It was really good but not now. Bad in quality, quantity, service. If you buy their choux, it’s like opening a mystery box. You’ll never know how much cream you get before you had a bite. Sometimes the cream will burst out, sometimes you can’t even find the cream. If you buy their toast, it’s another mystery box. They usually cut their toast into half so you’ll get different things from different side. Only one side with eggs, why? Not sure probably another side doesn’t deserve it? Sometimes you will get an upgraded mystery box if you ordered their kaya toast. Now you see the butter when you opened up then you don’t 🤡 yes camouflage butter. If you ever wondered why am writing here but not telling them instead. We tried to text them, but they left us on seen. We tried to comment, but they deleted our comments. What else can I do? I write it here lo

Really like the way they served their toast and sandwiches. It's really good in taste on their toast and even they have lot of varieties to choose for. The photos that I ordered is Ham cheese and the potato cheese. And I love this cosy little cafe that can provide a relaxing with coffee n snacks.

📍Le楽 @ Hin Bus Depot 🥪Distinctively crafted gourmet Sandwiches and amazing toast - that's exactly how I'd describe Le楽 Café. 🌻Quaintly located at the Hin Bus Depot Area, this café serves a fusion of different genres of food, packed in a sandwich that's toasted to perfection. Ranging from Peanut Butter Kaya Toast to Fish Katsu Curry Sandwiches, they clearly take pride in their goods served. 🍞My colleagues went for the Goo Sandwich (Homemade beef patty with Japanese Vibes) and the Toast Bacon; they loved it. I wanted something simple, so I chose something straightforward - the classic Kaya Toast. It was satisfactory, with a slab of butter melting between the crispy toasted bread. 🥖Le楽 Café provides a comfortable setting to hangout and experiment with a different kind of sandwich. Try it out, and have taste of their uniquely crafted sandwiches.

Food - No wow factor on the toast. Bit disappointed with my selection that failed to deliver as expected. May be other selection will be more satisfying. However, the Brioche was really good with the caramelised onion, paired perfectly well with all the ingredients and the bun. Drinks - standard Environment - bit run down as most of the deco greens witted and left unattended. Service - the staff not friendly and approachable

One of the highly recommended cafe from the blog. I'm excited with the sandwich that they have. This cafe located right opposite of the neo+penang hotel. Friendly service and very cosy ambience. I have ordered the ham, bacon and the kaya toast. Taste really superb and yummy. The orange juice is freshly made and taste good. I'm totally impressed with the sandwich and definately will come back again.

The ambience is nice, but take note that upstairs is bit cold with strong a/c during morning. The sandwich is quite delicious and bit crust on the edges (which is really good). Overall it’s good and recommended for people who enjoy sandwiches~

A bakery cafe within the edge of the Hin Bus Depot Art enclave pandering to the vulgarities of youthful extravagance where a small latte costs more than Starbucks but served with love in a heart shaped milky foam for RM12.00. Such is the price of affirmation for our dispossessed middle-class youth.

I visited this sandwich cafe recently and was blown away by the delicious food and friendly service. I tried a few different items on the menu, including the Shrimp Katsu, SIAM PO, and Goo BEEF, and each one was better than the last. While my parents and children prefer the more traditional toast, which is also great. Overall, I would highly recommend Le Cafe to anyone looking for delicious and unique flavors in a casual and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're in the mood for classic sandwiches or something a little more adventurous, this cafe has something for everyone.

Spent a couple of hours here enjoying the coffee, toast and 90’s pop songs. Coffee was good and the toast served with generous amount of kaya and butter, love it. However, I felt the half boiled egg could be better. Do go upstairs for more space with bigger tables.

I was looking forward to this place due to the good reviews, the nice location, and the fact that I love sandwiches. However I was unfortunately disappointed. When I entered none of the staff greeted me and I was a little confused as to how to order and where (you have to order at the counter as I discovered when a group that came after me beat me to it so I had to wait extra long for my sandwich). Interior is not very comfortable and lacks feng shui. When I got there some tables were dirty so I had to stick to a smaller table by the wall. And the bathroom has mosquitoes and I got bit while washing my hands. I ended up doing take away because I felt more comfortable. I got the tuna sandwich for 12rm and sad to say it was pretty mediocre and very forgettable. The cashier was nice though and the sandwich didn’t taste bad (just mediocre) so 3 stars for a neutral view.

The toast that you can't miss out in George Town, Penang. The fragrance homemade toast along with filling of your choices. OMG, it's really heaven. I dare you to try it out and you'll never regret it. Recommended, the beef toast.

Read a lot of good reviews for this place so decided to try them out. And they did not disappoint! Bacon toast is so good, i really liked the egg’s texture, the ham and bacon taste perfect and are not too overpowering. Iced mocha is among the best i ever tasted, there is a smooth strong chocolatey taste to it. Price is reasonable too. I visited on a Tuesday afternoon and there were a few customers but not crowded, so it was quiet and relaxing. Good place to chill out. Their interior is simple yet cozy and also, they have top notch music taste

Le Cafe serves one of the best sandwiches in George Town, Penang. Highly recommended. They bake their own bread too, and there's a tiny bakery just beside the cafe.

Quiet and peaceful on a Monday public holiday. Crab egg mayo sandwich was simple, fuss free. Reminiscent of childhood homemade sandwiches. Decent black coffee. Happy to return.

The Taiwanese style sandwiches are one of the best, if not the best in Georgetown. The food quality is consistent in all the visits to the cafe.

Nothing much on the menu but good enough for me to visit again for its sandwich. The sandwich is simple yet tasty. The crab meat is the real crab not the imitation type. Surrounding is quite happening eg. Hin Bus Depot where weekend has some art craft showcase.

Choice of sandwiches is pretty limited & taste is just so so only. Gosh...No set menu, No weekday set, No kids meal, No vegan options, Limited drinks options. Just Gr8 for its relaxing atmosphere. Uncomparable to the one i had in Bali months ago, Sanzburg Sandwich & Sandwichopedia @ Pererenan, Canggu! (Chck the photo at far right) Le Cafe mgmt needs rejuvenation to its sandwiches menu...

Satisfying and comforting toasts! We had trouble picking because of the wide variety available. Sadly, the portion was quite small. We felt that the fillings could be more generous. The Siam Po pork toast with hashbrown was better than the Garlic Butter mushroom toast in our opinion 😋 The Egg&Cheese brioche was also a nice snack but the fillings were really little - would be great with more eggs and onions! Unfortunately the top of the bun was burnt after being left on the grill for too long...

Loveee this cosy café at Hin Bus depot which specialises in sandwiches. From simple toasts like kaya butter toast to savoury staples like ham and cheese, or more bold flavours like teriyaki unagi or mentaiko crab, Le has it all, and at a very reasonable price. Their sandwiches are tasty, comforting and a perfect for a quick or light meal. Coffee here is also good, and they sell their own drip bags as well as spreads. I love their rattan furniture, and the potted plants around the area brings some freshnesss into the whole space. One of the places I'd love to come back everytime for a cuppa and tasty sandwich!

Ordered the unagi breakfast sandwich and was surprised how delicious it was. All of the other dishes we ordered were tasty as well. Only issue was the during the ordering process, took a few minutes to get it all sorted out which seems counter intuitive to what it should be. Definitely will come back though to try more food.

The scrambled eggs and bread for the sandwiches were cold, but I expected the bread to be warmed at least. but the flavors were good and the ice matcha was really delicious. I don't like the idea of paper plates and plastic cutlery.. It's a small restaurant and I would recommend that they at least use porcelain or glass plates. At least you will protect the environment and have a nicer visual. And the tables need to be cleared before service

First, the cafe was hard to locate cos the signage is almost all fallen off (see my pic) And it’s actually called Le Le Cafe (乐乐咖啡) Le in mandarin means happy. I stepped in with gloomy sluggish staff. As a tourist and first time here, I thought I stepped into a funeral!😓 When I commented that the signage is hard to see, the guy staff pointed somewhere out- who would see?? Ask me scanned QR code to order, when I went to cashier to make my order, realised there are physical menu! Lazy or what?! At least ask if the customer is first time here, to decide if a physical menu would be a better option or not. Food is good, all my two stars went to the food and black coffee only. All staff are youngsters, heard some bickering which started later - open kitchen so I heard all😳 When I am almost done, another customer came in with a child repeatedly said three times: don’t you all pick up calls?? (She called to enquire if her pick up order is ready or not) Staff just replied coldly: oh we don’t…. (What?!) I heard that customer said (which I would say the same also): then don’t put telephone on fb if you are not intending to pick calls! 🙄🙄🙄 Bad vibes. Did I mention that I saw a cctv staring at my seated eye level while I ate? CCTV should be installed more appropriately la (like a higher height or what) A pity cause they/it can be done so much better!

The environment is nice and calming. Food was nice but felt slightly on the high side in cost. They provide WiFi so good for tourists. Overall a nice experience and place to dine and chill.

    - Casual, relaxed breakfast/ sandwich spot - They have many varieties to their sandwich - The Thai Pork Sandwich is great but it was kinda hard to eat because it’s in a long strip. So you have to tap into your primal and rip it with your teeth (Rawr.) or you gonna be left with a messy sandwich and no pork. - The Unagi sandwich is good but the unagi itself is too small that after 2 bites you end up with an egg sandwich - All their sandwich has scrambled egg inside - Relatively expensive for sandwich but it’s fairly worth it.

My first time here and I will return again if I have the chance. Friendly and polite staff. Their hojicha latte is quite fragrant as well. I love their sandwiches and the variety of flavours they have. My only gripe would probably be the sandwiches could be served a little warmer? Prices are reasonable as well.😊 Worth a visit if you’re in town!

"Semi" pet-friendly spot as they only allow guests with pets to sit outside. The food and coffee are above average, at reasonable price as well. The sandwiches are presentable and nice! A lot of choices to choose from as well!

Nice breakfast. Butter kaya is my favourite, simple but nice. Other also OK. Limited seats and carpark. You can park at Gama car park and walk over. Just 2mins walk. Will come back again. Recommend for family and friends. Free sky juice

Ordered the original and number 8, ie. Crab The sandwiches were homely and if you're feeling a bit blue and under the weather the food here will be right up your alley! The coffee was slightly too bitter for me and the matcha latte was also a bit too rich, too much matcha powder but it might be suitable for people who are crazy about matcha hahaha

Cafe not even packed but it took 45 mins for them to prepare 2 simple orders. Best part is the food arrived before the drinks. 45 mins is already painfully slow but they can't get 1 Hot Latte and 1 Hot chocolate done by that time frame. Would only recommend if you have too much spare time on your hands as their service is as horrible as their preparation time.

Clean and cozy cafe which is selling toast, sandwiches and drinks. Both sandwich and fries are good. Friendly staffs. Will definitely return for other flavors of toast/sandwiches.

The foods and drinks were delicious, staffs are friendly as well. But the shop has limited seating spaces and the walkway is very narrow. Suggest to install auto sliding door for the entrance, a lot of customers did not draw the sliding door back after entering or exiting.
