😐 Many choices in the menu other than the classic chicken rice. The portion is quite big. Service is fast. Tastes are ok. I have ordered a mixed bbq and steamed chicken rice. And a winter melon soup. Parking is hard because the shop is right beside a main road. People often mention chicken, rice,

This place is amazing! I ordered chicken rice, pork, bean sprouts, and spring rolls for takeaway and while I waited I wandered through the eclectic antique gallery. The medicinal mushrooms at the entrance were awesome, and I finally got to see Tiger Milk Mushroom and many others. I'll definitely be going back!

Chicken rice was better than average, other food also not bad. Environment 3/5. Would come back for chicken rice if I am nearby. They don’t serve coffee here, you could buy at the stall next door.

Last came here when i was a boy with my parents.. the shop is basically Ripley's believe it or not artifact museum.. enjoy your fatty loh chicken rice while remembering the old penang relics in the shop.

The chicken rice was alright, nothing too special about it. The atmosphere and decoration of the place has a very nostalgic feeling to it. Other then that the food was just alright.

Honestly, I thought it was a temple since I moved to Penang. I take a moment to walk around this area and realized a statue of a chef with a whole body of chicken on his plate and found out it was a restaurant. Overall, the services are great and I do recommend this place ( only for nonhalal)

Food’s less than RM10, with that portion these days, could’ve been charged more. Glistening fragrant rice pair with smooth steam chicken and barbecue pork 👌. Just hit the right spot.

As all eaters rightly said, a good place for food. The dishes are tasty, price are reasonable, and their staff are very friendly.

If you are looking for a satisfying and delicious meal, you might want to try the steam chicken dish at Fatty Loh Restaurant. The chicken is tender and juicy, steamed to perfection with ginger, garlic and soy sauce. Please order these side dishes: 1. Chicken legs 2. A bowl of chinese watercress soup cooked with red dates, which is nourishing and refreshing. The soup has a sweet and herbal flavour that balances the savoury chicken. 3. Lor bak, which is a fried pork roll wrapped in bean curd skin. The lor bak is crispy and flavourful, served with a tangy chili sauce. This is a meal that will leave you feeling full and happy.

Ordered delivery today and found a dead fly inside the food. This happened when the food was 50% consumed, lost apetite and trust. How dare you put michelin guide stickers by serving food with dead fly.

We ordered bbq and white chicken. Chicken is really good, but the rice is a bit big, have to chew a lot. Portion is generous, good value for money. The venue has a chinese rustic feeling to it. The shop is filled with antiques, felt like eating in a museum storeroom. It's a bit claustrophobic. Restroom is clean and hidden away in another room. A bit eerie.

There are a lot of changes to this place since I came here when I was a young. The owner and my dad are long from a very clot-knit community in Tanjung Tokong, hence they always supported each other. This place is filled with antiques & character. They serve other dishes beside the main focus - chicken rice. I would really recommend this place to those looking for a place suited for family meals. I would always definitely give this place a visit when I return to Penang.

We had the roasted chicken and Rice with a mango salad. Both dishes were good. Chicken was perfectly cooked and the dressing in the mango salad was delicious.

The variety of food is simply superb and delicious especially the chicken rice. Both poached and roasted chicken are succulent and moist. For foodies who enjoy the other white meat (pork), the dishes are awesome. Fatty Loh Chicken is a food paradise.

👍 A friend highly recommended me to visit this restaurant when I travel to Penang. No regrets making my way there as the food is amazing and the pricing is also very reasonable. Don’t mind to visit this place again real soon.

😠 I reached at around 2:30pm and still need to queue till 3:00 pm. Disappointed with the food because the deep fried fish roe and fish are hard rather than crispy. The gravy is also so so only.

👍 Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier. There was only one waiter upstairs in the seating area so it was quite difficult to get his attention. Food is...
