Great ambiance with dim lighting, romantic music, as well as the candles and decorations on each table, creating romantic and relaxing atmosphere. Enjoyed my 6-course meal there, all of which are prepared by using high quality ingredients. Every food has a Wow factor, everything is great from the taste to freshness to texture. Great service provided too, each ingredient on the plate was introduced. The transition time between each dish is just right, no rushing or long waits, the whole meal process is very comfortable and relaxing. It’s a happy and enjoyable night there and will go back again, highly recommended. The dining experience definitely worth the price. Do make a reservation before going.

What an amazing experience! Such a beautiful place for a dinner with a group of friends or a couple’s date! Top notch food and service. Start early with drinks & bites & finish with an 8 course menu / 4 course menu I think also available but why to downsize if you can get the full experience!? Top favourite dishes: Mackerel with leeks & caviar Cauliflower ice cream for appetiser was phenomenal! Bread & truffle butter was beyond delicious and we ordered a second portion of it 😬🫣 lamb was perfectly cooked & done nicely Least favourite: Baby octopus which was lacking of some texture & maybe a kick of lemon/ acidity & a spiciness Chicken leg, which was good but wouldn’t recommend it as it doesn’t pair well with the rest of the experience, although I do understand the reason for being on the menu. Risotto was delicious maybe the river prawn needed something to make it more palatable, butter? Garlic? Chilli? Some extra basil would help too. Food flavour/ preference is different for each person so don’t take me wrong about the least favourite ones- there were still awesome but couldn’t compete with my top ones. I highly recommend it to everyone & it’s absolutely worth every penny! Looking forward to come back soon again!

Visited in Sep 2023 There are 2 menus to choose from (RM328++ and RM238++ with one having higher a number of courses than the other). I went for a smaller menu and it was enough for 1 pax. While the starter dishes, 1 mains course and desserts are fixed, you’ll have to choose the 2nd main course. I chose the lamb for the second main course and it was quite good. One area of improvement might be to have a wine pairing and a non-alcoholic pairing drinks menu to go with the food. Service was ok. Could be better slightly. All in all, a place worth going to for a dinner if you’re in Georgetown/Penang.

Ambience was awesome. Food was great. Lamb rack was perfect. Loved the whisky smoked in burnt applewood. Definitely worth the $. Special mention to YT - Yong Ting, if I don’t remember her name wrongly. Very professional, good service. Will be back

We happened upon this place by chance the first night we arrived in Penang and were so glad we did! The whisky sour is the best I've ever had! Food at lazy bar is truly excellent - you can taste the quality in the ingredients and the chef's skill (I recommend the pastas). Service was also fantastic - thank you for a wonderful evening :) We've already been back once, and we will be there again before we leave!

First step in this building, that is a very cozy bar which name Lazy bar. Few more steps ahead, that is curioscity restaurant which I had my dinner just now. First of all, I love the environment over there, the warm lighting make me so comfortable and the tree in between the dining area, make it so lively. There’re plenty candles on the dining table, which make it so romantic and it keep me warm all the time especially under the aircond room….So cold, yet so warm. Long story short, here comes the food, love the kerabu with the local elements inside it, and the King prawn risotto is one of my favourite, taste, texture and presentation on point! With no regrets for dining over there since this is my first visit. Definitely will come back again and looking forward to try their cocktail at Lazy bar.

Hip vibes in a very cool location in George Town, Penang. Serves gorgeous drinks and also food (that I haven't tried yet). Got their Cream Pie and we fell in love with the Bailey's cream and a hidden berry surprise inside. Sexy interior with a chilled exterior, I think I'll definitely be back!

Ordered the 4-course meal with cocktails. Very delicious, portion just nice not the tiny one bite kinds, price worthy, good service and great ambience.

The ambience is great. Industrial look with a French touch. However, food was standard restaurant grade with poor service. The server is not able to share the description of the dishes and can't recommend wine. She has to keep referring to her colleagues. Didn't ask how was our food even it'd was overcooked (I ordered a Wagyu A5 and lamb rack). Was also rushing us to finish. If you are expecting this as a normal restaurant then ok. Definitely not even a causal fine dining. Was disappointed.

Friendly staff, great food, good ambience, highly recommended. They have both Ala carte and set menu, with minimum expenses. I love their tiger prawn spaghetti and risotto so much, will definitely come back again.

Atmosphere is great. We had the four course set menu. The food had great flavors and it was a nice break to have something different during our vacation. I think our waiter was new and didn't get our order right the first time , then we had a huge cockroach that crawled under our table and feet that ruined the mood just a little. 😂
