Me and my friends happen to just walk by and enter without looking it up. It was a quaint and dainty cage. The large wooden tables was such a lovely and rustic touch. Carpark is quite tough to find. But the pancakes and food is great. We will definitely come back here again. Staff was polite and friendly.

First time check-in this cafe at chulia lane. They serve around 8 set lunch (main course) like burger, big breakfast, salmon spaghetti, vegetarian spaghetti, grill chicken chop, grill chicken pasta.. We ordered grill chicken chop and burger, the taste not bad. The only concern is there have no parking. Food: 3 stars Environment : 3.5 stars Value for money: 3.5 stars Worth to try: 3.5 stars

Not cheap (10-12 RM for a cup of coffee) but absolutely worth the money! We had sandwiches, cake and fresh smoothies, everything was fantastic. Best sandwich I had for weeks! Also very lovely service. Would recommend.

All the food are prepared from the heart with the freshest ingredients! The cafe makes their own bread too. Pet friendly, you can enjoy your cuppa with your lil pooch in a cute seating area outside amidst beautiful greens!! They also do their bit to help support emerging and local artists with affordable art for sale in the cafe. Love love

A cute cafe for a refreshment break whilst exploring the fabulous city of Penang. We visited for lunch in between our explorative pursuit. The food was delicious and the staff were very astute. A comfortable cafe with interesting artwork! We recommend!

We liked the place, but could not love it. Couldn't really put a finger on it, but it didn't click. Just a lukewarm feeling. The place is done up quite nicely. Very Insta friendly. The food and drinks took time to arrive. They were good, not great. Probably just an off day. Let's just put it down to that.

I feel very blessed to have found this lovely cafe that serves the best sandwich in Penang! My favourite is the pesto grilled chicken sandwich! so well marinated and packed with loads of their homemade coleslaw vege! So delicious! Recently tried hauz pork burger, the pork patty is so delicious too! So happy to found another hidden gem and i cant wait to try their pasta 🀩

It was a peaceful morning as I sat on the veranda with my morning coffee, listening to the neighbour playing Chinese opera (on the radio) in the midst of occupied old residentials.

20 Chulia Lane Cafe serves one of the best homemade apple pie in town. If you are tired of mushy apple pie in fast food restaurant, the pie here will give you whole new experience with generous amount of par-cooked apple slices in a golden crust. Even better, top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It is also a cozy place to rest your feet and have a cup of gourmet coffee in the heart of George Town.

5 stars rating for food, prefectly done. The only - ve feedback, limited parking and the cat on table... Not an issue for me but maybe a concern for "ultra hygiene" people.

This hidden cafe was cute and quiet, with strong AC, and most importantly, very strong WiFi! Definitely the best WiFi we found on the island (we tried three other cafes!). We didn’t order any food but noted they did have a lot of food options; the staff was friendly and attentive. Really great option for anyone looking to get some work done!

Incredibly delicious coffee and the sandwich I had…as big as my mouth, stuffed with veggies and super tasty! Nice atmosphere, super music, perfect staff. Also cheaper than the main road but same or even better offer. Come to visit this lovely place!

This is an unpretentious family-owned cafe serving good coffee and refreshing drinks in a comfortable, clean and beautiful place, and the owners are lovely people. Thanks for having me and serving me such good coffee! Yeah, this place is a gem. :)

Nice cosy place for a decent meal. Quality ingredients and generous portion. Tried ham & cheese sandwich, juicy pork burger, grilled chicken pasta and waffle with banana and ice-cream. Worth a try. At least a place for good Western food and coffee for me.

Came here in the afternoon for tea break. The special thing about this cafe is the layout, it feels like a local home because of the furniture and plates. The coffee is good, a little fruity. The ingredients of sourdough are fresh.

A wonderfully peaceful cafe.I tried the Classic Breakfast. My sis had Spaghetti Aglio Olio. A truly enjoyable, relaxed experience all round. Reasonably priced too. Ideal if one is not in hurry. We shall return soon. Certainly a favourite.

😠 I reached at around 2:30pm and still need to queue till 3:00 pm. Disappointed with the food because the deep fried fish roe and fish are hard rather than crispy. The gravy is also so so only.

πŸ‘ Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier. There was only one waiter upstairs in the seating area so it was quite difficult to get his attention. Food is...
