff couldn't have been more helpful. Food was lovely and plentiful, the chef even came out to make sure we were happy. The central enclosed garden was a brilliant place for the children to play whilst we sat in the conservatory,. Overall a fantastic day only improved by the Clybaun.

A lovely hotel with great facilities, however I couldn't order a simple Caesar salad at 8pm when the kitchen was closing at 8.30/45. The leisure center also didn't sell swimming togs, it was unfortunate as I had forgotten mine. A little far from Galway city center, but close enough to walk to Salthill

We spent 5 night at this hotel room, was ok perfect clean ,TV and comfortable bed, bathroom clean and fragrant towels. The worst thing about this hotel is the breakfasts, which is when I have to stand, waiting for the chef to serve me to my plate is a joke ??? There is no choice at all, there were no fruits or vegetables for the children, I understand that this is Irish cuisine, but you can ensure it at a minimum. Unfortunetaly I am very disappointed because the website has a nice description and in fact it is bad. The reception desk is very nice and tries to serve the customer very nice.

Staff are lovely and helpful, can't fault them. The room where clean and lovely. The pool was nice with all the natural light shining in. The only thing I can pick on is that there was no little menu for breakfast to say what is on offer like pancakes. They might have a good reason for not having it. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family . Had a lovely time there with my wife and daughters aged 9&10.

Loved this hotel. Mostly due to the kind staff that cant do enough for you. Breakfast staff was lovely. And it really makes a difference. Treats given to kids when we checked in. I cant wait to come back.
