We had an aperol spritz and a Viennese coffee. Also tried some fresh bread with egg and truffle oil, and roasted garlic with sour cream and cream cheese. The restaurant owner Christoph had also made his own apple strudel, which was delicious. Looking forward to returning again!

A no menu restaurant. Reasonable 4 ⭐️ set dinner, the service and table set up is more than 5 ⭐️. Will be back.

A truly great place to dine! Superb ambience, authentic tasting Austrian & South-German dishes with a great Gastgeber. Definitely will come back again and again.

It would be better if the menu was written down. I understand that there is no fixed menu, and that's fine. But it's hard to order if the appetizers and dishes are told to you verbally and you have to remember all of them and make up your mind. I think there were 8 choices. What made it harder was that all the terms were foreign to me as an asian. Nevertheless, the appetizer was delicious but I found the main dish tasteless.

If you want to explore and experience fine dining in Georgetown Penang like no other here in Malaysia, come and have an Austrian Gastronomy feast… There weren’t enough stars to click on. Christoph and all staff 10 out of 10 absolutely amazing…

What a great find. We went to Christoph’s for a glass of wine and Christoph was so helpful in making the right recommendations for our taste. We really enjoyed the wines and the atmosphere sitting outside on the terrace.

Beautiful Austrian restaurant next to art gallery. I stopped by at this restaurant just by chance because they have negroni, one of my favorites. I ended up ordering main course and dessert. They were delicious.

Austrian restaurant with a flair for traditional national dishes. This is a small restaurant so booking is highly advisable. The food is well prepared and flavoursome. Christoph is very knowledgeable about his wines and has some very interesting and unusual wines on offer.

The food looks like a painting from migel angelow, the perfect taste prepers you for the Austrian wine selection. Nothing more to add....it's a perfect break from the equally 5 star Penang foods

A new German/European restaurant in the town! Certainly a happy place for food monsters like me. Every dining experience is nothing short of spectacular! Cosy ambience, nice food prepared with love, plus warm hospitality. Not to mention it has a very interesting menu that changes every week, curated by none other than Christoph himself! A solid 5/5.
