Very very nice. The place contains many cafes. You can also spend a whole day in it, also there’s mall or can walk a little and reach the garden and sit in front of the sea and watch the sunset very beautiful.. The yacht place is very similar to the Marina in Dubai

Have good restaurants to eat but no proper directions for this area … need to have front desk atleast at the main entrance . Not so pleasant but ok to visit for dinner n also for river side feel n walk along the quay n good view

This is a slick beautiful mall that is not very big but it is very enjoyable to walk in. You can see several shops close down every now and then which shows how hard it is to do business here. We normally come here for the ‘Blur Reef’ restaurant (the most customers everytime) as well as the ‘Coffee Bean’ cafe because those 2 eateries are the best in this place in my opinion. The large main area outside serves as an event area and you can sometimes see a kid’s amusement park or funfair outside. The toilets here are very clean. Also, the mall has a small multi-storey car park which is helpful because there aren’t many outdoor parking spots. Residential apartments are available for those who are interested in living near the sea. Outside, there is a boat yard here with many beautiful boats being parked and you can just admire the scenery or even walk around and go for a jog. Overall, two of my favorites eateries are here so I will definitely be back again.

I think this mall deserves a 5-star rating, taking into consideration the location and cleanliness. The mall's interior is well planned. It looks clean and new. I am not sure when it was built. When it comes to visitors, this mall is similar to many others on the island. I thought it was unusually quiet for the time of year, early January, when you would expect people to be out and about hunting for offers after Christmas. There are various upscale retailers, like Selangor Pewter, yacht sales showrooms, and fashion outlets. The outlets are a tad costly, but the pricing reflects the location and the type of people who would shop there.

Too beautiful when the sun rises and sets! U can come for a walk and have a breakfast here at winter warmer. There are all kinds of restaurant here and u can ride your bike or scooter here, u can rent a scooter and bike here too. A nice place for a peace and nice walk. Recommended ( P. S. Oops and I just found that I had repeated alr 😅😅)

I like the design here which is mainly white in theme. The place is very relaxing and there are a lot of restaurants along it with a nice view. However there are not many shops operating inside the building.

Straits Quay Marina Mall is the best location in Penang for food with beer and place for a walk or jog by the beach. It is also a harbor/pier spot for yachts. A romantic place to view the sunset during evening time. You can also view the sky with stars during night time. There are some unique restaurant here with irish bar and so on. There also have grocery stall and korean grocery store.

Very relax place where couples always come here hang out. A lot of bars here which have live bands. But nothing much to do if you don't plan to drink and eat.

A small but beautifully designed mall with a marina for yachts and small boats outside. A nice place for a quiet stroll, especially by the waterside. Other than that there is really nothing much to do here. It is a fairly dead place. The mall seems to cater more to the residents of a large apartment complex next to it.

Nice walk all along towards the City of Dreams - no traffic with views of the sea though the Andaman Island is an eyesore. Great eating places by the Marina if you don’t mind the inflated prices - similar to eating out in UK.

Just went there 2 days ago. Almost every shops on level 2 were closed! I guess many were impacted by the pandemic. There are still some restaurants on level 1. Blue reef fish & chip saved the day for me.

Absolutely lovely views. Just wish there were a few more shops like a book & stationery store, a pharmacy & personal care store, and a (complementary) clothing store. Lots appear quite empty in some areas. However, there is a supermarket and 2 convenience stores, though not selling what I'd like. Penang PAC (Performing Arts Centre), a hall and convention centre are attached here. F&B outlets is a good selection of cuisine fares & price range, and sufficient halal restaurants/cafes. Family-friendly place. There are many ways to get to the boardwalk, but easiest is to enter at the main entrance and walk straight through, past the Tourism Counter and out the other set of glass doors.

Favourite place to go on weekdays! Cause it will be pack on weekends 🤣, the place is really nice but less retail shops, mostly restaurants

a bit of beauty, here and there. Supermarket - pointless, no need to travel so far (Lotus is a long walk but much bigger, better selection) Real Food is crazy pricy (80rm for salad and honey, seriously?) Good to burn 1hr, 1hr 10mins not more. Sadly.

Im going here only up to entrance because only to pick up cakes which is so upsetting. I will go there next time. But during Christmas time, the places even from the entrance are so wonderful. The have pretty big Christmas tree and lots of decorations. What decorations things that catch my eyes is the balloon santa hugging the building. Thats so cute.

Stayed there at the nearby residences for less than a week and I loved the entire atmosphere and beach vibe. The restaurants in the mall (facing the Pier) have mediocre food and are pricey. The Pier walk is great when the climate is nice, else its humid. Since it attracts lots of crowd, there could be a lot more activities planned but it is quiet and calm (which is kinda good too). Highly recommend visiting this place and probably rent an apartment for a day or two to get the actual vibe of this place.

Have a lot good cafe n restaurant. Sam Grocery , Korean Mart...n not crowed

The only marina mall in the island with an attached quay side for yachts, lighthouse and breathtaking seaside promenade at its backyard.

For the view I give 5 stars! Nice place to hang out and enjoy sunset. Nice spot for photo shoot. You can do cycling, strolling, jogging or even skate boarding. During MCO only few restaurants are open, the outer part of the mall. Before MCO this place used to be such a busy venue of many events My fav event is fireworks display during New Year's eve countdown (would be nice to rent a yatch but if you can't afford, hire a tour boat near the fishermen boat area) Sam's Groceries has almost everything you want. To cater the customers which mostly are foreign nationals that are residing at this place and neighbouring. Parking can be easy during less busy day. You can park on the road side but at your own risk. You can get fined if you don't mind. I'm suggesting the management to make this place as an outlet mall like the one in Batu Kawan...would be interesting!

The first time I arrived to enter the parking lot, I used the IC card of the parking bar machine, which can be topped up, when I left because I wanted to stop by to go to the mosque because there are no surau facilities in the area, the parking bar machine was in working order, I came back again in the evening with the card My touch & go IC can't detect that I have to use a Visa bank card, does the machine absorb my Touch & Go credit balance too much, the parking bar machine doesn't allow me to enter and exit the parking lot, anyway that's the last time I entered for parking in the mall there are too many alcohol sales because there are no surau facilities available, at least they also have a halal food restaurant, the staff are Arabs but there is no goat meat, only chicken meat, the appetizing Arabic rice is delicious, according to the price in Arab countries, not too low, coffee Green tea and Tropicana watermelon smoothies are quite expensive at rm15 for a small plastic cup like a coffee cup.

Great place to stop if you just want to enjoy western food and have a few beers or drinks at the local bars there. I walked around here and it was nicely set out in the shops and the restaurants and would probably visit again just to chill out and relax next time I am in Penang if I am craving mainly western food and drinks. There was a Irish bar and Australian bar there I noticed.

Went for a post-Daorae early Mother's Day dinner walk along the marina and mall. Waves were crashing on the rocks next to the breakwater. Beautiful to photograph at night, as well as the Andaman Island bridge lit up against the city skyline! especially as a panoramic.

Nice for a slow walk. There are some small crowds at the pubs at night.

Sam's Groceria has got a new management. It's still clean as before. The only one new change I noticed was the presence of a Middle Eastern food outlet. Their food was truly a value for money and delicious! Below pic is an old one.

Good initiative for Straits Quay management to bring in the theme park machine that suitable for toddlers. We just came back from Genting not long ago before visiting SQ. My kid enjoy playing in SQ compared to Genting. Hope to see SQ management to bring in this toddlers theme park again. It will definitely turns out to be another favourite spots for family hang out place.

You can find k-mart, China shop, sam's grocery store, enhance academy, coffee beans coffee shop, Starbucks and so on.

Parking is not a problem. Nice view here. But the shops are getting lesser here. Used to be quite happening.

Nice spacious building with some eateries, shops, a higher end grocery, bars etc. Lovely sea view while resting or having food and drinks at the bars or restaurants located facing the sea. Quite a sight to see a number of yachts, sailboats docked at the marina here.
