Best Chinese Restaurant in Penang! Love all the food there, tasty, nice plating and serving. Staffs are friendly, helpful and efficient. Reservation is required, get your menu in advance from friendly owner, Sam. Nice set menu with varieties dishes. Chic and stylish ambience, sea and mainland port view. Always best food and experience on culinary here. Very recommended!

Rarely do I post about a restaurant but Chin's Cuisine in Georgetown blew me away! The ambience is amazing..music perfect and the servers and owner Dave are wonderful human beings. The food is out of this world! Five stars for sure for service and if you're looking for stylish Chinese dishes that leave you breathless or to have a birthday dinner or to impress a date I definitely suggest Chin's Cuisine!

I used to visit once many years ago when they're at their old spot & decided to revisit after they reopened at this new place. Once u walk in, u will be welcomed by their service staff, who will bring u to your table. I loved the atmosphere, fine & classy. Though it's 90% packed but it's not too noisy. The food didn't disappoint me. 1st time n now I'm still impressed with the taste & flavours. Everything is cooked to perfection. U can definitely taste the authentic flavours of 🇨🇳 Loved everything here, it's a great place for group gatherings or even romantic dates

Accidentally stumbled upon this place in a row of cool cafe/bars. Service was great! I didnt get the lady’s name fronting the reception but she was really nice when I wanted to just see the resto, ended up coming back the next day to try out the food. Food was on the salty side, would be better to tone it down a bit but it was still pretty good. The Mala Soft Shell Crab thoughhh was to die for!!! Probably the best one we’ve had-EVER!! Must try when you come visit! We did the Set C tasting Menu and added the soft shell crab. They’re also flexible if you want to change something from the tasting menu. Super full by the end of the night we can barely walk!! Lol

There might be a discrepancy to the experience I had here due to the group dinner setting I was part in. It was an appreciation dinner and we had more had 10 people in the group. Unfortunately, numerous drinks on the menu were unavailable and were not updated to the menu itself. There were mistakes in the drinks order because of that as the orders had to be changed. Food service was slower, but that was expected due to the large group. But due to the layout of the table, service staff had a hard time all around during the dinner. The food selection was great and ranged from normal to the niche delicacy that is the local and international Chinese cuisine. It is a bit on the pricey end , and there are paid parking spots available nearby. The location has a nice view of the quay.

Very nice restaurant with impressive decor. Food are delicious and staffs are very friendly. After a fantastic dinner, it was embarrassing that my credit cards couldn’t be used via their POS machine and I didn’t have enough cash with me. The waiter was very patient to go with my son and me to the bank nearby to withdraw cash. Knowing we are tourists, he told us some tourism information and left us until he confirmed that we caught a taxi. Very nice restaurant and nice people.

I’m no expert on Chinese fine dining so this was really an eyeopener - A delightful and wonderfully composed 7 course menu served by a very professional, friendly and service minded team. Everything was delicious but especially the Szechuan Flamed Cod Fish Soup was to die for. I might add that this was a private party of around 50 people and that everything went absolutely smoothly.

Tonight I went to Chin’s Cuisine recommended by the Easton Oriental Hotel and had a wonderful dining experience. As soon as we walked into the restaurant, the ambiance and impressive tableware caught our attention. We chose the set menu and as each dish arrived we were blown away by the delightful blend of flavors and artistic presentation. If I could, I would award them 3 Michelin stars for our exceptional dining experience. What made the evening even more special was meeting the gracious hosts. We had a fun conversation about how he got into the restaurant business, creating the menu, and sourcing these incredible plates from Shanghai. It's a shame he doesn't sell them anymore; I'm so enamored with their beauty. I highly recommend Chin’s Cuisine to anyone looking for an unforgettable food trip. Really glad to find this place that is situated at the pier facing the great ocean. The place is well decorated with a mix of oriental fixtures and modern art. Love the food here. Staff are amazing. They provided food recommendations and even taught us the "best" way to enjoy our food! I particularly like the lucky sticks. The staff pour the soup into bowls for us to enjoy after we ate the skewers. The flaming cod is pretty good too. While we didn't see much of the flame, the cod is tender and the soup is refreshing. The chicken with peanut and dried chilli is my favourite dish of the night. Its not too spicy and you can taste the mala!

Food is absolutely sumptuous and despite it's being a fine dining place, the prices are affordable with food preparation done in high standards. There isn't any dishes served that doesn't wow me. Even the dessert is being served with such detailed and though I do not have a sweet tooth, I still would recommend other food lovers to this place and try out the food.

A delightful, cozy & nice environment for fine dining. The servers were very well mannered, attentive & was always very willing to help. They even teach us how to eat certain dishes. The owner, Sam came by to say hi and offered his name card, which was a nice touch. The food was SzeChuan taste, rich, flavourful & spicy. We enjoyed the Dragon Joy stick alot, the flaming cod fish soup & the other dishes. Ate so much, didn't have room for dessert. Must come again!

Food is tasty. But the last time i was there, they only allowed us to order from fix-set-menu. Kind of disappointed as we went there specifically to try some of their selected dishes. Asked the waiter whether we can swap/change the menu slightly to our liking but was not entertained. Price is a bit on the high side as you are paying for the environment as well. Nonetheless, i'd still recommend this place if you have not been here before.

It was a great experience celebrating my wedding anniversary here. The chinese fine dining although different is delicious and the ambient and view is fantastic. A must try.
