The palace is nice but I thought it would be up stairs but it was just beside of the ship in side the ship it is nice old fashioned steak house it reminded my mom of eden steak house... Anyway the in side is nice very good service food was fast but our sizzling was a bit salty but the buns and butter was amazing super delicious but if you want extra buns and butter it was 5RM for 1 bun and butter the salad it okay and the mushrooms soup it okay overall I give it 4.5 star because the sizzling sauce was a bit salty every thing else is perfect

As with all The Ships nationwide, there's always consistency when it comes to food prep. Steaks were alright and cooked to the doneness I've always preferred; mid rare. The uniqueness of the ship structure which stood out along Batu Ferringhi makes this outlet popular among the rest. Service may need a little improvement especially during food serving to a table with baby/infant.

Environment rated 4/5 -It is comfortable and large group dining friendly Service rate 3/5 -Do understand on the cost controlling of using foreigner worker, while need to pick up the language so he can be more confident to serve. -Food waiting time is very reasonable Food quality rate 1/5 -Mushroom soup is watery and way too salty. -Grill fish is too thin, and the fish is too flaky, was expected that the fish is firm with its texture. But it is not. -The French fries seem like over fried, or re-fried as it is too dry even inside. -The vege serve with the meal is totally not fresh. Should at least pick the better one and discard the matured and old vege. -The Ice blended Cappuccino is totally a Iced Cappuccino, blended is missing -The chicken smells like been kept in fridge for long time. -The banana split, with over ripen banana.

The building where the restaurant is located is in the form of a ship. Looks very grand, majestic.Indeed a still ship fronting the sea, a unique sight at Batu Ferringhi. We ordered black mushroom steak + seafood tomyam soup; Bombay steak + Indonesian oxtail soup.

Poor table arrangement with incomplete cutlery and improper placement. The prawn is not fresh, although the restaurant was placed beside the beach. (taste like the toilet haven't washed a year.)

Ein recht großes und interessant eingerichtetes Restaurant. Die Kellner waren sehr aufmerksam und das Essen kam sehr schnell. Ich hatte einen Filetsteak was wirklich sehr gut und auf den Punkt gebraten war. Die Pilzsoße dazu war gut. Das Gemüse war leider noch mehr als bissfest. Der in der Karte beschriebene Spargel bestand aus genau einer Stange der der Kopf fehlte. Trotz der kleinen Mängel war ich sehr zufrieden und würde auch noch einmal hingehen.

Had dinner at the ship today and was severely disappointed! We ordered an ox's tail soup and the soup was bland with hard shrunken pieces of ox's tail. Next we ordered Fu Yong shrimp and the served us old hardened rice. We also ordered a T-Bone steak and the middle was RAW..... we complained about it and their excuse was... "its meant to be like that"... i'm quite dumbfounded that they could give me such an excuse.. for an 80 ringgit steak.. you would expect better... For that price point.. i recommend you to look else where and pass on coming here...

We went to The Ship @ Batu Feringghi for dinner tonight and were not disappointed. The food was good, service was great, and the atmosphere just what you expect from The Ship. We had the roasted lamb rack, Aussie flown sirloin steak and grilled salmon. The lamb rocked and the steaks were really good. My daughter really liked the salmon although purists might find it a tad over cooked. The service staff were attentive and prompt. I'd read some not so reviewed of the place and was a little wary, but we were all very pleasantly surprised.
