Yes, this is one of the very good Chicken/Pork Noodle Soup, Koay Teow Teng in Hokkien. This Hainanese family business had been handed down from the grandfather since the 1950's. I knew of the history as my dad used to bring me to their hawker stall, at the small alley behind old Cathay Cinema and now Mydin at Penang Road. No chairs and tables then, but small stools to sit down!! And it had been years ago, they have shifted into the present shop!!! Now, on the noodles - very good and flavorful broth!!! Very smooth and tasty noodles with generous amount of meat!! I'd been bringing many friends to this shop for years!!! As expected of Hainanese, good coffee business is the specialty!!!! Brought friends to this famed outlet AGAIN. The signboard in English is known as Evergreen Cafe

A good place to have breakfast or lunch. The restaurant is quite spacious and clean. The owner is very enthusiastic and helpful. There is a variety of noodles (big, small, rice, wheat), you can choose and ask her to cook with your favorite type of meat (chicken, pork, organs, fish balls) water or dry (mix with sauce). Absolutely come back here if I have a chance.

Delicious and cheap koay teow soup. RM5 per serving with 2 pcs fishball, 1 pcs pork ball, minced pork, fish cake and lot of chicken slices. Broth was nicely done. Additional fishball soup at RM0.50 per pcs. Fishball just so so but broth and chicken slices was good. 4 stars

Good services and delicious Koay Teow Th’ng. Not oily and soup full of flavors. Friendly owner. Not like those selling instant cooking type Koay Teow Th’ng.

Really nice noodles, loved the sauces. The amount of meat was generous and well cooked. The liver wasn't great, but everything else was excellent. Also very affordable. 10rm.

Loving it! Will come back. The bosses are friendly old uncle and aunty. Recommended to go for big bowl as the small is really small. Boss recommended to dip the cakoi onto kopi, but I didn’t get to try that.

👍 A friend highly recommended me to visit this restaurant when I travel to Penang. No regrets making my way there as the food is amazing and the pricing is also very reasonable. Don’t mind to visit this place again real soon.

😠 I reached at around 2:30pm and still need to queue till 3:00 pm. Disappointed with the food because the deep fried fish roe and fish are hard rather than crispy. The gravy is also so so only.

👍 Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier. There was only one waiter upstairs in the seating area so it was quite difficult to get his attention. Food is...
