Sorry for the bad photos... but the food was too damn good to even remember to take nice pictures first!! This was the most amazing asian food I had in a long time. Amazing service, food, warm plates to share the food, great size portions. Do try the chicken skewers!!

I enjoyed my meal but it wasn’t exactly as described in the menu. It stated chicken with pineapple and chills however there was only one piece of pineapple and one chili. The mixed vegetables were so so. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt.

Great cocktails, good food, nice decoration and attentive staff. The wait times were slightly long and the price point makes it definitely an "occasional treat" kind of place rather than a regular haunt but highly recommended nevertheless.

This place is truly incredible. It has a curry dish that I truly believe is the best curry I have ever tasted. The flavors are so well developed, it's hard to explain but just go. It also serves incredible cocktails. I was a little overwhelmed with the food and drink menu but the staff was so nice and took the time to suggest and explain so many things. Honestly some of the best Thai I have ever had and I wish I was wealthy enough to get them to open a restaurant in the USA. But honestly what really took the cake was how nice and understand the staff was. We got incredibly sunburned (I know in Ireland, we weren't expecting it either) and wanted to sleep more than eat and they recognized that and took care of us. Everytime I'm in Galway for the rest of my life I'm going to stop here.

Great place to eat and drink but felt drinks were a bit pricey. No wine under €30 for a bottle but great food and lovely staff

One of the best restaurants in Galway. Customer service was amazing and the Korean chicken wings as a starter were delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and there was a wide choice of cocktails available. The main course dishes were incredibly nice and filling and definitely worth the price.

Beautiful place to dine if you're in Galway City, the food is beautiful. I visit this restaurant every time I'm in Galway its a real treat, the tea is exceptional 👌 highly recommend for a chill evening after roaming the cobbled streets. The cocktails are also very good. A great effort is mad with all food and drink xxx

Amazing food! One of my favourite restaurants here in Galway. It's always quite busy so I would recommend getting a reservation.

Besides having dined in a lot of good restaurants, I am an avid home cook. So I recognize quality, effort, and attention to detail. Check all three. Random wandered in here on a busy Saturday, quarter to six, immediately seated and served. By the time we left, the place was packed, and no wonder. Food is just stellar. Service is attentive, professional. Love the decor, appropriate without a hint of kitsch. Almost hip. Bravo! Quiet despite fairly close quarters. Good wine list, drafts, and intriguing cocktail menu .Prices in line/excellent value. Easily in my top ten.

The overall three-star rating is to support a local business in such a hard time. Food- 3 stars, just fine. I only tried one curry which was not impressive. And simplest plain rice charged extra nearly 3 euros, which has never seen in other Asian restaurants I have tried in Galway. Cocktail- 4 stars. Good taste good feature. There are a long list of cocktail to choose. Tried the Asian Tea Gin, worth to try but not for drinkers who look for large size of drinks. Service- 2 stars only to the girl who took our oder. She was friendly. But the manager worth only 1 star!!!!!!This is the reason I leave my very first comment on Google. Walked in and booked a table for 7:45pm on a Thursday night FACE TO FACE with the manager (I assumed this only guy who wore suite in the restaurant is the manager. I know the owners are lovely Asian couple). I was told by him the ONLY indoor table I could book for that time was the table like a bar table and would be free WHOLE night. Arrived at the restaurant at 7:20pm. My friend and I were told that we arrived too early and if we booked a table at 7:45pm and we should not be in the restaurant earlier than that time. I asked if we could sit at a table in the garden to wait and this manager said yes but we would have to leave that table in 5 mins as it was booked as well. Well, so we went for a walk till we can be seated at 7:45pm. As soon as we left the restaurant, this manager called me and tried to convince me that I wanted to book a table at 7:45pm but he confirmed with me with a reservation at 8:45pm. I was shocked and upset. Wow, that's too much. DO NOT EVER try to convince a customer that she/ he makes a mistake which she/ he did not!!! That is terrible. If there are other customers cut in the que, just tell the truth. I would be so happy to spend my time and money somewhere else instead of in a place that managed by someone like him and being accused of making a mistake which I DID NOT! And I hope there is no other reasons that this manager treated me and my friend like this ( we are both colored females). This ruined my whole experience at the restaurant that I have been looking forward to visiting. Suggestion- Please clarify to any customer that the simplest plain rice is not a free side dish included in any meal in the restaurant when taking order.

Good service. Food was nice, but unremarkable. I had a monkfish curry - fish was a little overcooked. They have a very big menu, so maybe there's better things than we ordered on it.

The Poh Pia spring rolls were great. I also had the Vietnamese lime pork which was very good. Get the black rice for something different. My companion ordered the red curry duck and thought it was good. Lots of starters, noodle dishes, curries etc available. Great service.

The food is great! We've had a few different dishes and everything was outstanding. Also the staff were profesional, helpful and super nice. We are in Galway for 4 days and already been at the restaurant twice. (Also has a variety of vegetarian and vegan options)

First time to eat at Asian Tea House, and it was superb. The staff were very welcoming, the food was top class, and the pints of Guinness were an added bonus. A lot of other restaurants could learn a lesson from Asian Tea House, on how to make their customers feel welcome. Would highly recommend this venue to anyone, and looking forward to dining there again on my next trip to Galway, early in the new year. A great experience, well done. Michael. Dublin.

Have you seen their vast selection of cocktails on the menu. There has to be a cocktail for everyone, and the barman said they have more on a back catalogue... Best selection of cocktails in Galway over any bar. Rum punch love.

We had dinner for 7 people and every single one of us agreed it was by far one of the best restaurants we have eaten at PERIOD!!! The food, the drinks, service was amazing. If it wasn’t our last night we would have eaten here another 2-3 times.

We absolutely loved the food and the mocktails here. Portions are hearty and the extensive menu means we will keep coming back to try more and more. Recommend the spring rolls and the roti with pretty much anything you order as they are yummy! The decor of the restaurant is very chic and staff are most attentive.

This was recommended by our hotel and was a good choice. Staff were all great and well versed in the menu. Food overall was very good. A relatively cold gyoza was our only negative. Really good cocktails.
