A very rude lady owner. When ask for curry extra she will stare and provide the curry in rude manner(by hitting the ladle harder on plate). Won't take order but will walk here and there without doing nothing.

Had a lovely “Chicken set”, 10.50RM. Rice, three side dishes and great chicken curry - all served on a banana leaf. The lime ice tea was a nice refreshment.

Had a really delicious banana leaf mutton set here today. Probably the best Indian food I have had on Penang! The staff were all very friendly as well. Nice cool AC helped a lot, but the food really was outstanding. Going back before my trip is over.

Only one set of curry container used for all customers. We needed to quickly take whatever amount of curry before the serving container was taken away....

Authentic Indian food served, as the name would suggest, on a banana leaf. Very cheap.

Skip this and eat at Woodlands across the street. Better tasting and variety of food and definitely a better price for what you get there. Shusi’s menu has a misleading photo of the vegetarian leaf meal - over half the items in the photo are not served but the charge is the same. There are numerous cheaper options in George Town with a more authentic experience. We dined ~ 8:30 pm and they already “ran out” of many simple items like even papad.

Food - We went to this shop yesterday, the taste of the food was average...we just took the basic foods, but the price was too expensive, not worth for the taste of the food... Service - The service of staffs are excellent, especially the one who serves the food at the food counter...and the man at the counter is friendly too.... Atmosphere - The restaurant was clean, but they only prepared only one toilet ( Used by both male and female )...so you have to wait in a long queue...

Fell into here with hungry tummies, emptyish pockets and low expectations. We had a great time! Masala dosa was fantastic, cups of aromatic tea hit the spot and the other guests were really friendly as were the busy staff. If this restaurant was back in Vietnam we would go there every day!

Banana leave was nice for vege, but variety of curry could be improvised. They have vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Pretty pricy for a just normal banana leave.

They were provided spoiled food (we ordered masala vaadai) even though the staff knew it was stale. Before serving us, the staff reheat the food. Thank god we didn't eat the food. I highlighted to the staff about foods it's already spoiled, they didn't give apologise and any response us. Simply throw the food away from us. It's already been informed, yet the spoiled food still on the tray to serve for other customers. It's clearly seen that the food quality is totally bad.

Very poor customer management. We reached and was having tea time there then staff asked to change place after there were big group of people. Which we understood and get up to change.yet the other table were also occupied by another new customer. Could've check and inform the new customer that the place were occupied. Poor customer service. We left the place without finishing our drink as they didn't bother settling it.

Price for banana leaf meal for two with one tofu sambal was RM22.50. There was not much of vegetable in the sambar. The standard Vege dishes were cabbage, cucumber and a mixed vege, with papad. I do not know how to make sense of this pricing.

Banana leaf vege meal charging at RM10.50/per set, with the portion of vege provided is so little and left overs. NOT A GOOD PLACE TO SUPPORT

WENT FOR DINNER WITH FAMILY.. PLACE WAS CROWDED BUT ONE HELPFUL STAFF (THOSAI GUY) MANAGED TO GET US A TABLE. SINCE IT WAS CROWDED WE WAITED FOR SERVICE BUT WE UNDERSTOOD THE LACK OF MANPOWER... AFTER SEEING THE STAFF TAKING ORDERS ON OTHER TABLE WHICH THEY JUST CAME WHILE WE WAITED FOR SERVICE, I GOT ANGRY. I SAW THE WAITER TALKING CASUALLY WITH OTHER STAFF, IGNORING US. I WENT UP TO HIM AND ASKED HIM TO TAKE OUR ORDER BUT HE ASKED ME TO GO BACK TO THE TABLE OR IF I DON'T WANT TO WAIT WE CAN GO TO OTHER SHOP. LATER I FOUND OUT HE IS THE OWNER'S SON.. ..I WONDER IF THIS IS OWNER SON, WHAT ATTITUDE WILL THE OWNER HAVE... (apple don't fall far from the tree) .... I WILL PRAY THAT THIS SHOP WILL BANKRUPT SOON... WITH THIS KIND OF SERVICE..... FYI... WE ARE PAYING CUSTOMERS.

Food was average but very extensive for 2 person cost RM50. We took very basic meals. Not worth it. Person who charged us very rude and they way he spoke looks like he doesn't one the customers to come back. Worst place ever!

I walked into this restaurant at 1200hours and waited till 1212 hours, no one asked me for order plus i was starving, The owner seems to be busy firing the workers, worst and last visit for me, the previous owner had mannera to respect customers which present owner should practice

I was dying for pulut and I randomly walked into this restaurant. I have never said this but everything was just simple delicious. I had the mee goreng which was so delicious while hubby had the kuttu parata. Simply sinful ( in a good way). Do try their pulut- mouth watering

On 18.10.2020 we had lunch in this restaurant. Food contain hair so proceed to make complain in the counter but the cashier women in the counter shouted toward us. Where we didn't encounter this kind of attitude towards any F&B staff before. As a staff they have to apologise for their mistake but the opposite way around happened to us today. This is soo embarrassing toward ur own restaurant, I hope the shop owner take action toward this lady. I couldn't find owner contact no. in website, but I hope u will view this review. We won't step to this restaurant anymore.

😠 I reached at around 2:30pm and still need to queue till 3:00 pm. Disappointed with the food because the deep fried fish roe and fish are hard rather than crispy. The gravy is also so so only.

👍 Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier. There was only one waiter upstairs in the seating area so it was quite difficult to get his attention. Food is...
