Was trying to find an option to other famous Nasi Kandar in penang when i came cross to Ali Amier. Originally wanted to go to Deen Jelutong to Shah Jahan. However as i was stopping at Maybank , did saw Ali Amier and wanna give it a try. Why not as it just cross the road. Taste wise for me it is just what i was looking for. Just choose Daging and Sotong with Lady finger and the taste was quite stunning for me for the kuah banjir. well it satisfy me enough and filling up my appetite.

Top class, authentic and old school nasi kandar. Always make it a point to stop for at least one meal here when in Penang

A well known nasi kandar in Jelutong, started by Ali's father. In the older days, the shop was just a small stall in a Kopitiam. This outlet is know for its diluted but yet tasty fish curry. Thier fish curry head is extremely cheap and a must to have if u come in a company of head head lovers Very clean shop and you can park it vehicle beside his outlet, Chinese temple car park.

A hidden local gem for those who desire classic nasi kandar. The gravy is authentically made like the old days. You will find a lot of respected elders having their nasi kandar here every morning. Not famously exposed, but truly locals favourite.

If you prefer a watery type of curry then this is where u should go. For me, I prefer something thicker. Overall taste was above average, price was reasonable, queue starts to build up after opening at 6.30pm...

One of the oldest and best in penang! They used to be based in a chinese coffee shop. Now moved to a nearby building on the same road. You may park at the designated parking space right next to this shop. Highly recommended!

Ordered rice with fish and ladies fingers, rm9. Considered cheap. Taste is good for me. We parked at the private parking next to the shop, rm2. Worth it.
