We
have
never
had
a
bad
experience
with
La
Quinta
hotels
and
purposefully
seek
them
out
when
possible.
This
time,
however,
that
was
not
the
case.
We
were
traveling
and
needed
a
place
to
stay
for
the
night
and
we
wanted
a
place
with
a
hot
tub
and
pool.
We
have
stayed
at
the
La
Quinta
in
Mesquite
before
and
was
pleased
but
recent
low
reviews
made
us
decide
to
go
to
Garland
La
Quinta
instead.
I
called
to
make
sure
their
pool
and
hot
tub
were
working.
I
was
told
that
they
were
both
working.
When
we
checked
in,
the
room
was
great
and
worked
perfectly
for
us.
After
dinner,
we
went
to
the
pool.
The
pool
was
clear
and
clean,
but
the
hot
tub
was
cold,
slightly
green
and
smelled
of
fish.
I
was
still
able
to
get
in
the
pool
but
had
been
looking
forward
to
a
hot
tub
after
a
long
drive.
This
morning,
the
breakfast
was
one
of
the
worst
I
have
ever
seen.
The
eggs
were
dry,
crumbly
and
bland.
The
sausages
were
weird,
pale,
and
looked
nasty.
The
electric
yogurt
container
was
empty
or
just
didn't
work.
There
was
no
butter
for
the
toast,
no
coffee
and
no
milk
for
the
cereal.
I
nicely
asked
the
attendant
but
she
said
they
were
out.
Breakfast
was
from
6-9am,
I
was
in
there
at
8am
but
my
husband
and
son
went
down
for
breakfast
around
7:30
and
it
was
the
same.
We
will
not
be
staying
at
this
location
again
unless
we
are
desperate.
If
all
you
need
is
a
safe
clean
room
to
sleep
in
for
the
night,
then
this
is
your
place.
If
you
want
a
clean
hot
tub
or
a
halfway
decent
breakfast
go
somewhere
else.
